Linda Faithauer, 79, of Brenham the wife of Herbert Faithauer died January 31, 2007.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Thursday, February 1, at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday, February 2, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main Street, Brenham.
Tekla Wensel Wiesepape, age 89 of Brenham and the widow of Martin Wiesepape, Sr. passed away January 20, 2007.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 22, 5:30-7:30 pm in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2 pm, in Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Salem. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1500 Salem Rd., Brenham, TX 77833

Edwin A. Bethke, 83, of Burton, died January 21, 2007.
The family will receive friends and relatives Monday, January 22, from 6-8 pm at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. The funeral service will be held at 3 pm Tuesday, January 23 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Burton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Foehner Funeral Home in Burton.

Bettie Garrett, 100, of Brenham, the widow of George Wade Garrett, died January 24, 2007.
Visitation will begin at 10 am, Saturday, January 27, at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11 am Saturday, at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial in the HIC Cemetery in Brenham.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.

Harry Wittneben, 78, of Bellville, the husband of Doris Wittneben, passed away November 3, 2005 at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 6 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jennie Jones and Pastor David Henske officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Knoll Cemetery. In lieu of usual remembrances, friends who wish may make memorial gifts to St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville or to the Bellville Hospital Auxiliary.

Monroe Fred Tockhorn, 76, of Brenham, the husband of Mary Louise Tockhorn, passed away October 30, 2005 in Trinity Medical Center.
The Tockhorn family will receive friends Tuesday, November 1, from 5-7 pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services are being held at 10 am Wednesday, November 2, in Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville. Rev. David Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church building fund or charity of choice.

Evelyn Yarter, 82, of Burton, died October 29, 1005 in Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center in Brenham.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, November 2, in Memorial Oaks Chapel with Rev. Glen Schoeneberg officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.

Elsie Alma Kaptchinskie, 88, formerly of Brenham, the widow of Stanley Kaptchinskie, died October 29, 2005 in Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Huntsville.
The funeral mass will be 10 am Tuesday, November 1 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham, with Father Benedict Zinteck, Celebrant. A Rosary will be held Monday, October 31, in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, November 1 at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., Brenham.

Alvin "Rock" Hueske, 85 of Brenham, passed away May 24, 2005 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
Funeral service will be held at 4 pm, Thursday, May 26 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jason Korthauer will officiate. Burial will follow in Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery of Welcome. Memorials may be given to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome Cemetery Fund.

Miladin Djordjevic, 81, of Brenham, died May 24, 2005 in Brenham Rest Home.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 25 in Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. A graveside service will be at 11:00 am Friday, May 27 in the Most Holy Mother of God Monastery Cemetery in Grayslake, Illinois.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.

Minnie Klussmann, 89, of the William Penn Community, passed away May 16, 2005 in Brenham Rest Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, May 19 in Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her family requests memorials to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Don Billy Manning
(April 10, 1934 - December 30, 2011)
Funeral services for Don Manning, 77 of Alvin, Texas, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings, Texas with Rev. Robert Tiner officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
Don Billy Manning was born on April 10, 1934 to Earlie & Kate (Williams) Manning in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was retired from the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where he had been employed as an area manager. Don was a former member of the Rotary Club and had served as a Deacon with the Church of Christ for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, yard work and camping.
Don passed away during the early morning hours of Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas following an extended illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Katie Pearl Bryan and a brother, Ivon Manning.
Don is survived by his two sons, Ron & Jaime Manning of Giddings and Chris Manning of Bryan; two grandsons, Deacon Manning and Mason Manning both of Giddings; three sisters, Mary Lou Breazeale of Lake Jackson, Joyce Knowles of Southhaven, Mississippi and Sarah Warren of Philadelphia, Mississippi; a brother, Jerry Manning of Brandon, Mississippi; the mother of their sons, Shirley Manning of Giddings as well as several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Morgan, Matt Taylor, Rory Morgan, Milburn Breazeale, Michael Taylor, Jim Morgan and Gerald Morgan.
Don's family would like express their thanks to Mike & Janie Taylor and their family for their friendship, care and concern for Don during the past several years.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284-1125, the American Diabetes Association, 2499 Capital of Texas Highway South, Bld. A, Suite 204, Austin, TX 78746 or the charity of one's choice.
