Mrs. Brenda Kay Sargent, 42, of Newnan died Dec. 9, 1996 at Newnan Hospital.
Born July 14, 1954 in Tennessee, Mrs. Sargent was the daughter of the late Charlene M. (Dickinson) Debusk. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services were held Dec. 12 at McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Duncan officiating. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with her brothers serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen P. Sargent of Newnan; father, Ralph E. Debusk of Knoxville, Tenn.; daughter, Kathy Sargent of Newnan; brothers, Gary Lee Debusk, Ralph E. Debusk Jr., Jeffery K. Debusk, Gregory W. Debusk, all of Knoxville; and sisters, Cathy Hurst of Newnan, Debbie Jones, Leisha Maples and Faith Williams, all of Knoxville.

Mr. Robert Turner Sr. of Senoia passed away Dec. 10, 1996 at Peachtree Regional Hospital.

MRS. LOUISE INGRAM WILSON
Mrs. Louise Ingram Wilson, 80, of Newnan died Dec. 10, 1996 at Hospice Atlanta.
Born July 31, 1916 in Tallapoosa, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Ingram and Melvina (Moon) Ingram. She was the widow of the late Paul B. Wilson and was preceded in death by a son, Joe I. Wilson.
A retired nurse, Mrs. Wilson was a member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church. She helped operate Wilson Cleaners with her husband for many years.
Funeral services were held Dec. 12 at McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Howard officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.
Survivors include her daughter, Joan (William) Hicks of Atlanta; daughter-in-law, Barbara Holloway Wilson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

MR. FRED WINDOM
Mr. Fred Windom, 87, of Newnan died Dec. 9, 1996 at Peachtree Regional Hospital.
Mr. Windom was born June 26, 1909 in Coweta County. He was an electrician, a member of Elim Baptist Church and a member of Cherokee Masonic Lodge 66. Mr. Windom had worked as a maintenance supervisor with the Berry Schools.
Funeral services were held Dec. 11 at Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Alderman officiating. Interment followed at Elim Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic honors.
Serving as pallbearers were G.D. Hendrix, Joe Crain, J.W. Cash, J.C. Byrd, Merlina Stapler, Foy Waites.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Windom of Newnan; daughter, Patsy Villalpando of Carrollton; grandchildren, Susan Cooper of Chickamauga, Rip V. Mrs. Willie Belle Abernathy, 68, of Colony Creek Drive in Newnan died Dec. 6, 1996 at Peachtree Regional Hospital.
Born July 14, 1928 in Georgia, Mrs. Abernathy was the daughter of the late Joseph J. Cox and Mamie Chloe (Farr) Cox. A sales clerk at Lee-King Pharmacy, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Newnan.
Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Helms and the Rev. Jerry Walker officiating. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Survivors included her husband, Raymond Abernathy; daughters, Debbie and Walter Duke of Carrollton, Connie and Fred McKoy of Newnan; son, Tim and Leah Abernathy of Newnan; mother-in-law, Willie Bell Abernathy of Forsyth; sisters, Evelyn Floyd of Newnan, Opal Cox of Atlanta, Geraldine Smith of Newnan; brothers, Joe Cox Jr. of Sharpsburg, Fred Cox of Raymond, Gary Cox of Newnan; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Eleanor Leigh Camp, 76, of Sharpsburg died Dec. 7, 1996 at Southland Nursing Home.
Born April 1, 1920 in Newnan, Mrs. Camp was the daughter of the late William T. Camp and Pearl (Zachery) Camp. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Newnan.
Funeral services were held Dec. 9 at McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. John Minter officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan with Joe Camp, Tom Camp, Robert Camp, Haden Camp, Jack Camp and Roy Foster III serving as pallbearers.

Born Oct. 7, 1911 in Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Conner was the daughter of the late Edward Malone and Katherine (Callaway) Malone. She was the widow of Franks A. Conner Sr.
Mrs. Conner was a artist and a member of Central Baptist Church in Newnan.
Funeral services were held Dec. 11 (today) at McKoon Funeral Home with Dr. Joel Richardson officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Katy Conner of Peachtree City; sons, Frank A. Conner Jr. of Newnan, Tim Conner of Austell; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. James Milton Denney, 83, of Newnan died Dec. 6, 1996 in Newnan.
Born June 26, 1913 in Georgia, Mr. Denney was the son of the late Charlie Reptha Denney and Amelia Mae (Robinson) Denney. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with the William L Bonnell Company and a member of Newnan First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Dec. 7, 1996 at McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Dean officiating, assisted by the Rev. Gary Parrish. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan with Bill Garrett, Tim Denney, Tal Denney, Hunter Denney, Gordon Penny, Blake Denney, Wyatt Denney and Earnest Gillespie serving as pallbearers.

MR. ARNOLD DOMENIC
Mr. Arnold Domenic, 78, of Hogansville, died Dec. 9, 1996 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Born Nov. 21, 1918 in Kempton, Md., Mr. Domenic was the son of the late Antonio and Pauline Carpone Domenic. He had lived in the area for 46 years and attended Hogansville Church of God.
A retired construction worker, Mr. Domenic was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He escaped while being held as a prisoner of war in Germany and received the Purple Heart and three bronze Stars for his service. he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans.
Funeral services were held Dec. 11 (today) at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Sims officiating. Interment followed at Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Pike Domenic; son, Ted Domenic of Hogansville; sisters, Dolly Baker of Keyser, W. Va., Anna Domenic, Mary Gatto, both of Rawlings, Md.; brother, John Domenic of Rawlings; and two grandchildren.

MRS. MINNIE L. RANSBY ECTOR
Mrs. Minnie L. Ransby Ector, 85, of Heery Road in Newnan passed away Nov. 29, 1996 at Newnan Hospital.
Born May 3, 1911 in Heard County, Mrs. Ector was the daughter of the late Mattie Kay and Gus Ransby. She was the widow of Theodore (Dobby) Ector and was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Mae Ransby; a sister, Frances Ransby; and a brother, Thurman Oliver Ransby.
Funeral services were held Dec. 2 at Burns United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Small officiating, assisted by the Rev. Melvin D. Brittian Jr. and other ministers. Interment followed at Eastview Cemetery with the Burns United Methodist Men serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Florria Smith Ellington, 89, of Griffin died Dec. 8, 1996 at Starcrest Convalescent Center in McDonough.
Born Oct. 5, 1907 in Coweta County, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late James Ollie Smith and Emmie Minix Smith and the widow of Emmett E. Ellington. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grantville.
Graveside services were held Dec. 10 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan with the Rev. Melvin Payne officiating.
Survivors include sons, E.O. (Skeet) Ellington of Griffin, Jimmie E. Ellington of Conyers; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

MRS. MARY RUTH FOMBY
Mrs. Mary Ruth Fomby, 66, of Hogansville died Dec. 6, 1996 at Georgia Baptist medical Center in Atlanta.
Born May 23, 1930 in Heard County, Mrs. Fomby was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William L. Robinson. She lived in Hogansville most of her life and operated Five Points Grocery near Franklin.
Mrs. Fomby was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Milton Hall officiating. Interment followed at Corinth Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, G.L. MR. FRANCIS T. GLENN
Mr. Francis T. Glenn, 82, of Dalton died Dec. 8, 1996 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta.
Born Feb. 24, 1914 in Ashville, N.C., Mr. Glenn was the son of the late John Frazier Glenn Sr. and Eunice Farmer Glenn. He was a member of of the St. Marks Episcopal Church and a previous owner of Georgia Talc Company in Chatsworth.
Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Calvert "Kit" Glenn.
Funeral services were held Dec. 11 (today) at St. Marks Episcopal Church with the Rev. C. Dean Taylor officiating.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, John Frazier and Jane Glenn of Walkersville, Md.; daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Ed Dreschel of Tunnel Hill, Ga., Julia and Mike Barber of Newnan; brother, M. Born Aug. 11, 1915 in Georgia, Mrs. Liddon was the daughter of the late Warren C. and Claire (Bland) Smith and the widow of Alex R. Liddon. She was a homemaker and a member of Chapel By the Sea Baptist Church in Tybee Island.
Funeral services were held Dec. 7 at McKoon Funeral Home with Tim Johnson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Scott Brown. Interment followed at Turin Memorial Gardens with Evan Hough, Jeff Johnson, Joe Liddon, Joe Christopher, Mike Stretch and Jeramie Johnson serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Isaac Sumlin, 65, of Decatur passed away Dec. 4, 1996 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta.
Born Aug. 20, 1931, Mr. Sumlin was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Effie) Sumlin. He was a member of the Southern Bell Gospel Singers and Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He was married to Gladys Bates Sumlin.
Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at Sellers-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Stafford officiating, assisted by the Rev. Adrian Smith, and the Rev. Felton James. Interment followed at Eastview Cemetery with the Anointed Disciples Singers serving as pallbearers.

MR. JACOB WAYNE WOLFE
Mr. Jacob Wayne Wolfe, 71, of Newnan died Dec. 6, 1996 at Newnan Hospital.
Born Nov. 2, 1925 in Indiana, Mr. Wolfe was the son of the late Perry and Mary (Gotchell) Wolfe. He was married to the late Jule (Wyatt) Wolfe.
A mechanic, Mr. Wolfe was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Arnco Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Eidson officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his daughter, Catherine Shavers of Newnan; son, Robert Wolfe of Newnan; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

MRS. LOUNETTE SEWELL CHATHAM
Mrs. Lounette Sewell Chatham, 101, of Parks Avenue in Newnan died Dec. 2, 1996 at Newnan Hospital.
Born July 26, 1895 in the Happy Valley community of Coweta County, Mrs. Chatham was the daughter of the late Thomas Marion Sewell and Jeanette (Hobgood) Sewell. She was the widow of Ed T. Copeland and Homer Chatham. She was the oldest living member of her family, having been preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters and two half sisters.
Before her death, Mrs. Chatham was the oldest member of Macedonia Church, which she joined at age 9. A member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy Chapter 599, she was the chapter's only "Real Daughter," a member whose father served during the Civil War.
Funeral services were held Dec. 3 at McKoon Funeral Home with Dr. William Suttles officiating, assisted by the Rev. Searcy Jackson. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.
Serving as pallbearers were William P. Warren Jr., Steven Cefalu Warren, Frank Farmer, W.E. Warren Jr., Joey Webb and Carl Miller. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Jack Powell Jr., Harvey Elom, John Keeble, W.P. Warren Sr., Leonard Edlin, Bobby Williams, Hester Parham, Dr. James Bryant, Hoyt Warren, Earl Strickland, Max Bass, Curtis Hammond, Harold Dunnaway and Carey Knight.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane and Charles Barrett of Newnan; grandson, Charles "Chuck" and Jill Barrett of Carrollton; nieces and nephews.
