GREBER - John P., Sr. (Poochie), 74 died peacefully at his home on November 12, 2000. He was born in Greenvale, NY and lived in Hicksville, NY before moving to Virginia Beach in 1990. Mr. Greber was an Army veteran of WWII and a retired employee of Roslyn Public Schools. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Marion; daughter Patricia Czarniecki and her husband Robert of Hicksville, NY; sons John Jr. and his wife Mary, Michael and his fiancee Joy Crawford; granddaughters Leah and Janet and mother-in-law Matilda Goodwin all of Virginia Beach. Sisters Virginia Sienkiewicz of Albertson, NY, Cassie Schilling of Uniondale, NY, Lottie Yuchnievicz of Levittown, PA; brother Stanley of Greenvale, NY and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Greber is predeceased by his parents Helen and Michael Greber, brother Zygmun and sisters Jenny and Helen. Arrangements by H. D. Oliver Funeral Home, 2002 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach.
