Dul
John Dul, 78, of Butternut, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at Flambeau Hospital, Park Falls.
Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Butternut; Father James Jackson officiating.
A parish prayer vigil was held Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the Novitzke Funeral Home, Park Falls.
Burial was in St. Cecelia Cemetery, Butternut.
He was born March 7, 1921, in Butternut. His parents were Joseph and Sophie (Coepech) Dul.
He grew up and attended school in Butternut.
He moved to the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage area in 1959. He returned to Butternut in 1996.
He is survived by Julie (Phil) Swenson, Bernie Dul, Juli Dul, Jeremy Dul, Carol (Joseph) Zilinger and by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Jacobson
Elizabeth Jacobson, 53, of Glidden, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at her home.
Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Glidden; Rev. Michael Paholke officiating.
She was born March 25, 1946, in Phillips. Her parents were Joseph and Anna (Pusharich) Korab.
She grew up and attended school in Lugerville and Phillips and graduated from Phillips High School.
She moved to Milwaukee in 1964 and to Wausau in 1965.
She married Wilbert "Fred" Jacobson Aug. 15, 1966, in Wausau.
The couple moved to Hartford, where they lived until 1972, when the family moved to the Glidden area.
A homemaker, she operated the family farm with her husband and children, and also worked for 13 years at Winter Woods in Glidden.
She is survived by her husband; four children, Brenda (David) Lindner of Tullahoma, TN, and Mary (Robert) Petroski, John Jacobson and Donna Jacobson, all of Glidden; two granddaughters; five sisters, Mary (Walter) Janicek of Phillips, Helen Trapp, Emily Semande and Kathleen (Ken) Hoffman, all of Wausau, and Annie (Bill) Muelling of Marathon City; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a sister, Dorothy.

Kuehl
Louise Kuehl, 96, of Park Falls, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, at Park Manor Nursing Home, Park Falls.
Services were held Monday, Dec. 27, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Rev. Henry Boynton officiating.
Burial was in Nola Cemetery, Park Falls.
She was born Dec. 18, 1903, in Iron River. Her parents were Hans and Agnes (Duby) Moxness.
She was a graduate of Park Falls High School.
She married Leonard C. Kuehl Aug. 18, 1923, in Bessemer, MI.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Grey Ladies, the American Red Cross and the Flambeau Hospital Auxiliary.
She was very active at First Congretational Church and was a supporter of and contributor to both the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Northland College in Ashland.
She was the presenter of Betty Lou Kuehl scholarships to Park Falls High School graduates.
She is survived by a son, Leonard "Bus" (Dorothy) Kuehl of Park Falls; four grandchldren; and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Betty Lou; and by six sisters and a brother.
Smith, Tom Smith, 70, of Three Lakes, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Howard Young Medical Center, Woodruff.
Services were held Thursday, Dec. 23, at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home, Eagle River.
He worked for the USDA Forest Service and was a sawmill owner.
He was an Army veteran and a member of The American Legion.
He liked to hunt and enjoyed polka and marching music.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Blakely); a daughter, Lindy O'Meara of Park Falls, two sons, Thomas Smith and Timothy (Amy) Smith, both of Park Falls; and a sister, Helen Kincaid of Illinois.

Sollberger
Isabelle Sollberger, 93, of Athens, and formerly of Park Falls, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, in Medford.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 29, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Athens.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Athens.
She was born June 26, 1906, in Park Falls. Her parents were Peter and Annie (Woodie) Hoffman.
She married Ernest Sollberger June 20, 1928, in Park Falls. He preceded her in death Nov. 25, 1984.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan (Gilbert) Speers of Robbinsdale, MN; two brothers, Herbert Hoffman of Camden, AR, and James (Dorothy) Hoffmann of Donnellson, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Willard and Harlan Sollberger; four sisters, Helen Hoffman, Christine Hoffman, Margaret Schultz and Elizabeth Linsmeyer; and six brothers, Albert, Bernard, Arthur, Fred, Carl and George Hoffman.

Seluga
Rose Seluga, 89, died Aug. 2, 1999, in Kenosha.
Burial was in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
She is survived a son, Richard (Alvera) Seluga of Park Falls; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Felix, in 1975; a son, Thomas, in 1991; and by sisters and brothers.

Wardensky
Rosemarie Wardensky, 76, of Butternut, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 5, at First Congregational Church of Christ, Park Falls; Rev. Henry Boynton officiating.
There is visitation at the church today from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
Burial will in Nola Cemetery, Park Falls.
She was born March 29, 1923, in Butternut. Her parents were Charles and Ella (McCalvey) Newell.
She grew up and attended school in Butternut.
She married Warren T. Wardensky Aug. 30, 1941, in Butternut. He preceded her in death in 1993.
She traveled with her husband, who was in the U.S. Air Force for many years, and returned to Butternut in 1993.
She is survived by three daughters, Kaye Knudson of Marengo, IL, Kim Marie Wardensky of Burke, VA, and Kerry Wardensky of Butternut; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and by five brothers and sisters.

Eder
William J. Eder, 89, of Glidden, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999, at Park Manor Nursing Home, Park Falls.
Services were held Monday, Aug. 9, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Glidden; Father John Scheer officiating.
Burial was in Most Precious Blood Cemetery, Glidden.
He was born Nov. 20, 1909, in Glidden and was a life-long resident of Glidden. His parents were John and Rose (Segel) Eder.
He married Dorothy Rein Nov. 5, 1935, in Glidden.
He was a woodsman and logger and worked at the Chippewa Mill in Glidden.
He was an avid woodsman, hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife; three children, Gerald (Donna) of Cottage Grove, MN, Cleta (Myron) O'Keefe of Grafton and Bernadette Bruun of Elk Mound; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Carlson of Park Falls; a brother, George Eder of Grants Pass, OR; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Frank and Albert Eder; and a sister, Rose Arnt.
