He served his country for three years stationed in California, before moving back to Yakima where he served in the reserves. It is here that he met the love of his life, his wife Christine. Together they settled in Selah and began raising their 3 beautiful children.

Wayne touched the lives of many people, including those he worked with at the Yakima County Department of Corrections. He worked there for 15 years and will always be fondly remembered for his practical jokes and unwavering loyalty.

Wayne will be greatly missed by his family. We are very saddened to have to say goodbye, but we have such wonderful memories of him to tell his children. His contagious laughter will always stand out among those memories. When Wayne laughed, those around him could not help joining in, even if we had no idea why he was laughing.
