Mr. Roger L. Bloxham

Fort Atkinson -- Roger L. BLOXHAM, age 70, of Fort Atkinson is absent from the body and present with the Lord as of Monday, June 25, 2007.

He was born November 7, 1936, in Fort Atkinson to Frank and Leila (Bretzmann) Bloxham of Fort Atkinson.

Before retiring in 1994, he was employed as an engineer by the Wisconsin Energies Corporation. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Atkinson.

On May 20, 1961 he married the former Nancy L. Gabert and she survives. Also, surviving are their children, Michael L. of Genessee, WI., Annette J. (Jerry) Smetak of Cottage Grove, TN., and Eric S. (Wendy) of Jefferson, WI., 5 grandchildren; Rachael, Annie, Nick Smetak and twins Amariah and Leila Bloxham. Also surviving is one brother, Daniel L. (Barbara) Bloxham of Tucson, AZ, nephews Steve and Chris Bloxham, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leila Bloxham, one son, Eric Lee, and nephew James Bloxham.

Funeral Services are to be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, July 1st at the First Baptist Church of Fort Atkinson with Pastor Rodney Anderson officiating. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 3PM until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery, Town of Sumner.

Nitardy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Fort Atkinson.

Mrs. Bettie Adel Pulver

Bettie Adel PULVER, age 86, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, died Thursday, October 2, 2008, at the Univeristy Hospitals, in Madison, WI.

Bettie was born in Racine County, Wisconsin on June 20, 1922, the daughter of Elmer and Magdaline (Eckert) Francisco. She graduated from Woodstock High School in 1940. On July 5, 1947, Bettie married Loren J. Pulver in Woodstock, Illinois. The resided in Woodstock until 1993 when they moved to Wisconsin. Bettie enjoyed knitting, reading, and playing shepshead.

Surviving are: Husband: Loren Pulver, Fort Atkinson, WI, Daughter: Jeri Pulver, Wonder Lake, IL, Grandchildren: Adam Maceika, Wonder Lake, IL, Gregory Maceika, Wonder Lake, IL, Peter Maceika, Wonder Lake, IL, and Laura Maceika, Chicago, IL.

Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Glenna Cross and brothers, Hugh and Raymond Francisco.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating.

Friends may call after 10:00AM on Wednesday at the funeral home until the services.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Ray W. Beckman

Ray W BECKMAN, age 80, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.

Ray was born in Monroe, Wisconsin on May 19, 1928, the son of Ray L. and Lucille (Selck) Beckman. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1946 and attended Beloit College. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1946 until 1948. On February 9, 1950, Ray married Carolyn Vogel in Dubuque, Iowa. Ray worked at Bruni Miller in Monroe for seven years and then became a salesman for Butler Manufacturing in Fort Atkinson for 34 years, retiring in May 1990. Ray was a member of the Monona Oaks Community Church in Madison and was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.

Surviving are: Wife: Carolyn Beckman, Fort Atkinson, WI, Son: William R. (Shari) Beckman, Madison, WI, Son: Robert R. (Jan) Beckman, Bend, Oregon, Son: Richard R. (Kathy) Beckman, Michigan, Daughter: Julia R. (Robert) McKenzie, Jefferson, WI, and Daughter: Lynn R. (Steven) Bussan, Grand Meadow, MN, Seventeen Grandchildren: Miya, Kiarra, Emily, Skye, Starr, Savannah, Elizabeth, Shannon, Parker, Noah, Olivia, Isaiah, Nathanael, Rebekah, Stephanie, Melanie and Isaac, Sister: Judith (Frank) Gerber, Waupun, WI, Sister: Elaine Ott, Iowa, and Brother-in-Law: George Gramling, Columbus, OH.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janet Gramling.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at 11:00AM at the Monona Oaks Community Church, 6200 Monona Drive, Madison, WI with Rev. William Bartz officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

The Nitardy Funeral Home of Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.

Mr. Dennis R. Sukowski

Dennis R. SUKOWSKI, age 52, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, died Friday, October 10, 2008, at his home.

Dennis was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on December 14, 1955, the son of Claire Sukowski. Dennis served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. On November 15, 1986, Dennis married Tina Melahn in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Dennis was a bus driver for the Whitewater School System. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, playing cards, oldies music, NASCAR, playing softball and was a Packer Fan. Dennis was a member of the Palmyra Thomas-Holcomb American Legion Post #304 and the Jefferson County Voiture #750.

Surviving are: Wife: Tina Sukowski, Whitewater, WI, Daughter: Kori (Chris) Reinwald, Horicon, WI, Daughter: Brittany (Jeff) Turley, Whitewater, WI, Son: Nick Sukowski, Whitewater, WI, Daughter: Tabatha (Fiance: Scot Fitzhugh) Sukowski, Duncan, OK, and Seven Grandchildren: Gage Sukowski, Alex Turley, Destiny Kogler, and Dakota, Cayden, Cyriana and Trinity Reinwald. Dennis is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother and grandmother, Rosella "Dolly" Sukowski.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at 1:00PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, Wisconsin with Rev. Kendall Nordstrom officiating. Burial will follow in the Cold Spring Cemetery, Town of Cold Spring, Wisconsin.

Friends may call after 11:00AM on Wednesday at the funeral home until the services.

Mrs. Ruth Jayne Csicsatka

Ruth Jayne CSICSATKA, age 75, of New Port Richey, Florida, died Friday, October 3, 2008, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital, in Fort Atkinson, WI.

Ruth was born in Stoughton, Wisconsin on October 29, 1932, the daughter of William G. and Elizabeth M. (Whaley) Taylor. Ruth attended nursing school in Arizona and California. She worked as a registered nurse at hospitals in California, New York City, Long Island and New Port Richey, Florida and then ended her career in private nursing and hospice care. Ruth married Paul Csicsatka, who preceded her in death in 2007. Due to her health, Ruth had recently moved to Whitewater, Wisconsin to live with her sister.

Surviving are: Two Sisters: Carrie M. Condon, Whitewater, WI, and Agnes Wileman, Fort Atkinson, WI and also many nieces and nephews, including special niece, Gail and special nephew, Casey.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and six siblings.

Following Ruth’s wishes, no formal services will be held.

Memorials may be given in Ruth’s name to her catholic church in New Port Richey, Florida or to Hospice in New Port Richey.

Joan F. Averna

August 9, 1943 - April 19, 2008

Joan F. Averna, 64, formerly of Janesville and Edgerton, died on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Beloit Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Janesville on Aug. 9, 1943, a daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Castaga) Averna. Joan graduated from Janesville High School in 1962 and worked at the Edgerton Shoe Factory for nine years. She moved to California for 14 years and later moved back to Janesville to care for her father. After moving back to Janesville, she worked at SSI until her illness forced her to retire in 1992.

She is survived by her caretakers and very dear friends, whom she lived with since 1999, Wally and Judy Schultz of Edgerton and their wonderful family; and her sister, Mary Monson of California.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Assisting with arrangements is the WHITCOMB–LYNCH–ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, JANESVILLE; (608) 752-2444.

Mr. Harold H. Yahn

HAROLD H. YAHN, age 90, of Madison, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Care Center, in Madison.

Harold was born in the Town of Deerfield, Wisconsin, the son of Herman and Ivy (Strausburg) Yahn. He served his Country in the U.S. Airforce during WWII from 1942 until 1945. On May 6, 1980, Harold married Lucille Anna Fettig in Las Vegas, Nevada. Harold worked for 32 1/2 years at Oscar Mayer in Madison. He was a member of the London Moravian Church and VFW Post #7591.

Surviving are: Wife: Lucille Yahn, Madison, WI.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 10, 2008, at 11:00AM at the London Moravian Church, London, Wisconsin with Rev. Jane Follmer-Zekoff officiating. Burial will follow in the Kroghville Cemetery, Town of Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

Friends may call after 10:00AM on Friday at the church until the services.

The Nitardy Funeral Home of Cambridge is assisting the family.
