PARKER, EARL MILLER, age 94, of Morristown, passed away Sunday evening, March 28, 2004 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church and a World War II vetaran, who was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained while on the front lines while serving his country. He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Mary Elizabeth Hunley Parker; three brothers; and five sisters. He is survived by his wife, Flossie; daughters, Ginny (Gary) Goforth and Sandee (Danny) Seal; grandchildren, Scott Goforth, Heather (Jeff) Rippetoe and Lean Ann (Richard) Dorrough; great-grandchildren, Spencer Goforth, Rachael and Nathan Rippetoe and Jasmine and Tyler Parton. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Gilbert Tunnell and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Parker will be greatly missed by family, freinds and a lot of little folks who called him "Papaw Earl" while staying at Flossie's daycare. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 30 at Allen Funeral Home. Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 31 in Hamblen Memory Gardens. DAVIS, EMORY C.
DAVIS, EMORY C., age 84, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; parents, Lewis and Kate Davis; grandson, Robert Hudgens; brohter, Chester Davis; and sister, Mary Linkous. Mr. Davis was a member of Buffalo Trail Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 122nd Field Artillery in the Philippines and New Guinea. He was a lifetime emmber of VFW Post #5266 in Morristown and was retired from American Enka after 31 years of service. Mr. Davis leaves behind four children and their spouses, Michael C. and Linda Davis, Steve and Gayle Davis, Gail and Gary Hudgens and Marlene and Dennis Alvis, all of Morristown; grandchildren, Taylion Tompkins, Buffie Simerly, Joshua, Cody and Kaitlyn Davis and Keith Alvis, all of Morristown, and Lindsay Starnes of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Simerly, Emily and Erika Hudges, Coleman, Connor and Austin Tompkins; brohters, Lester and Bert Davis of Rogersville, Ted Davis of South Carolina and Edsel Davis of Atlanta; sisters, Jean Lawson of Lexington, Tenn. and Gladys Livesay of Kyles Ford; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 3 at Buffalo Trail Baptist church with the Rev. Ray Adams officiating. Military graveside services conducted by VFW Post #5266 will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Saturday, prior to the services at the church. BALL, HUGH L., age 85, of Morristown, passed away Monday, May 17, 2004 at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home. He was preceded in death by his paretns, Bernie B. and Lucy Bell Ball and brother, Guy Ball. He was a World War II Army veteran and was employed for many years by Bob Bales Ford. He is survived by his daughters, Argell Kinsler and Rochella Johnson, both of Morristown; grandchildren, Barry Kinsler, Pamela Rochella Coleman and Lorraina Lee Reece; sisters, Audrey Jenkins of Russellville and Earlene Norton of Life Care Nursing Home; great-grandchild, Hunter James Coleman; and a very special son-in-law, Kyle E. Kinsler. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20 at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Bunch officiating. TOWNSLEY, LENA BEATRICE
TOWNSLEY, LENA BEATRICE, age 62, passed away at her home in Bean Station Monday, May 17, 2004 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Arthur Josh and Maxie Hale Collins; brothers, Bill Collins and Everette Collins; and sister, Peggy Sampson. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Phyllis and Larry Coffey and Linda Kaywood, both of Bean Station; sons, Donnie Townsley, T.J. Townsley and David Townsley, all of Bean Station and Richard Townsley of Whitesburg; living ex-husband, Bill Townsley; sister, Shirley Miller of Bean Station; a brother, Howard Collins, also of Bean Station; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and uncles. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18 at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Walker officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19 in Floyd Cemetery in Bean Station. FERGUSON, WILLIAM "BILL," age 82, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Monday, May 31, 2004. He was a member of the American Christian Church and a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Daisy Ferguson and sister, Betty Everhart. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Trula Ferguson; sons, Wayne (Vickie) Ferguson, Bill (Glenda) Ferguson and Larry Ferguson; daughters, Charlotte (Bobby) Winstead and Donna Ricker; brothers, Allen Ferguson, Edgar Ferguson and Lowell Ferguson; sisters, Dorothy Sturm, Maude Sturm and Irene Hayes; grandchildren, Rhonda, Joey (Bobbie Jo) and Brian Chance, Michael Boatwright, Casey and Allison Ricker, Devin Ferguson, Michael Ferguson, Tabatha Ramsey and Gary Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany, Chaslyn, Caity, Blayne and Brooklyn Chance; and several nieces and nephews. ALLEN, DOROTHY (ROBBINS)
ALLEN, DOROTHY (ROBBINS), RN, a ten-year resident of Morristown, Tennessee, died at home on June 4, 2004, after an extended illness. She was the wife of John L. Allen for 55 years. Born in Hartford, Con-necticut in November 1924, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Anne (Gray) Robbins. She was a graduate of Simsbury (Connecticut) High School and Hartford Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1946. A long time resident of Red Bank, New Jersey, Mrs. Allen also lived in Freehold and Howell, NJ She was retired from Monmouth County (N.J.) Prosecutors' Office before moving to Morristown in 1994. She was a communicant of All Saints Episcopal Church in Morristown, a member of the Eastern Star of Conn., Simsbury Grange, Conn., American Sewing Guild, Knitting Guild of America and the Monmouth Boat Club of Red Bank, NJ In addition to her husband, Mrs. Allen is survived by her brother, Theodore W. Robbins, Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida; and two sisters, Gertrude Chatfield of Coarsegold, California and Mary Litsermeyer of Valatie, New York; daughter-in-law, Terry Allen-Burns of Mason City, IA; two grandchildren, Shelby Benitz of Clear Lake, IA, and Daniel Allen of Garner, IA her beloved cat, Tawny, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, David J. Allen. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will take place on a future date. Memorial donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, Morristown, TN. Arrangements are with the Allen Funeral Home.

FRANK AUSTIN GREENE, age 62, of Bean Station, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Eva Greene and two sisters, Fay Harris and Loretta Morris. He was a member of Barnards Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, Neil and Chris Campbell; sisters, Mary Eidson and Pauline Davis; brothers, Guy Wilder, Charlie, Lawrence and Raymond Harris; mother-in-law, Nan Hipsher; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday, July 16 at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elmer Lampkin officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17 in Meadowbranch Cemetery in Bean Station. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, prior to the services at the funeral home. DAVID BEAL
DAVID BEAL, age 57, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2004 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the funeral home. Arrangements by Allen Funeral Home in Morristown. He was a licensed funeral director, and formerly owned Beal Monument and Cremation Services in New York. He was also a former employee of R.J. Reynolds. David enjoyed teaching children about gun safety and the proper use of firearms, giving time to them in instruction at the Morristown Trap Club, in which he was an active participant. He had developed many friendships in the short time he lived in Morristown. Survivors include his wife, Candice; step-son, James Psichopaidas and his wife, Tiffany; granddaughter, Calista Psichopaidas; daughter, Karisa Jenkins and her husband, Todd. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Newark, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Morristown Trap Club for youth education. Allen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

ANNIE (ANNA) ELIZABETH ADKINS
ANNIE (ANNA) ELIZABETH ADKINS, age 83, of Morristown, formerly of South Point, Ohio, went to be with our Lord Sunday, July 18, 2004 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. She was of Seventh-day Adventist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Myrtle (Ashworth) Wheeler; son, Roscoe Brammer; husbands, Roscoe Brammer, Elisha Stevens and Austin Adkins; two brothers, James and Ellison Wheeler; several step sons and step daughters; and her sister in Christ, Lucille Melvin. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Betsy Brammer of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Jim and Becky Blankenship of Mooresburg; daughter, Jane Brammer of Morristown; step sons, Ralph Brammer of Merced, Calif. and Bob Brammer of South Point, Ohio; granddaughters, Buffy Brammer and Johnsie Fulcher of Raleigh, N.C.; grandson, (Mike) and Judy Nourse of Statesville, N.C.; granddaughter, Donnie and (Debbie) Bell of Talbott; granddaughter, Mark and (Nicole) Franklin of Limestone; grandson, Bobby Joe Pratt of Lexington, Ky.; granddaughter Brian (Donna Marie) Bigelow of Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Andrew Nourse of Statesville, N.C., Chalea and Hailey James of Talbott, Kaitlyn and Alex Fulcher of Raleigh, N.C. and Austin Bigelow of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Marie Malone of South Point, Ohio. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 21 in Ironton, Ohio at Phillips Funeral Home. Arrangements by Allen Funeral Home in Morristown.

ISABELL M. CZESKI, 77, of Morristown, formerly of Eastpointe, Mich., passed away Thurs., July 22, 2004 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mildred Reifert, and a brother, Elroy Reifert. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Chester T. Czeski; daughter and brother-in-law, Donna and Vince Aarons, all of Morristown; daughter, Charlene Czeski of Eastpointe; grandchildren, Debra Aarons; son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Amy Aarons; great-grandchildren, Emilyh and Shane Aarons; brother, Elwood Reifert of Warren, Mich.; sister, Rose Marie Ford of Eastpointe; several nieces and nephews. SAM K. SMITH (BILL), 82, went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam K. and Florence Smith; and brothers Earl Smith and J.H. Smith. He is survived by his wife Ina Ruth Smith; daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Douglas Napier, Judy Ann and Dennie Baker, Janet and Wayne Monhollen; brothers Lewis Smith, Fred Smith, Estel Smith; and sister, Ida Lou. Survivors also include sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mauren and Jimmy Colelake, Trudy and Larry Goad, Bonnie and Randall Holt, Betty and Welgen Holt, and Kell and Avoe Holt. Bill is also survived by three granddaughters, two great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. RALPH DAVID ROSE, 81, of Morristown, passed away Sat. morning, July 31, 2004 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Grace Rose; sons, Bobby England of Tipp City, Ohio, Tommy England of Dillwyn, Va. and Jim Rose of Gettysburg, Ohio; daughters, Betty McKenzie of Richmond, Va.; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 a.m., Mon., Aug. 2 at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Robison and the Rev. J.D. Stallard officiating. HAZEL JEAN RUSSELL TURNER, age 81, of Russellville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was a member of Three Springs Baptist Church and was retired from Shelby Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Turner; mother and father, Quinnie and Robert L. Russell; and brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Nettie Russell. She is survived by her daughters, Diana J. Lane of Russellville, Peggy Gregg and husband, Johnny, of Russellville, and Pat Waggoner and husband, Steve, of Russellville; son, Mike Turner and wife, Lorraine, of Morristown; sister, Wilma Smith of Morristown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Traci and Russell Harrell, Jason W. Lane, Dawn and Gregg Rhines, Niki Turner, April Talley, Holly and Greg Thompson, Racheal Gregg and Major and Kayla Waggoner; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Eleanor Creech, Darlene Talley, Holly Thompson, Sue Long and a host of other friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5 at Allen Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Mullendore and the Rev. Sonny Davis officiating. Interment will be at Bethesda Cemetery. LILLIE GEARLDINE EPPERSON
LILLIE GEARLDINE EPPERSON, 59, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Fri. evening, Aug. 6, 2004 at Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. Mrs. Epperson was a member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife and mother who fought a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Atkins and Mary Mae Atkins Myers; brothers, Henry Paul and Nathan Atkins; and aunt and uncle, J.W. and Ella Mae Cluck. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Steve; daughters, Tora Epperson and Lisa Weston and her husband, Roger; granddaughter, Crystal Westmoreland; brothers, Roy Atkins and his wife, Pearl, John Oscar, Mack, Raymond, Carl, William, and Steve Atkins; sisters, Ida Hoard and Hattie Cameron; special friends, Chasity McClanahan, Tonya Gibson, Susanne Poole, and Brenda Clawson; many special brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Mon., Aug. 9 at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Epperson officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
