On 15 May 1848, Texas Governor, George T. Wood, signed Patent for land grant to Solomon covering one League and one Labor (4605 acres of land in Limestone County [Robertson District]). When Hill County was formed in 1853, a large part of the grant was in the new county. As a resident of Tyler County, on 26 July 1858, Solomon sold 180 acres in Nacogdoches County to R. P. Wilson. Solomon and his family moved to Limestone County near Mt. Calm in 1859. Tax records indicate this was his residence until his death. Greene, Infant 10-20-1905 son of R. N.& M. C.
