Funeral Services for Ludella Jones, 95, of Camden, Texas will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2008 in the Lily Island Baptist Church in Camden, Texas with Rev. Charles Darden officiating. Interment will follow in the Lily Island Cemetery in Camden, Texas.
Mrs. Jones was born June 2, 1912 in Beaumont, Texas and passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008 in Camden, Texas. She was a homemaker all of her life and a member of the Lily Island Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband: Ben Jones; parents: Jack and Rosetta (Williams) Minor; sons: Arthur Jones and James Earl Jones; daughter: Charlene Green; brothers: Namon Minor, Charlie Minor, and Levert Minor; and sisters: Reva Blount, Lila Freeman, and Viloa Dick, Bessie Williams, and Cora Minor.
She is survived by her sons: Theophilus Jones of Houston, Ben Jones Jr. of Humble, and Oscar Jones of Houston; daughters: Rosetta Kyles of Beaumont, Willie Lee of Houston, Jewel Bailey of Houston, Betty Louise Burleson of Houston, Helen Jermany of Houston, and Frankie Jackson of Camden; 35 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearer: Michael Jones, Donnie Bailey, Alfred Jermany, Lionell Comier, Lionell Comier Jr., Anderson Wood Jr., Edwin Green, and Charles Burleson.
Honorary Pallbearers: Johnny Bailey, Alfred Jermany Jr., Ben Jones Jr., Louis Adams, Oscar Jones, and Rev. L. Woods.

Mary R. Cupps
December 7, 1922 - February 16, 2008

Mary Ruth Cupps, 85, of Livingston, passed away Saturday, Feburary 16, 2008 at Livingston Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jessie Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in Sumpter Cemetery near Woodlake, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 19, at Pace Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cupps was born on December 7, 1922 to A.B. and Amanda Williams. She married Tom M. Cupps on November 10, 1951 in Pasadena. She was a member of Blanchard Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by Tom M. Cupps and brothers; Turner, Morris A.B., Gwinn and Glenn Williams.

Survivors include her Daughter Jamie Ruth Holmes of Livingston; Son, Carroll Tom Cupps of Jewett; brother Bill Williams and wife Mary Lou of Pasadena. Sister-in-law; Gwendolyn Williams, widow of Morris A.B. Williams of Cushing, Texas. Three grandchildren, Thomas D. Holmes, Denise D. Holmes and Dianne Cupps; and one great-grandchild, T.J. Earnhardt-Holmes. A host of nieces and nephews. Special thanks to friends, Pat and Buddy Hall and Rosa Davalos.

Pallbearers will be: Jacob Lorfing, Jimmy Cupps, Bill Williams, Jr., Weymon Caldwell, Charles Thomas Morgan and Cliff Norman.

Larry Leonard Sutton
January 19, 1933 - February 14, 2008

Funeral services for Larry Leonard Sutton, age 75, were held Sunday 2:00 PM at Pace Funeral Home, with Mr. Daniel Friz officiating. Interment following in Peebles Cemetery in Livingston.

Mr. Sutton was born in Houston, Texas, January 19, 1933 and passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the Conroe Regional Medical Center in Conroe, Texas.

Mr. Sutton was in the Navy, stateside, during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed photography, computers, cars, building things and outdoor grilling and making his homemade Barbeque sauce.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles Richard and Susie Wedel Sutton.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Flora Kaehn Sutton; Son, Perron Richard Sutton and spouse Malina, Daughter; Tammy Sue Friz and spouse Daniel, Sister; Billie Richerlee Becker; Grandchildren; Patience Emily Anne Friz, Elizabeth Joy Friz and Olivia Grace Friz.

Agnes Sybil Lummus
September 8, 1924 - February 13, 2008

Agnes Sybil Lummus, age 83, passed away February 13, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Northeast in Humble. Mrs. Lummus was born in Jewett, Texas, September 8, 1924 to Tom and Winnie Ferguson Story, whom preceded her in death. She lived in Livingston for 56 years and was a very good Christian mother and grandmother. She was a member of Chesswood Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, 10:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating.

She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother and her Husband, James Lummus.

Her survivors include her two sons; James and David Lummus, of Shepherd, two daughters; Sandra Stanley of Shepherd and Phyllis Presswood and spouse Todd, of New Caney. Four brothers; Odell, Aubrey, Jim and Hubert. Six sisters; Faye, Mary, Bernice, Moisell, Effie and Virgie and eight grandchildren.

Billy Dale Barnett Sr.
November 8, 1948 - February 7, 2008

Funeral Services for Billy Dale Barnett Sr., 59, of Crosby, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2008 in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel in Corrigan, Texas with Bro. Lesly Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008.
Mr. Barnett was born November 8, 1948 in Camden, Texas and passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008 in Huffman, Texas. He was a truck driver for Transway Transport. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Sterling Barnett and Mildred (Hughes) Barnett Short.
He is survived by his sons: Mark Barnett of Huffman, Texas and Billy Barnett Jr. of Tomball, Texas; daughter and son-in-law: Angela Christine and James Owens of Crosby, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronald and Betty Barnett of Cuero, Texas, Donald and Gale Barnett of Cuero, Texas, James and Rita Barnett of Tomball, Texas, and Buford Short of Huffman, Texas; sisters and brother-in-law: Marie Myers of Huffman, Texas, Debra and Billy Schilling of Huffman, Texas; grandson: Patrick James Barnett, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Thomas Underferth
May 10, 1958 - February 5, 2008

Funeral services for Thomas Underferth, age 49, of Livingston, will be were held Friday, February 8, 2008, at Pace Funeral Home, with Rev. Kevin Wood, officiating. Interment will follow in the Ivey Cemetery, in Kennard, Texas.

Thomas was born May 10, 1958 to James and Jacqueline Cherry Matlock, in San Antonio, Texas. He passed away at the Livingston Memorial Health Center, February 5, 2008.

Tomas is survived by his Wife, Pamela Underferth; his Father and Mother, James and Jacquelyn, Step-Mother; Wanera Matlock, two sons; Thomas Underferth and David Underferth, Daughter, Melissa Manuel, two brothers; Jimmy Matlock and Duane Underferth, three sisters; Lora Matlock, Rebekah Daughtry and Kathryn Ramadan, Grandson; Blaine Austin Underferth.Nieces and Nephews; Carmyn Cheyenne Charles, Reigh Lynn Charles, Christina Michelle Miller and Daughter Kaytlin Hope, Joseph Olkiver Loydd Miller, Darren Lee Miller, James Benton Matlock V, James Benton Matlock VI, Jerimiah Brant Matlock, Jordyn Bailey Matlock, William Author Tell Matlock, Jessica Elizabeth Daughtry, Duane Author Underferth II, Brandon Rodgers, Justin Rodgers, Stephen Calloway, Sister-in-law; Mary Rodgers and Beverly Vanderferth, Brother-in-law; David Charles.

Ralph Ray Wallace III
July 27, 1949 - February 1, 2008

Services for Former State Representative Ralph Ray Wallace III will be held at the chapel of the state cemetery Thursday, February 7th with a viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. followed by services at 2:00 p.m. followed by burial in the state cemetery . Representative Wallace was born in Houston, July 27, 1949 and passed away February 1, 2008. As a youngster in Houston he founded the Texas Teen Democratic Party. Ralph was a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and was a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas and a Knight of the Order of San Jacinto. Ralph was the long serving chairman of the house democratic caucus, chairman of the Harris county delegation and represented south east Houston for several legislative terms. Ralph spent the majority of his life working to the benefit of the citizens of Texas. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Williams; sister, Kathy Hunt and husband Doc of Livingston, TX; nephew, Byron Dunaway of Clear Lake, TX; brother, Franklin Wallace and wife Beverly; nephews, Miles and Beau Wallace of Salado, TX; daughter, Jacquelyn Thomas and husband Michael of Dallas, TX; and son, Ralph Ray Wallace IV of Austin, TX. He is survived by Erin & Jay Wheeler, daughter & son in law of Lavon, Texas, Matthew Jones, son of Mesquite, Texas, Timothy Jones, son of Plano, Texas, Doris Jones, mother of Segno, Texas, Jackson Wheeler, grandson, of Lavon, Texas, Joshua Wheeler, grandson, of Lavon, Texas, Kennedy Wheeler, granddaughter of Lavon, Texas, Marsha & Bill Mayhew, sister & brother in law of Segno, Texas and Jane Jones, mother of his children.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Jones, and his brother Thomas Jones.

He was born August 8, 1952, in Baytown, Texas the son of Charles & Doris Gay Jones.

Pallbearers will be Austin Jones, Troy Jones, Brett Jones, Billy Mayhew, Jr., Tex Proctor, Ricky Jones, Matthew Jones, Timothy Jones, and David Eaglin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Burkhard, Cecil Long, Ronnie Bailey, Thomas Bailey, Jerry Glenn Maze, TH Bailey, Rastus Maze, harvey Jones, Johnny Wheeler, Larry Sizemore, Charles Norman Duff, Billy Mayhew, Sr., JL Mays, and Nick Mercadante.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday February, 3, 2008 at 1:30pm at the Holly Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Brackin and Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Janet Boren
May 17, 1912 - January 31, 2008

Funeral services for Janet Boren, age 95, was held Monday, at 11:00 AM, at Pace Funeral Home, With Jim Sherrill officiating. Interment followed at Peebles Cemetery. Mrs. Boren passed away at the Pine Ridge Health Care Center, January 31, 2008. Visitation was from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, before services.

Mrs. Boren was born to Clyde and Ethyl Epps Williams, May 17, 1912 in Grand Prairie, Texas. They precede her in death.

Her survivors are her husband, James Boren of Livingston and formerly of Ropesville, Texas, Her son Jim Boren and wife Kathleen, of Livingston, one sister Mary Lou Wilson of Avenger, Texas, two grandchildren, T.J. Boren and Bryan Boren of Lubbock, Texas.

Pall bearers were T.J. Boren, Bryan Boren and Jim Boren.

She is survived by Bonnie & Otto Howkins, Jr, daughter & son in law of Livingston, Jimmy & Tonda Hawkins, grandson & wife of Rosharon, Don & Tert Hawkins, grandson & wife of Spring, Texas, Julie & Scott Hargraves, granddaughter & husband, of Livingston, Joshua Hawkins, great grandson, of Spring, Justin Hawkins, great grandson, of Rosharon, Brian Riddle, great grandson, of Livingston, and Braden Hargraves, great grandson, of Livingston.

She was born September 10, 1914 in Wortham, Texas, the daughter of James & Virgina Anderson Cashion.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2008 at 9:00am at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Rev. Paul Woodworth officiating. Interment will be in the Wortham Cemetery in Wortham, Texas

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Shirley Pergande of Livingston, Barbara Folsom, daughter of Gun Barrell City, Texas, Phylis & David Davidson, daughter & son in law of Conroe, Connie & George Allison, daughter & son in law of Goodyear, AZ, Gene & Catherine Pergande, son & daughter in law of Livingston, Joe Pergande, son of Fairfield, CA., Renee & Roy Stanley, daughter & son in law, of Crossett AR, Michael & Bonnie Holt, son & daughter in law of Livingston, Jason & Michelle Holt, son & daughter in law of Diboll, Robert & Lorraine Pergande, brother & sister in law, of Winterhaven, FL, 19, grandchildren, 17, great grandchildren and numerous other relatives & friends. He has extended family members in Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Florence Lottman Pergande. He was born May 28, 1928 in Algona, Iowa.

He was a member of the Promise Keepers, the Caring Committee, Intercessory Prayer Group and the East Texas Emmaus Community for 13 years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church in Onalaska, with Rev. Paul G. Whitlatch and Rev. Pam Howard Officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas

She was born November 21, 1941 in Oakdale, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, W.D. & Myrtle Strother McDaniel and Husband, Charles Richards.

Memorial Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 27, 2008 at 2:00pm at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, with Tim Thompson officiating.
