Sylvia Linda (Leibscher) Felscher, age 83, and the wife of Woodville Felscher, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 in Austin Heart Hospital, Austin, Texas.
Sylvia Felscher is survived by her husband Woodville Felscher; sisters Joyleen Felscher and Alice Stepanek; sister-in-law Cora Nell Leibscher and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the Felscher family will be from 5-7 pm, tonight, Friday, November 16 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral service for Sylvia Felscher will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 10:00 am in Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church with Rev. Jim Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church.
Services are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer St., Brenham. 979.836.3611.

Olan Curtis Seale, 87, husband of Walline L. (Studhalter) Seale, died peacefully on November 13, 2012 in Brenham Rest Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with burial to follow in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Gay Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Carl, Earl, Jude, and Grady Seale, and sisters, Ada Cope, Mary Cope, and Annie Mae Ferguson, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Otto and Clara Studhalter, as well as brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alvin and Adeline Studhalter.
Survivors include his loving wife, Walline Seale of Brenham; son Curtis Seale of Channelview; daughter Cathy and Stephen Mallon, both of Alba, TX.; grandchildren: Patrick and wife Carrie McMillan, Bryan Seale, Christopher Seale, and wife Casey, Julie Williams and husband Lyle; great-grandchildren: Macee, Emma and Harper McMillan, Caden and Trevor Stewart, Summer Seale, Kendyll Williams, and Ryleigh Seale; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Milton Haack, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws Edwin and Annie Mae Studhalter, and Edward and Judy Studhalter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements for Olan Seale are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.

Ben Woodrow Woehst, 99, of Bellville passed away, November 10, 2012. Graveside service will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 10am in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Bellville followed by a memorial service at 11am at Bellville United Methodist Church with Rev. Amy Harlson officiating.
Ben Woehst is survived by his wife, Alice Repka Woehst, three daughters: Carolyn Derkowski, Rose Repka DeBlieux and husband John, and Cynthia Chavers. Grandchildren: Lisa Hicks, Robert Mark Derkowski, Susan Derkowski, Cindy Derkowski, Jessica Sieberling. Great-grandchildren: Tyler Flynt, Ashton Flynt, Alice Derkowski, Mikchael Derkowski, Charles Derkowski, Brian Hicks and Kimberly Hicks. Great- great-grandchildren: Chase and Emmitt Phelps, Broderick and Brooklyn Burns.

Patricia “Pat” Ann (Smith) Klussmann, 57, of Brenham, the wife of Wayne Klussmann, died on November 11, 2012, after a short and courageous battle with cancer at Scott & White Hospital of Brenham, surrounded by friends and family. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn, with Pastors Jeffery King, and Gilbert Franke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday November 13, at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include her husband Melvin Wayne Klussmann, daughters and sons-in-law; Sharon and Jeff Schwartz of Brenham, Robin and John See, III of Snook, and Megan and Christian Fridye of Brenham, sister and brother-in-law: Cathy and Richard Wilde of Boonsboro, Maryland, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Raymond and Gloria Ann Klussmann of Brenham, Randy and Lois Klussmann of Brenham, sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Rosemary and Bobby Thornton of Dobbins, grandchildren; Hanna and Logan Schwartz, Carlee, Natalee, William and Wesley See, her beloved puppy Abby, honorary son and daughter-in-law; Wade and Mandy Collins of Chanute, Kansas, honorary mom; Edna Driver of Spring, honorary grandchildren; Sage and Lawson Collins and special friends; Melvin and Shirley Ashorn, John and Susan Karbowski, Sheryl Schroeder, Lynn Van Eman, Blue Bell family, and William Penn Crew. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.

John Hermann, 77, widower of Gladys Kramer Hermann, died November 8, 2012 in Brenham Nursing and Rehab Center in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 in Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn, with Pastor Jeffrey King officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
John was born January 20, 1935 in Brenham to Louis and Matilda Kaechler Hermann. He was baptized in Friedens United Church of Christ in Gay Hill, and attended the Rocky Hill School. John was married to Gladys Kramer on Dec. 6, 1958 in Brenham. A member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn, he worked for Brentex Mills for a number of years, and was later employed by the Steadley Co. for over 30 years as a forklift operator.
Survivors include sons Benjamin Hermann of Brenham; daughters Gladys Vordenbaum and husband Philip of Pasadena, and Jarnette Morris and husband David of Houston; grandchildren: Jaime Morris, Alyssa Vordenbaum, Kayla Morris, Cody Vordenbaum, and Ronnie Morris; sisters Hattie Dallmeyer of Brenham and Annie Malke of Burton. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward, and several brothers who died in infancy.
Serving as pallbearers are Philip Vordenbaum, David Morris, Banjamin Hermann, Cody Vordenbaum, Ronnie Morris, and Donald Lee Lampe. Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn.

Kermit Kinney “Koy” Teufel, 90, husband of Lorraine Teufel, died November 8, 2012 in Scott & White Hospital in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, with Pastor Dale Chance officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Industry, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Teufel of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Amy Teufel of Houston; and sister-in-law, Ella Mae Teufel of Brenham. Special caregivers were Pedro and Yolanda DeLeon, Mary McCullough, Tracey Heard and Maria Lara.

Alice Hafner, 89, widow of Rudolph John Hafner, died November 7, 2012 in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
Funeral services for Alice Hafner are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham with Rev. Jack Meeker officiating. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Garden of Memories in El Campo, Texas. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on Saturday, November 10th from 5 until 7 p.m.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Betty Hafner of Brenham and Mark and Debi Hafner of Leeds, Alabama; daughters and sons-in-law Susan and Mason Hiatt of Springville, Utah and Dorothy Jean and Roland Gilliam of Huntsville, Texas; grandchildren Kyle and Jamie Hafner, Lindsey and Joe Williams, Megan and John Cortines, Seth Hiatt and Seanne Hiatt; great-grandchild Mallie Williams; brother and sister-in-law Bob and Gay Nell Blackstone of Huntsville, Texas; sister Josie Bailey of Austin, Texas. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers and sisters.

Willie A. Schwarze, 84, husband of Shirley Weiss Schwarze, died November 7, 2012, in Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center.
Funeral Services for Willie A. Schwarze are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Salem with Pastor Charles Parnell officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Weiss Schwarze and son and daughter-in-law William Bradley and Lesia Schwarze of Bellville; brothers and sisters-in law Louis Jr. and Maxine Schwarze of Brenham, Leroy Schwarze of Houston, Lonnie and Joyce Schwarze of Corpus Christi; sisters Ruth Rodenbeck, Helen Rodenbeck, and Verlin Grimm of Brenham, Bernice Bates of Houston; sister-in-law Vondale Schwarze of DeRidder, Louisiana; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Peggy and Doc Klingle of Brenham, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Donald and Norma Weiss of Brenham. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edward and Calvin, brothers-in-law Gilbert and Alfred Rodenbeck and sister-in-law Rita Schwarze.

Lucille Alma (Koerth) Eberhardt, 87, widow of Armond “Nooky” Eberhardt, died November 6, 2012 in Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg, with Pastor Denise Seymour officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton.
Survivors include her son, Tim Eberhardt of Houston; daughters Jennie Simpson and husband Jerry of Grapevine, JoAnn Hundemer and husband Mark of Burton, and Judy Eberhardt of Burton ; grandchildren Justin Simpson, Jardin Simpson, Sarah Hundemer and special friend, Robert McKeown, and Haley and Bryan Folsom, and a sister, Lorena Boehnemann of Burton. Other surviving relatives include sister-in-law Dorothy Eberhardt, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Armond Eberhardt; brothers Lorenz Koerth and William “Junebug” Koerth; a brother and sister who died in infancy; brothers-in-law Leslie Boehnemann, Sr., Arnold Eberhardt, Erwin Eberhardt; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lawrence and Lola Jean Eberhardt, and Wilfred and Mary Eberhardt.

Glen Earl Pohlmeyer, 82, husband of Geraldine (Schwartz) Pohlmeyer, died November 4, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn, with Pastor Jeffrey King officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Pohlmeyer; son and daughter-in-law Gerald D. Pohlmeyer and Lisa of Georgetown; daughters Glenda Denise Chalk and husband Steve of Katy; Gail Destry Pohlmeyer and special friend Mark Kopycinski of Brenham; grandchildren: Nathan C. Pohlmeyer and wife Sarah, Jarrod T. Pohlmeyer and wife Taylor, and Erin Marie Bower; great-grandchildren: Eli Grayson and Zachary Cole Pohlmeyer; sister, Vernell Gaddy of Brenham, ; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Edgar and Sandra Schwartz, Milton Schwartz, Kenneth and Marie Schwartz, Edward Schwartz, Gloria Ann and Raymond Klussmann, and Trenton Dean Schwartz, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, W. C. and Bertha Pohlmeyer, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry R. and Lydia Schwartz.

Elverda Draehn Kiecke, 81, and the widow of Howard Kiecke, died October 27, 2012 at Scott and White Hospital, Brenham.
Elverda Draehn Kiecke is survived include daughters and sons-in-law Sharion and Robert Tanner of Pflugerville and Marilyn “Susie” and Randy Ullrich of Brenham and son and daughter-in-law Val and Libby Kiecke of Brenham; grandchildren Bethny and Matt Klepac, Brice and J.J. Olivier, Adam and Lauren Kiecke, Aaron Kiecke, Rachel Kiecke, Abby and Jeraid Wood, Jeremy and Amanda Ullrich and Remy Clay; great-grandsons Alexander Olivier and Ryland Klepac; brother-in-law and wife Elroy and Jeanette Kiecke.
Visitation with the Kiecke family will be from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, October 31, at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services for Elverda Kiecke will be held on Thursday, November 1, at 2 pm at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Toby Burk presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to Salem Lutheran Church Seminary Fund, Lutheran World Relief or a favorite charity.

Gladys Bernice (Blaschke) Warmke, of Bleiblerville, Texas, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at Oak Haven Assisted Living in Industry, Texas, shortly after celebrating her 100th birthday.
