SCHULZ, Ruth Margaret, 90, of Estill Springs, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Harton Regional Medical Center, Tullahoma. She was born June 30, 1915 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late John Vincent Jellison and Annabelle Niederhofer Jellison Siemer. Ruth was a homemaker, a gifted self-taught artist, seamstress, cook, gardener, and avid fisherman who raised her family in Cincinnati, Ohio. She and her husband Roy Ernst Schulz moved to their lakefront home in Estill Springs in 1976 upon retirement from the Cincinnati Fire Department. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; a brother Jack Jellison, and a sister, Gayle Jellison Jackson, both of Cincinnati. She is survived by a son, Roy James (Susan) Schulz, Tullahoma; daughter, Wendy Vartiainen (Brad) Calrow, Cape Coral, Fla.; grandson, Stefan August (Candace) Shulz, Lexington, Ky.; granddaughter, Eve Schulz (Patrick) Reinert, Kissimmee, Fla.; a sister, Annabelle Jellison Fisher, Cincinnati, Ohio; and brother, James (Millie) Jellison, also of Cincinnati. NORTHAM, David L., 59, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Extended Care in Chattanooga. He was a TVA associate engineer and U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam era. TURNBO, Clifford D., 72, of Smyrna, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. A Clifton native, he was the son of the late Thomas Turnbo and Inez Wheat Turnbo. He was a self-employed mechanic. He was married to the late Virginia Cussins Turnbo. He is survived by two sons, Dale Turnbo, LaVergne, Steve Turnbo, Murfreesboro; three daughters, Debbie Menefee, Smyrna, Donna Ward, Oklahoma City, Okla., Lori Gipson, Lewisburg; one brother, Leland Turnbo, Hendersonville; seven grandchildren. TERRY, Estelle Tarrant, 84, of Tullahoma, passed on Friday, April 21, 2006, at Harton Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Charlie G. and Lucille Stokes Tarrant, Winchester. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Terry Sr.; daughter, Minnie Sue Terry Daniel, two sons, James E. Terry and Emmett Jr.; and granddaughter, Jennifer Terry Warner. Survivors include a daughter, Emma L. Terry, Tullahoma; two grandsons, Jeffery C. Terry and Dino Daniel, Tullahoma; four great-grandchildren, Russell McDonald and Melvin McDonald, Cookeville; Jonason Daniel, Tullahoma, Tiffany Warner, San Antonio, Texas; niece, Evelyn Taylor, Antioch; foster sons, Frank (Phyllis) Christman, Murfreesboro, and Harvey Leon (Melvalene) Christman, Waco, Texas; a special granddaughter, Regina (Tommy) Gray, Tullahoma; 'adopted' daughters and sons, Gladys and Rev. Elvy Davis, Tullahoma, and Linda Faye and Rev. Chris Grizzard Sr., Lynchburg; aunt, Frances Eskridge, Memphis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many devoted friends. MIDDLETON, Jeanette Hughes, 49, of Tullahoma, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. Middleton was born in San Antonio, Texas, daughter of Frank and Joan Hughes Diaz, who survive. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Steven Middleton, and daughter, Danielle Middleton, both of Tullahoma; two brothers, Frank Diaz Jr. and Michael Diaz, both of San Antonio, Texas, and a sister, Terry Grillo, Summerville, S.C. HONEA, James William, 74, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006. A native of Lincoln County, he was a retired U.S. Air Force staff sergeant; a Vietnam War veteran; a V.F.W. member; and attended Bible Presbyterian Church of Shelbyville. He was the son of the late Clay and Edna Berryhill Honea. He also was preceded in death by a stepson, David Warner; and two grandchildren, Chad Williams and Renee Winfrey. WILLIS, Kathleen Garner, 81, of Sherwood, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at Health Center at Standifer. A native of Sherwood, she was retired from Lanier Clothing and was the wife of the late J.D. FRAZIER, Velma Sue Rigney, 67, of Manchester, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at Harton Regional Medical Center. She was a Coffee County native and retired seamstress. Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with burial in Welker Cemetery. Coffee County Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

CHAPMAN, Alice Ebert, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, died peacefully April 8, 2006, in Renton, Wash., with family at her side. She was 98 years old and had lived in south King County for 34 years. She was born Dec. 1, 1907, to Charles and Anna Ebert in Milwaukee, Wis. Her younger years were spent in Wisconsin and Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota and the University of North Dakota. She was a 75-year member of Pi Beta Phi. On June 23, 1928, she married Florizel 'Jim' Chapman. They lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Tennessee and raised two daughters and a son. For many years Alice was active in Eastern Star and League of Women Voters. Friends and family enjoyed her quick wit and inquiring mind. She was a staunch Republican and had a lifelong interest in politics. Her husband, Jim, died in 1965 after which Alice moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and later to Kent, Wash., to be near her youngest daughter. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Haney of Tullahoma and Judith Whitehead; son, Dr. Roderick Chapman; grandsons, Kimball (Betsy) Bergerud and Belleville (Lori) Whitehead III; granddaughters, Judith (Gary) Liddington, Jill-Anne Owen, Kristen Bergerud, Laurie (Stef) Chapman, Holly (Mitch) Knitzer and Jennifer Chapman; great-grandchildren, Tammy (Jim) Williamson, Summer and Heather Liddington, Sylvia Bergerud, Ian Kubik, Philip and Rachel Owen, Allegra and Lincoln Knitzer, Nicolas and William Baer; one great-great-granddaughter, Rebecca William-son, and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Alice's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at St. James Episcopal Church in Kent. WAGONER, Charles L., 72, of Tullahoma, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Emory Adventist Hospital in Smyrna, Ga. Born in Canton, Ohio, on Feb. 27, 1934, he was the son of the late Frank and Olga Wright Wagoner. He was an active member of the Lutheran Church for many years. He was a graduate of Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He retired after 32 years as a research chemist with Babcock and Wilcox Research Center in Alliance, Ohio. He was the recipient of the R.A. Glenn Award for many years of service to the American Society of Testing and Materials. He continued his career for seven years at the University of Tennessee Space Institute in Tullahoma in the fuel conversion section and served briefly as head of the Chemistry Department. An avid photographer throughout his life, he established the Canton Color Service with his father in earlier years. He was a radio-controlled model airplane enthusiast and competed in many pattern flying events. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Brunn Wagoner; two daughters, Dr. Mary Lynn Wagoner and Linda Wagoner Cosler; son-in-law, Gary L. Cosler; and two granddaughters, Jenni and Melissa, Kennesaw, Ga. Private services were held on Friday, April 14, 2006, at St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Marietta, Ga., with Pastor Ronald Grunke officiating. DAVIS, Ed, 90, of Manchester, died Thursday, April 27, 2006, at United Regional Medical Center. A native of McMinnville native, he was a farmer and former AEDC machinist. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he earned the Purple Heart. He was the husband of Edna Davis. Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with burial in Manchester City Cemetery. Coffee County Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

MORRIS, Tamara Dawn, 30, of Decherd, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at Southern Tennessee Medical Center. She was a Winchester native and cosmetologist.
