Kenneth Glyn Beasley

Funeral services for Kenneth Beasley, 85 of Ledbetter, Texas, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Rev. Keith Aschenbeck officiating. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.
Mr. Beasley passed away the morning of Monday, September 12, 2011 at St. Mark's Medical Center in La Grange, Texas.
Kenneth Glyn Beasley was born on June 8, 1926 in Gainesville, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy and was united in marriage to Betty Wylder on March 21, 1975 in Houston, Texas. Kenneth was retired from Southern Pacific Railroad and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings. He enjoyed working in his yard and taking care of his garden.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Beasley of Ledbetter as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Ledbetter Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 213, Ledbetter, Texas 78946 or the charity of one's choice.

Erna Winkelman, 88, of Brenham, the widow of Walter Winkelman, died Wednesday, October 2, 2002 in Bluebonnet Hills Care Center in Brenham.
The funeral service for Erna Winkelman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 6, in Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church in Berlin with Pastor Theresa David officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Funeral arrangements for Erna Winkelman are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.

Estela G. Arch, 76, of Burton, the widow of Leland Arch, died Sunday, September 29, 2002 in a San Antonio hospital.
The funeral service for Estela Arch will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham with Father Richard Tijerina officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Funeral arrangements for Estela Arch are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main Street in Brenham.

Elmore Dawes Hanks, 76 of Burton passed away Friday July 28, 2002 at his home after a short battle with cancer.
Elmore Hanks survivors include his wife of 59 years Norma Jean Hanks; son: Rodney Hanks of Burton; daughter: Lennie Gano and husband Rich of Huntsville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters: Bertie Beavers of Shalimar, FL. and Mary Young and husband L.J. of Willis ; brother-in-law: Michael Redman of Lake Charles: and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Elmore D. Ranks will be held at 10:00 am Saturday August 3, 2002 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Bob Hoffmann of Bethany Christian Church of Burton will officiate.
Memorials may be given to Hospice Brazos Valley or The American Cancer Society.

Bessie Renner of Nelsonville, 91, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2002.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday July 28, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. from Nelsonville Brethren Church in Nelsonville with Rev. Michael Groseclose officiating. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Nelsonville.
Bessie Renner is survived by Sons: Kenneth Renner & wife Rosalie of Brenham Wayland Renner & wife Vivian of Bastrop; Sister: Evelyn Lewis of Woodville; Grandchildren: Elizabeth & Todd McGraw; Great-Grandchildren: Kaitlin & Lainie McGraw.
Preceded in death by parents, William & Francis Maresh; Husband, Alfond Renner; Brothers: Alvin, Willie, Ed, & Alfred Maresh; Sisters, Tillie Mikeska, Ella.

Alvin Brinkmeyer, 73, of Brenham, the husband of Hildegard Brinkmeyer, died Sunday in Bryan.
He is survived by his wife, Hildegard Brinkmeyer of Brenham; son and daughter-­in-law, Koy and Tiffany Brinkmeyer of Brenham; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Otis Adler of Brenham; 4 grandchildren, Zechariah Brinkmeyer, Rachael Kelley, Michael Adler and Meri-Anne Allen and husband Alex; sisters and brothers-in-Jaw, Anita and Alvin Thielemann of Bryan and Laverne and Richard Blasingame of Brenham; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Patricia Brinkmeyer of Belton; and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Verla Brinkmeyer of Wellington, Kansas, Waldine Brinkmeyer of Brenham, Lydia Schroeder of Bleiblerville, Mabel Winkelmann of Bleiblerville and Dolores and Lilburn Meier of Brenham.
The funeral service for Alvin Brinkmeyer will be held at 10:30 am. Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church of Salem with Pastor Bill Derrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Herman George Zender, 83 of Bellville passed away on July 29, 2002.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2002 at 11:00 AM. From St. John Lutheran Church, 520 N. Holland in Bellville, Texas with Rev. Ross Worch officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville. TX.

AMANDA KRENEK SKLAR, age 25 years, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday from St. John’s Catholic Church in Fayetteville with Father Jack Maddux officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A Parish Rosary will be recited at the Knesek Chapel in Fayetteville, Wednesday at 6 P.M.
Amanda Krenek Sklar is survived by: Her husband: Edward Paul Sklar of New Ulm; Parents Frank J. Krenek III & Evelyn M. Krenck of Fayetteville; Brother Doug Krenck and Sister Robin Krenek both of Fayetteville; Grandparents Gracie Sabo of Smithville and George Malek of Fayetteville; her Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law: Ed & Luci Sklar of Lone Oak; A special Aunt & uncle: Robert & Pam Malek of Houston along with other aunts & uncles; Rudy & Cindy Malek of New Ulm, Ellie Williams of Austin; and George & Tuddy Henneke of Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.

Michael Gans age 50 died Wednesday, July 30, 2002.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Gans of Brenham; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Patricia Gans of Katy; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Joe Boyd of Houston; 3 nephews, Dustyn Boyd, Ryan Boyd and Sean Cans; niece, Caitlin Cans; aunt and uncle, Betty and Dave, Venable and family of Silver Spring, Maryland.
The Gans family will receive friends at Brenham Memorial Chapel from 12:00 o’clock noon until service time on Saturday, A memorial service for Michael Gans will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2002 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Alma Peters
Alma Peters, 92 of Brenham died Monday, June 3, 2002 in Brenham Rest Home.
Survivors include her son Glen E. Peters and wife Claire of Brenham; granddaughter Carol Hartley of Brenham, Glenda Peters-Do and husband Tu of Corpus Christi, Andrea Pena and husband Jimmy of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Step-granddaughters Debra deDonodo of Tacoma, Washington, Helene Sokol and husband Bill of South Windsor, Connecticut; she was blessed with numerous great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 6th at 2:00 p.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine. Rev. Teresa Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer St., Brenham 836-3611.
