Dale Dudley

MULESHOE (Special) Services for Dale Dudley, 66, of Muleshoe were Monday at Trinity Baptist Church in Muleshoe with the Rev. Robert Brown, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was in Muleshoe Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.

He died Friday, April 16, 1999, at Covenant Hospital.

He was born May 4, 1932, in Olton. He married Wanda Anders in Muleshoe on Dec. 15, 1951. He had been a resident of Muleshoe since 1968, when he moved from Olton. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Muleshoe. He farmed in the Olton area and had a service station in Olton. He repaired radiators in Olton and in Muleshoe. He was employed by Poynor's White Auto Store in Muleshoe as shop foreman for 24 years.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronald Dudley of Plainview and Kevin Dudley of Dallas; two daughters, Kathy Bock of Earth and Joy LaDene Harvey of Springfield, Ore.; two brothers, Melson Dudley of Floydada and Denny Dudley of Seagraves; two sisters, Mary Wheeler of Hart and Linda Mainwaring of Springfield, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

L.G. Gray

Services for L.G. "Glen" Gray, 77, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Entombment will be in Resthaven Mausoleum under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

He died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, at University Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 27, 1922, in Eastland.

His wife, Ava Lee Webb Gray, preceded him in death in 1993.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, severing during World War II.

He was retired from Phillips Petroleum Co.

Survivors include two sons, Dwayne Gray of Port Arthur and Jerry Gray of Houston; a brother, E.R. Gray of Fritch; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Norbert Morris

KENT, Wash. - Services for Rev. Norbert Morris, 78, will be Wednesday in Alliance Bible Church.

He was born near Bedford. He attended Dixie schools for 10 years. He graduated from Wilson High School and John Brown University in Arkansas. He graduated from Washington State University in Seattle. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a pastor and a principal.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; six children; three brothers, Donnie of New Home, Dayle of Roswell, N.M., and Aubrey of Indiana; four sisters, Jewel Brown of Lubbock, Maae Curtis of Hobbs, N.M., Hazel Groves of Lubbock and Gloella Finch of Denton; and several grandchildren.

Petronilo Robles

Rosary for Petronilo "PG" Robles, 82, of Lubbock will be said at 7 p.m. today at White Memorial Chapel.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. James O'Connor officiating.

Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of White Funeral Home.

He died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, in Lubbock.

He was born on May 31, 1917, in Coleman. He attended Concho County schools. He married Lasara Morales in August 1947 in Hobbs, N.M. He moved to Lubbock from Eden in 1948. He was an engineer for Service Compress for 30 years and retired in 1991. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tomas Rodriguez and Robert Robles, both of Lubbock; two daughters, Berta Wells and Martha Aleman, both of Lubbock; two brothers, Tomas Robles of Brady and Jose Robles of Lubbock; three sisters, Anita Garcia of Spur, Susie Garcia of Salinas, Calif. and Maria Elena Maldonado of Hobbs; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Catholic Family Services, 102 Ave. J, Lubbock, 79401.

Erin Mongrain

KNOX CITY (Special) Services for Erin Colleen Mongrain, 21, of Abilene will be held at the King County Mongrain Ranch at 10 a.m. Monday with Leon Burkham and Gene McCarty officiating.

She died Friday, July 23, 1999.

She was born April 16, 1978, in Shamrock. She attended Knox City schools for seven years and graduated from Point Creek High School in 1997. She was employed by the Abilene Petroleum Club and was a member of the Church of Christ in Knox City.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Emily and Jackie Swafford of McClean, and her father and stepmother, Rocky and Pam Mongrain of Knox City; two brothers, Alan Donaldson of Folson, Calif., and Greg Donaldson of Wichita Falls; four sisters, Mandy Terry of Poetau, Okla., Angela Carnley of Round Rock, Crissy Swafford of McClean, and Jessica Fleming of Cross Plains; and her grandparents, Clarence and Osa Billingsley.

Alfredo Brito

STANTON - Rosary for Alfredo Brito, 57, of Stanton will be at 7 p.m. today in Gilbreath Funeral Home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Arturo Pestin officiating.

Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.

Brito died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in a Big Spring hospital.

He was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Stanton. He served in the Marine Corps for 13 years. He moved to Stanton from St. Louis, Mo., in 1984. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Robin Brito of St. Louis, Elizabeth Brito of Corpus Christi, Nancy Rodriquez and Sandra Brito, both of El Paso; a sister, Aurora Sanchez of Stanton; a brother, Eleno Brito of Stanton; and seven grandchildren.

Dennis Duval

Services for Dennis Lee Duval, 44, of Lubbock will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Sanders Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. William R. Fleming of First United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in the City of Lubbock cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

He died Thursday, August 12, 1999, at University Medical Center.

He was born on December 18, 1954, in Lubbock. He graduated from Coronado High School. He was a Methodist. He worked for Summers Falcon Sprinkler Company as a sprinkler fitter.

Survivors include his mother, Frances Duval of Lubbock; and a sister, Darla Kay Czerwinski of Mabank.

Andrew Bengoa

Services for Andrew Bengoa, 30, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home with the Rev. Lupe Rando officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Bengoa died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, in University Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 15, 1969, in Lubbock. He married Sandra Bengoa in 1992. He worked for Bengoa Masonry as a bricklayer. He was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Amber Lee and Alexandra, both of Lubbock; a brother, Eliseo of Lubbock; two sisters, Ruth Ann Fallar of Las Vegas, Nev., and Elisabeth Bengoa-Munoz of Lubbock; his parents, Indalecio and Leonora Bengoa of Lubbock; his maternal grandparents, Santos Rando of Lubbock and Mary Rando of Friona; and his paternal grandparent, Paz Gomez of Mexico City.

Billie Jo Walker

LORENZO - Services for Billie Jo Walker, 68, of Lorenzo will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Golden officiating. The Rev. Dennis Williams will assist.

Burial will be in Lorenzo cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 31, 1930, in McKinney. She married Jimmie G. Walker on Jan. 7, 1949, in Lubbock. She was a member of Lorenzo First Baptist Church. She was a Girl Scout leader for 25 years. She moved to Lorenzo from Collin County in 1941. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Glen of Lorenzo; two daughters, Janice McClaran of Lorenzo and Judy Powe of Lorenzo; four brothers, H.H. Cate of Hurst, Wayne Cate of Canton, Don Cate of Granbury and E.M. Cate Jr. of Shallowater; a sister, Helen Davis of Dallas, Ore.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Lloyd Reece

Services for Lloyd Dale Reece, 50, of Lubbock will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Redbud Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Ainsworth officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Chapel of Angels Funeral Home.

He died Friday, August 13, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born Jan 19, 1949, in Plainview. He was born and raised in Plainview. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1967 and from Texas Tech in 1976. He worked for Southern Cotton Oil Co. for 23 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for two years. He was a member of Southlawn Baptist Church in Amarillo. He was married to Teresa Payne Reece.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Nolan of Lubbock; his mother, Ollie Reece of Amarillo; three brothers, Larry, Doyle and Ricky, all of Amarillo; five sisters, Marsha Goodyear of Silver City, N.M., Janice Blandford and Karen Nelson, both of Amarillo, Lana Essman of Cypress, and Kristi Ray of Spring.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.

Markita Morris

SEAGRAVES - Services for Markita Morris, 12, of Seagraves will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Seagraves High School Auditorium with the Rev. Roosevelt Moore and the Rev. Morris officiating.

Burial will be in Seagraves cemetery under direction of Head Family Funeral Home.

Markita died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Seminole Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 13, 1986, in Houston. She was a sixth grader at Seagraves schools.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Mildred and Carlos Challenger of Seagraves; three brothers, Galean Hill, Tyvonne Morris and Durance Morris, all of Baytown; and two sisters, Kristle Nicole Hill of Seagraves and Tomanicka Morris of Baytown.
