VICTOR - Lorin Kearsley, 91, of Victor, Idaho, died Jan. 1, 2000, at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Victor LDS Church. The family will meet with friends Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m., both at the church. Burial will be in the Victor Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Valley Mortuary in Driggs.

Lucy H. Wickham.
Lucy H. Wickham, 71, of Idaho Falls, died Jan. 2, 2000, at Columbia Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Wood Funeral Home in Idaho Falls.

Edla Nielson Schnell, 87, of Idaho Falls, died Jan. 2, 2000, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Idaho Falls.

Harvey Dewey Bowman.
Harvey Dewey Bowman, 70, of Blackfoot died January 2, 2000 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital from congestive heart failure.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Hill, Hawker, Sandberg Funeral Chapel.
The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home and for one-hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Grove City Cemetery.

Bette Messmore.
Pocatello - Bette S. Messmore, 77, Pocatello resident, died January 1, 2000 at the Pocatello Regional Medical Center following a cerebral hemorrhage.
At her request, no funeral services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hill, Hawker, Sandberg Funeral Home.

Leone F. Ellsworth.
POCATELLO - Leone Fredrick Ellsworth, 88, a longtime Blackfoot resident, died Jan. 14, 1999, at the Idaho State Veterans' Home in Pocatello, Idaho.
He was born April 27, 1910, at Rexburg, Idaho, to Jerome and Mary Klingler Ellsworth. He attended Rexburg elementary schools and Madison High School. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps of Engineers from 1942 to 1945, with assignments in North Africa, Italy and France.
On March 8, 1942, he married Florence Henscheid at St. Anthony, Idaho. He established himself as a southeast Idaho commercial painters, with a reputation of perfection in every brushstroke he put to any wall or building.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. He was a man who devoted himself to his work and his family.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Ellsworth of Blackfoot; his children, Marie Crouch (Paul) of Phoenix, Ariz., Jeanette Kotrason (John) of Idaho Falls, Jerome "Jerry" Ellsworth (Patricia) of Prescott, Ariz., Kenneth Ellsworth (Carrie) of Phoenix, and David Ellsworth of Kailua, Kona, Hawaii; a brother, Ross Ellsworth (Ruth) of Boise, Idaho; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son, James; a daughter, Dorothy Hess; three brothers, Louis, Ernest and Roy Ellsworth; five sisters, Lorena Murdock, Marie Acor, Violet Parkinson, Zella Ellis Hamilton and Leah Catmull; and a grandson, James Crouch.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Packham Mortuary in Blackfoot. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday for one hour before services. Burial will be in Blackfoot's Grove City Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions to the Idaho State Veterans Home, 1957 Alvin Ricken Drive, Pocatello, ID 83201.

Laurie Knight.
MENAN - Loretta Ann "Laurie" Knight, 53, of Menan, Idaho, died Jan. 14, 1999, at Columbia Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls of cancer.
She was born Dec. 12, 1945, at Sacramento, Calif., to Eugene Caricker and Audrey Missal Caricker. She spent her early years and was educated in parochial schools in Sacramento.
In April 1986 she married Paul Dean Knight at Sacramento. She had also lived in Lincoln, Calif.; San Blas, Mexico; and Post Falls, Idaho; before moving to Menan a year ago. She had worked for Human Resources for the State of California as an executive assistant.
A member of the Catholic Church, she served as a missionary to Guatemala. She was active in 4-H Clubs and F.F.A., having raised prize horses and blue-ribbon sheep. She was fluently bilingual in English and Spanish languages, was an accomplished pianist and vocalist, and was active in the arts. She also enjoyed crafts.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Knight of Boise, Idaho; children, Corinna Vinecke (Mark) of San Jose, Calif., Natalie Stephens of Caldwell, Idaho, Robert Dean Knight of LaJolla, Calif., and Robin Beretta of Reno, Nev.; a brother, Daniel Knight of Idaho Falls; a sister, Mary Scoresby of Iona, Idaho; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls, with Father Marcellus Fernandez. Friends may visit with the family Saturday for one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sacramento at a later date.

Elfreda R. Cardin.
Elfreda Rose Cardin, 73, an Idaho Falls resident, died Jan. 14, 1999, at her home.
She was born March 18, 1925, in Kansas, the daughter of Cale James and Hester Marie Self Rains. She grew up in Kansas and moved to California when she was 17-years-old.
During World War II, she worked in the California shipyards. She then worked in the food service industry. She moved to Idaho in 1980 to be nearer her daughter and family, and continued to work in food services until her retirement in 1987.
She had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and caring for her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Letha L. (husband, Dennis M.) Pask of Idaho Falls; a brother, Bill (wife, Lee) Rains of Wellington, Kan.; two grandchildren: Denise L. (husband, Joseph) Landis, and Darla K. (husband, James) Wyatt; and three great-grandchildren: Jordan W. A. Landis, Mikael J. Wyatt, and Andee L. Wyatt, all of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by a son, Willis Glen Cardin; her parents; a brother, Cale Raines, Jr.; and two sisters, Dorothy Sorrenti and Petty Pierce.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at the Calvary Chapel, 1755 W. Broadway, Idaho Falls, Idaho, by Pastor Rick Brown, under the direction of Coltrin Colonial Mortuary in Idaho Falls. The family suggests that donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1352 E. Center, Pocatello, ID 83201. The body was cremated.

Robert L. Morse, 83, of Idaho Falls, died Jan. 15, 1999, at his home.

Marianne Nathala Brunt.
HAYWARD, Calif. Ñ Marianne Nathala Brunt, 62, of Hayward, Calif., a school teacher for 35 years, died Jan. 3, 1999, in California. Her parents were the late Paul and Nathala Brunt of Idaho Falls.
Funeral services were held at the Hayward LDS 2nd Ward, 2401 Gading Road.

Kenneth G. Jorgensen.
SAN JOSE, Calif. Ñ Kenneth Gene Jorgensen, 74, of San Jose, Calif., a former resident of Idaho Falls, died Jan. 13, 1999, in his home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Coltrin Colonial Mortuary, 2100 First St., in Idaho Falls. The family will meet with friends for one hour before services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery with military rites by the Bonneville County VeteranÕs Team.

John Amos Cordova.
John Amos Cordova Jr., 10, son of John and Vanessa Cordova of Idaho Falls, died Jan. 21, 2000, in Salt Lake City, at the Primary Children's Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Idaho Falls LDS Kearney 3rd Ward with Bishop Crary Davis officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls, and Tuesday for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.

ARCO - Robert Hinshaw, 58, of Darlington, Idaho, died Jan. 18, 2000, at the Lost Rivers Medical Center in Arco.

RIGBY - Alta Mae Parkinson, 89, of Santa Clara, Calif., a longtime resident of the Rigby area, died Jan. 26, 2000, in Santa Clara.
She is the daughter of Olaf Jensen and Carrie Alzina Ball Jensen.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.

Annie Lee Reese.
Annie Lee Reese, infant twin daughter of David Eugene Reese and Shirley Meikle Reese of Idaho Falls, was stillborn Jan. 26, 2000, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her parents of Idaho Falls; her twin sister of Idaho Falls; a brother, Eliah (Ruth) Reese of Idaho Falls; three other sisters, Lacey Reese, Ashley Reese and Aubrey Reese, all of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Eugene and Ann Reese of Idaho Falls, and Lula Meikle of Shelley; great-grandmother, Lela Leavitt of Idaho Falls; and great-great-grandmother, Grace Bird of Idaho Falls.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in the Milo Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls.

Mark Brown Ward.
REXBURG - Mark Brown Ward, 85, of Hibbard, Idaho, died Jan. 27, 2000, at the Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg.
His wife is Jessie Vera Ward of Hibbard, and one of his daughters lives in the area, Treva Burnside of Burton.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Hibbard LDS Church. The family will visit with friends Saturday from noon until time of services. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg.

BLACKFOOT - Carl Caudle, 86, of Blackfoot, died Jan. 27, 2000, at his home.

Morris J. Clark, 81, of Idaho Falls, died Feb. 1, 2000, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fielding Memorial Park with Pastor John Piirto, of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. before services at Coltrin Colonial Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls.

Frank Cook.
TWIN FALLS - Frank Cook, 60, of Twin Falls, a former Rigby and Menan area resident, died Jan. 31, 2000, at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 Saturday at the Twin Falls 9th LDS Ward on Elizabeth Boulevard. Friends may visit Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at White Mortuary in Twin Falls. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Cleve C. Coby.
BLACKFOOT - Cleve C. Coby, 40, of Ross Fork Creek, was found dead near his home Feb. 27, 2000, of undetermined causes.
A burial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ross Fork Creek Cemetery. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hawker, Hill, Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot. His body will be taken to Rosphine Coby's home Wednesday afternoon, on Wheeler Road in Ross Fork, where family and friends may meet until time of services on Friday.

Laurel R. Wilkinson.
BLACKFOOT - Laurel Ransom Wilkinson, 75, died Feb. 27, 2000, in Pocatello at the Bannock Regional Geriatric Center after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Tyhee LDS Stake Center with Bishop Richard Watt officiating. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Groveland Cemetery under the direction of Hawker, Hill, Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot.

Jack Rice.
ASHTON - Jack Rice, 84, of Ashton, Idaho, died March 10, 2000. He was under the care of Department 7 Health and Hospice.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Ashton Community United Methodist Church. The family will meet with friends for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the Pineview Cemetery under the direction of Valley Mortuary in Ashton.

Ralph Heskett.
ASHTON - Ralph Heskett, 68, of Ashton, Idaho, died March 10, 2000, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Ashton Christian Fellowship Church. The family will meet with friends for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the Pineview Cemetery under the direction of Valley Mortuary in Ashton.

Mildred C. Thiemann.
Mildred Chaffin Thiemann, 77, Pocatello, passed away at her son's home March 18, 1998. She was born to Lamond and Lenna Mary Rider Chaffin in Rose, Idaho, on December 21, 1920. Her memories of Rose included a very happy and loving family. She was the second of three girls. She spent her early childhood helping on her parents farm in Rose. She attended elementary school in Rose, Idaho, and high school in Blackfoot, Idaho. She attended college at Idaho State University, Ricks College and graduated from Brigham Young University.
She married Earl Raymond Thiemann on October 4, 1942, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They homesteaded a farm in Mud Lake and she taught at local schools. They later moved to Preston, Idaho, where they owned and operated the Johnson Hotel. In 1967, she moved to Pocatello, Idaho.
She retired in 1983 as a math teacher from Hawthorne Junior High in Pocatello, Idaho. She taught school for over 40 years teaching grades one through twelve. In her early professional years, she taught school in Hamer and Terreton. She later taught in Franklin, Idaho, and Preston, Idaho.
She belonged to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, was a member of the LDS 26th and 22nd Wards. She enjoyed painting, gardening and sewing.
Her greatest and lasting contribution was being a positive influence in the lives of her children and grandchildren and her emphasis on education. Many previous students are grateful for the skills they learned in her classes and her ability to teach them.
She is survived by two daughters, DeeAnn Linford, Montpelier, Idaho, and Debra S. (Alan) Green, Pocatello; and two sons, Richard C. (Linda) Thiemann, Vernon, Texas, and William L. (Debby) Thiemann, Pocatello, Idaho; and a sister, Jean (Dean) Kofoed, Iona, Idaho; fifteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her father and mother; and sister, Leona Salisbury. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 1998, at the LDS 22nd Ward at 550 W. Cedar, Bishop Al Lenon officiating. A viewing will be held from 7-9 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave., and at the church from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services on Monday. Burial will follow in the Fielding Memorial Cemetery, Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Bonnie L. Evans.
SHELLEY - Bonnie L. Evans, 75, of Shelley, died April 17, 2000, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today, April 19, in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.

Rulon V. Frandsen.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Rulon V. Frandsen, 63, a resident of the Colorado Springs area for 37 years and formerly of Idaho Falls, died April 15, 2000, at Penrose Main Hospital.
He was born in Basalt, Idaho, to the late Lloyd Victor and Sarah Columbia Speas Frandsen. His wife is Norine Hawkins Frandsen.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the LDS 5th Ward, 301 Old Broadmoor Road. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, 1001 S. Hancock, under the direction of Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber; phone: 719-632-7608.

Nellie Margaret Truchot.
BLACKFOOT - Nellie Margaret Truchot, 91, of Pocatello, died April 18, 2000, at the Bannock Regional Medical Center in Pocatello.
Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Friday under the direction of Hawker, Hill, Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot.

BLACKFOOT - A.D. Leach, 79, of Blackfoot, died April 18, 2000, at the Bingham Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Funeral services will be at 6 tonight, April 19, at Hawker, Hill, Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot. Visitation will continue after services until 9 p.m.

Don Falter.
OAHU, Hawaii - Don Falter, 21, of Oahu, Hawaii, a former resident of Pocatello and Montpelier, Idaho, died April 12, 2000, in Oahu from injuries received in a bomb blast while on an Army training maneuver.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Blackfoot Stake Center, Highland Drive, with Bishop Gordon Wankier officiating. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hawker, Hill and Sandberg Funeral Home, Blackfoot, and for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Norton Cemetery in McCammon, Idaho, with military honors by the Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Hawker, Hill and Sandberg Funeral Home in Shelley.
