IOWA PARK - Doris Good Johnson, 77, of Iowa Park died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, in Wichita Falls.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Church of Christ with Jeff Ratliff, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.
Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 12, 1921, in Wichita Falls. She and Albert Johnson Jr. were married Aug. 6, 1938, in Frederick, Okla. He died Dec. 23, 1989. She was a lifetime resident of Iowa Park. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Dockman of Wichita Falls and Kate Wright of Iowa Park; two sisters, Martha Dennis and Edna Good, both of Wichita Falls; her father, Raymond Good of Iowa Park; four granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
Monroe M. 'Dave' Enns
Monroe M. 'Dave' Enns, 57, of Wichita Falls died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Christian wake will be held at 7 p.m. today at Hampton Vaughan Downtown Chapel. Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Ivor Koch, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Mr. Enns was born Nov. 26, 1940, in Hillsboro, Kan. He had served in the Air Force and the Navy. He taught at Wichita Falls High School for 16 years and was a member of the Teacher Organization and the Kee Club. He was a lifetime resident of Wichita Falls and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Navinsky of Wichita Falls; two sons, Mark of Hurst, Texas, and Matt of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Laura Schroeder of San Antonio; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Bartel of Lehigh, Kan.; two sisters, Charlotte Rittenhouse of Leavenworth, Kan., and Cheryl Kirby of Golden, Colo.; a brother, Jerry Bartel of Golden, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Dave Enns Scholarship Fund at Wichita Falls High School.
Bessie Sue Reamy
Bessie Sue Gallagher Reamy, 54, of Oklahoma City died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, in Oklahoma City.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Burkburnett Cemetery with the Rev. Jess Peek, pastor of Hatton Road Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reamy was born Oct. 3, 1943, in Shreveport, La. She was a nurses aide. She had been a longtime resident of Wichita Falls before moving to Oklahoma City six months ago.
Survivor include her husband, Charles S. of Oklahoma City; two sons, John Gallagher III and Mark Gallagher, both of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Diana Harris of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Dorothy Gray of Wichita Falls and Coeta Shamburger of Dallas; and three grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today.
Blanche Covy Möller
Blanche Covy Möller, 82, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998, in Austin.
Wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Hampton Vaughan Downtown Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Mrs. Möller was born April 11, 1916, in Trinidad, Colo. She and Albert V. Möller Jr. were married May 3, 1947, in Denver. She grew up in Pueblo, Colo., and Denver. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church Altar Society prior to the establishment of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church parish. After the inauguration of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, she was a member of the St. Francis Circle and active in the Altar Society of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, serving as its president in 1962 and 1963. She also participated in The St. Vincent De Paul Society. She was a nursing home administrator in the Wichita Falls area between 1972 and 1976.
Survivors include four daughters, Jeanne Marie Burkey of St. Louis, Catherine Solomon of Austin, Pamela Arlene Simpson of Wichita Falls and Rebecca Scherek of Philadelphia; a son, Jon Albert of Wichita Falls; a sister, Lee Smith of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maryknoll Charities.
Lucyle T. Gosler
ARCHER CITY, Texas - Lucyle T. Gosler, 61, of Archer City died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Aulds Funeral Home with Roger Deerinwater, pastor of First Baptist Church of Archer City, officiating. Burial will be in Archer City Cemetery.
Mrs. Gosler was born May 27, 1937, in Megargel, Texas. She and Jolly Gosler were married Dec. 18, 1958, in Archer City. He died Aug. 16, 1982. She was a lifetime resident of Archer County and had lived in Archer City since 1958. She worked for First State Bank in Archer City and Windthorst, Texas, National Bank. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Archer City.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorcyle Hoff of Archer City and Kelly of Olney, Texas; a sister, Dorothy Davis of Archer City; two brothers, Dave Tatum of Megargel and Charles Tatum of Bandon, Ore.; and two grandsons.

Suzanne Stringer
GRAND SALINE, Texas - Suzanne Stringer, 42, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, in her Grand Saline residence.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Broad Street Church of Christ in Mineola with Lee Peters and Steven Neville officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stringer was born April 28, 1956, in Hobart, Okla. She and her husband, Bob Stringer, had been married for 23 years. She received her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Stephen F. Austin University and her master's degree in early childhood development from Texas A&M University, Commerce. She was an elementary school teacher for more than 20 years, teaching in George West for two years and Grand Saline Independent School District for the past 19 years. She was recognized as the teacher of the year in 1995 in Grand Saline. She was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Her father, Kenneth Ray Seigler, died Sept. 17, 1974. A brother, Kenneth Ray Seigler II, died Jan. 10, 1996.
Survivors include her husband; her mother and step-father, Floy and Wilse Edwards of Olney, Texas; two sons, Philip and Jeff, both of Grand Saline; a daughter, Erin Stringer of Grand Saline; three brothers, David Seigler of Urbana, Ill., Karl Seigler of Wichita Falls and Richard Seigler of Madison, Miss.; four sisters, Meleese Seigler of Austin, Jeanie Crosthwait of Shallowater, Texas, Babette Coles of Rowlett, Texas, and Kamille Ferguson of Olney, Texas; and one step-sister, Marnell Marone of Olney, Texas.

BOWIE, Texas - Jean Green, 71, of Bowie died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, in a Bowie hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Burgess-Fry-Owens-Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Tucker, pastor of Bible Way Mission in Nocona, Texas, and the Rev. L.V. Shaw, a retired Holiness minister of Montague, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in Selma Cemetery in Bowie.
Mrs. Green was born Nov. 5, 1926, in Memphis, Tenn. She and G.C. Green were married Feb. 21, 1952, in Bowie. He died Feb. 17, 1991. She was a homemaker and had lived in Bowie for 50 years. She attended Bible Way Mission in Nocona. A daughter, Christy, died in August 1984.
Survivors include two sisters, Peggy and Betty Tucker, both of Bowie; a half-brother, Douglas Harrison of Henrietta, Texas; and her step-mother, Etta Harrison of Henrietta.
Roy Wygal
CHILDRESS, Texas - Roy Wygal, 90, of Childress died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Childress with the Rev. Ivan Allen, a retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Tell, Texas, Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Mr. Wygal was born Feb. 28, 1908 in Greenville, Texas. He married his wife Hazel on Dec. 29, 1941, in Hollis, Okla. She died April 25, 1998. He was a member of Tell Methodist Church, and was active in the Tell community. He served as Childress County commissioner Tell precinct, as Tell bus driver and volunteered much of his time each year toward the annual Tell reunion. He at one time worked for the Farm Bureau and owned Roy Wygal Insurance Agency.
Survivors include two sisters, Joyce Moseley of Childress and Oleta Dezonia of Holly Hill, Fla.
I.D. 'Piney' Eiland
SEYMOUR, Texas - I.D. 'Piney' Eiland, 85, of Mabelle, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, in a Seymour hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Seymour with John Gaither and the Rev. Glenn Shock, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Seymour Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Eiland was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Shannon, Texas. He and Mary Rollans were married Feb. 9, 1936, in Antelope, Texas. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Force. He moved to Baylor County, Texas, in 1943, where he was a farmer and rancher in the Mabelle community for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seymour.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jane Gill of Montalba, Texas; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Kenneth Ellis
LUBBOCK, Texas - Kenneth Ellis, 80, of Lubbock died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, in a Claude, Texas, nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Berry Tilley, pastor of Family Cornerston Church, officiating.
Mr. Ellis was born Nov. 2, 1917, in Wichita County. He and Lena Hudson were married Dec. 2, 1939, in Wichita Falls. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, was a self-employed paint contractor and had been a resident of Lubbock since 1947. He was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Clifford Ellis of Claude, Texas; three brothers, Jackie and Billy Glen Ellis both of Bowie, Texas, and Tom Ellis of Calif.; a sister, Gerane Russel of Odessa, Texas; five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Jerry Tomanek
SEYMOUR, Texas - Jerry Tomanek, 84, of Seymour died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in a Seymour hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with A.B. Martin officiating. Burial will be in SPJST Cemetery.
Mr. Tomanek was born Dec. 5, 1913, in Gilliland, Texas. He and Mary Neuman were married Aug. 21, 1941, in Anson, Texas. He farmed for many years in Gilliland and moved to Seymour in 1988. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and was a member and past vice president of the Farm Bureau. He was a member of the SPJST Lodge. He was the Baylor County Agriculture Day Miller-Brazos Soil and Water Conservationist District Conservationist of the Year in 1994. He had served on the Gilliland School Board. A son, Jerry James, died Sept. 22, 1988.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jane Coody of Seymour and Ann Southall of Vernon, Texas; a sister, Annie Fojtik of Ft. Cobb, Okla.; a brother, Edmund of Truscott, Texas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Lucille Savage
Lucille Savage, 83, of Wichita Falls died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, in Wichita Falls.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Young and Company Funeral Home with the Rev. W.O. Everett, pastor of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Savage was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Moody, Texas. She had lived in Honey Grove, Texas, before moving to Wichita Falls 32 years ago. She was a domestic technician and a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruby Lee Smith of Wichita Falls; a brother, Aaron Davis Jr. of Dallas; and two sisters, Pauline Huddleston of Wichita Falls and Veda Steveson of Honey Grove.

BURKBURNETT - Bobby Lewis, 65, of Marana, Ariz., died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, in Springerville, Ariz.

Mr. Lewis was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Pawnee, Okla. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Air Force. He was the secretary of the horse racing of racing commission of Arizona.

CHILDRESS, Texas -- Robson Townsend, 92, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Lubbock, Texas.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Childress Cemetery with Bill Sager of Childress officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Townsend was born May 11, 1906, in Blythe, England. She and Dr. S.H. Townsend were married in 1927 in New Orleans. She was a 1925 graduate of Orleans Parish High School. She was head of the Red Cross during World War II. She was honored by President Harry Truman and the American Red Cross for Meritorious Personal Service during World War II. She was a member of Presbyterian Church of Childress.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann of Lubbock; a son, John Galen of Las Cruces, N.M.; a brother, Jack E. Robson of Burlington, Ontario; and three grandchildren.
Julia Leo Tillerson
ABILENE, Texas - Julia Leo Tillerson, 92, a longtime resident of Wichita Falls, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Abilene.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Lamar Baptist Church in Wichita Falls with Deacon C.C. Hayley officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tillerson was born April 11, 1906, in Concho County, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Wichita Falls and a 76-year member of Lamar Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Bob of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 5-6:30 p.m. today.

MARYSVILLE, Wash. -- Jacqueline Shari Brewer, 62, of Arlington, Wash., died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998, in Everett, Wash.

Mrs. Brewer was born Aug. 18, 1936, in Stafford, Kan. She and Robert R. Brewer were married Dec. 4, 1955.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Austin of Monroe, Wash., and Travis and Devin, both of Arlington; and three grandchildren.

Betty Castle Cox
Betty Castle Cox, 74, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, in a local hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hampton Vaughan Downtown Chapel with Deacon Dick Arndt officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox was born Dec. 7, 1923, in Arcadia, Calif. She and Jack L. Cox were married in 1943 in Salt Lake City. He died in 1968. She was a member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association where she was on the All American Women's trapshooting team for three years during the 1950s. She and her husband won the National Husband and Wife Championship in 1956. She was also the state's women's champion several times. She volunteered at both local hospitals. She was a past member of the Wichita Falls 99s Association for lady pilots and she obtained her pilot's license in 1969. She was a also a member of the local Ladies Bowling Association. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Neises of Burkburnett and Susan Wainscott of Wichita Falls; two sons, Jack of Wichita Falls and Jim of San Diego; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today for visitation.

Hazel Ruth King
ELECTRA -- Hazel Ruth King, 84, of Odell, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Electra.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Klappenbach, pastor, and the Rev. Jim Belcher Jr., minister, of Abilene, Texas.
Mrs. King was born March 26, 1914, in Odell, Texas. She and Cecil King were married June 27, 1947, in Torrence, Calif. She was a registered nurse in the Cadet Corps in World War II. She was a graduate of Vernon High School and a 1931 graduate of Harris College of Nursing. She was a 1947 graduate of Texas Christian University. She worked in the training Union Departments. She was the coordinator of nurseries, a member of Shriners Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary. She was a member of the Living Donor Bank and a volunteer at the Blood Bank. A son, Jerry King, died May 20, 1979.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Jim Belcher Sr. of Abilene, Texas; a nephew, Dr. Jim Belcher Jr. Of Abilene; a niece, Lane Kingcade of Wichita Falls; two great-nephews; and a great-niece.
Memorials may be made to the Handicapped, Heart or Diabetes Research.
