ENLOE

May Bell “Boddie” Enloe, age 88, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2005. She was born in Spring,Texas to Ham Lee and Cordelia Elder on February 8, 1917.

She is survived by her son, Belton Enloe and wife, Janice; grandson Kyle Enloe and wife, Tammy; Two great-grandchildren; Kelsie Enloe and Kasey Enloe, sister, Joyce Armstrong , brother, Tommy Joe Elder.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 21, 2005, 2:00 p.m., Rural Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Dr. Byron Reeves conducted the service with interment at Ryan Cemetery.

HOLIFIELD

Shirley Mae Holifield, age 57, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005 after a long struggle with cancer. She was always so appreciative of the loving care with which she was treated by her numerous doctors and nurses. She was born in Hull, Texas to Jesse James and Virgie Marie Tanner on September 18, 1947.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Holifield; son, Anthony Holifield and wife, Joanna; daughter, Lisa Woods and husband, John; sisters, Marie Wheelus and husband, Tom, Julia Hubbard, Ruby Elmer; brothers, John Tanner, Jimmy Tanner, Richard Tanner; grandchildren, Chet Holifield, Andy Holifield, Tony Holifield, James Woods, John Woods, Jr. and numerous other loving and caring family members and friends.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 22, 2005, 2:00 p.m., at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Melvin Holifield and Bro. Don Vann conducted the heartfelt service.

DULANEY

Myrtle Louise Dulaney, age 62 of Splendora, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005. She was born in Port Lavaca, Texas to Virgil Owen Wesley and Dorothy Berdine Ruddick on April 8, 1942. She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Dulaney; daughter, Cassandra Swetman and husband, Dan of Splendora, Texas, Debora Swearingen and husband, Steve of Conroe, Texas; sisters, Judy Patterson and husband, Ray of Decatur, Texas, Marla Patterson and husband, Ernie of Alvord, Texas, Marilyn Pope and husband, Vernie of North Carolina, Marie Cude of Victoria, Texas; brothers, Vernon Ruddick and wife, Shelba of Alvord, Texas, Edward Ruddick and wife, Elaine of Inez, Texas, Rev. John Ruddick and wife, Theresa of Arkansas, Rev. Dale Ruddick and wife, Cindy of Arkansas, Rev. Everitt Ruddick and wife, Debbie of Victoria, Texas, Donnie Ruddick of Bowie, Texas, Rev. Royce Ruddick and wife, Gail of Alvord, Texas; four grandchildren, Destiny, Rachell, James and Dougy; one great-granddaughter, Brooklynn and numerous other loving and caring family members and friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 24, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at the Splendora Assembly of God Church, Splendora, Texas. Bro. Glen Mead conducted the service with interment at Plum Grove Cemetery, Plum Grove, Texas.

CALOWAY

Mary Frances Lay Caloway, age 77, passed away Monday, March 21, 2005. Mary Frances Caloway was a resident of Splendora, Texas for over 30 years. She was an active and devoted member of the United Baptist Church of Splendora and their Quilting Club. She was a lifetime member of the Cleveland VFW Post 1839, a lifetime member of the New Caney American Legion, a member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by her loving husband, Virgil Henry Caloway of Splendora, Texas; sons, Richard Eugene Lay and wife, Pamela of Navasota, Texas, James Homer Lay of Dickinson, Texas; daughters, Bonnie Ruth Walker and husband, Michael of Cleveland, Texas, Lola Elizzette Surber and husband, Frankie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and six step-children; brothers, Carol Crouch of Sheffield, Alabama, John Crouch and wife, Shorty of Tomball, Texas; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends and her very best friend,
her Chichewa, “Fonzie”.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 25, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Gene Jones conducted the service with interment at Brookside Cemetery, Houston, Texas. Her grandsons served as pallbearers to escorted her to her final resting place, Michael Edward Walker, Joseph Xavier Lay, Mitchell Walker, Curtis Paul Zachary, Robert Alan Lay and Roy Lee Surber.

COLQUITT

Luther Jay Colquitt, age 71 passed away after a long battle with cancer on March 26, 2005. He was born in Wetumka, Oklahoma to George Robert and Dana Josephine Colquitt on March 12, 1934.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 52 years, Dortha Colquitt; daughters, Debbie Haufrect and husband, Dale of Houston, Texas, Robin Lynn Colquitt of Cypress, Texas; son, Dana Colquitt and wife, Dee of League City, Texas; sister, Wanda Brown and husband, Stan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brothers, John Colquitt and wife, Loretta of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Robert Ed Colquitt of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Otto Colquitt and wife, Sue of Old Waverly, Texas; grandchildren, Michael McDaniel and wife, July, Dustin McDaniel, Melissa Maddox, Jullian Colquitt, Audrey Colquitt; great-grandchildren, Zachary Purcell, Cooper McDaniel.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Old Waverly Cemetery, New Waverly, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2005, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

WOODS

Billy Joe Woods, age 80 of Dayton, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2005. He was born in Gladstell, Texas to Grover C. and Lillie Pearl Woods on December 23, 1924. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 in Cannon Company 313th Infantry. He was also was a member of the Tarkington Prairie Masonic Lodge, VFW and Motor Patrol Unit of El Mina Temple in Galveston.

He is survived by his Wife, Ruth Woods of Tarkington Prairie, Texas; Aquired Family, Mark and Sue Gates and their son, Stefan of Tarkington Prairie, Texas; Cousins, Ethel McGinnis Culmer of Houston, Texas, Connie McGinnie Kubosh of Wharton, Texas, David McGinnis of Aledo, Texas, Perlie Hadi of Atascosita, Texas

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2005, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.

SCHAUER

Linda Lee Schauer, age 59 of Cleveland, Texas passed away March 28, 2005. She was born in Houston, Texas to Jack and Sarah Smith on March 22, 1945.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Schauer, sons, Gerald Schauer, Jr. and wife, Dyana, Brian Keith Schauer and wife, Stacy; daughter, Lisa Faye Teal and husband, Claude; fifteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers, Jackie Lee Smith and wife, Deanna, Joe Smith; sisters, Ella Cherry, Diana Keen and husband, Johnnie, Janette Fry and husband, Roy; many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and countless friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 31, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2005, 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home., Cleveland, Texas.

WILSON

Jennie Lee Wilson of Shepherd, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the age of 85. She was born in Carlisle, Texas to Issac Lambert and Nancy Inez Barnett on March 2, 1920.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby Wilson and wife, Lisa of Plantersville, Alabama, C.L. Wilson and wife, Mary Louise of Deming, New Mexico brother, James Barnett and wife, Irma of Crosby, Texas; grandson, Charles Wilson, Eva Garner, Andrew Wilson, Larry Wilson, Dallas Wilson and Cheyna Wilson; niece, Marie Lowe and husband, Mike of Shepherd, Texas; numerous other nieces and nephews and other loving and caring family members and countless friends.

Graveside services were held Thursday, March 31, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas with Bro. David Pate officiating.

WISNIEWSKI

Adam John Wisniewski of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, April 4, 2005 at the age of 67. He was born in Herkimer, New York to Adam and Bertha Wisniewski, Sr. on May 15, 1937 both of whom preceded him in death along with his loving wife, Georgia Wisniewski and his grandson, Bobby James Tew II.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Barkdull and husband, Mike, Linda Tew and husband, Bobby, Monica Carter and husband, Michael, Romona Owen and husband, Rick; grandchildren, John Hohn, Shilo Conley, Jacob Hohn, David Bailey, Melinda Mcleod, Stephanie Trahan,

Dwayne Trahan Jr., Lisa Trahan, Samantha Owen; eight and one-half great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and countless friends.

Graveside services were held Thursday, April 7, 2005, 10:00 a.m., Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas conducted by Rev. Ben Buehl.
