Wanda Juanita Tucker
AUSTIN - Wanda Juanita Tucker, 69, of Big Lake, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Easter Sunday, April 15, 2001, in an Austin hospital. Juanita was born February 3, 1932, to Henry and Ella Mae Dobbs. From her family, the following describes her life: "You put up a valiant fight, now rest. Know that you were loved." She was a character, and the world needs characters like her to remind us that life is, after all, meant to be lived." In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated, and her ashes scattered on places she loved. "Even in death, she remains a wanderer." Survivors include two sons, Randy and Karen Tucker and Dan and LaDonna Tucker; and one daughter, Kim Siegenthaler; one sister, Patsy Stanfill; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
