Gustafson
Oscar J. Gustafson, 83, of Sarasota, FL, and formerly of Park Falls, died Monday, June 7, 1999.
A memorial service was held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Sarasota. Interment was at Serenity Gardens, Largo, FL.
He was born Dec. 4, 1915, in Iron Belt.
He retired in 1981 from the Gustafsons' supermarket corporation which he owned with his brothers, Ernest and Arnold.
He was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church and in earlier years held church offices and was an active choir member.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine; two daughters, Diane (Tom) Bronsted of Sarasota and Sherry (Dave) Jones of Richmond, VA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother, Arnold (Marge) Gustafson of Park Falls; and three sisters, Lillian (Charles) Lawrence, Lila (Charles) Walasek and Lorraine Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar A. and Mary F. Gustafson; his brother, Ernest; and an infant sister, Barbara.
Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church or to the music department at Park Falls High School.

Kronberger
Hazel M. Kronberger, 85, of Park Falls, died Friday, June 18, 1999, at her home.
Services were held Tuesday, June 22, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Park Falls; Father Linus Evers officiating.
A parish prayer vigil was held Monday, June 21, at the church.
Burial was in Nola Cemetery, Park Falls.
She was born Sept. 6, 1913, in Winneconne. Her parents were George and Nellie (Clark) Hatch.
The family moved to Park Falls in 1924. She was a graduate of Park Falls High School.
She married George Kronberger Sept. 19, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1986.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Christian Women of St. Anthony's and was treasurer and past president of the Park Falls Grey Ladies.
She is survived by two sons, James (Brenda) Kronberger of Park Falls and Dennis Kronberger of Sturgeon Bay; two daughters, Ann (Bob) Schmidt of Hayward and Janice (George) Michalski of Park Falls; 10 grandchildren, Wayne (Tami) Michalski, Terri (Shawn) Morgan, Chuck (Betti) Michalski, Jim (Kirsten) Kronberger, Mike Kronberger, Jake Kronberger, Susan (Gary) Hoff, Bob Schmidt, Karen (Josh) Ganje and Jim Schmidt; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, George Hatch of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Genevieve Juneau of Park Falls; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Rose Dombroski.

Miller
Sara June (Nusbaum) Miller, 71, of Newburg, and formerly of Park Falls, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999, after a lengthy bout with cancer.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 2, at Second Home Cemetery.
She was born June 27, 1927, in Park Falls. Her parents were Daniel and Mable Nusbaum.
She was a graduate of the physical therapy program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and throughout her career she worked at Curative Workshop, St. Mary's Burn Center and several nursing homes.
She was active as a volunteer with many groups, including Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, PTA and March of Dimes, as village of Newburg librarian, as a teacher naturalist at Riveredge Nature Center and as a water aerobics instructor for seniors. She was a founding board member of Welcome HOME, which assists people with disabilities in getting the most out of their lives.
She is survived by her husband of over 48 years, Leo B. Miller; four daughters, Diane Miller of Newburg, Sherry (Dale Sand) of Hubertus, Marcia (Jeffrey) Rosengarten of Northbrooke, IL, and Tamara (Jon Wertz) of Saukville; a son, David of Madison; six grandchildren; and five siblings, a twin sister, Susan Nusbaum of West Bend, Daniel "Dave" Nusbaum of DePere, Florence "Muffy" Leathen of West Bend, Jean Meloy of Madison and Katherine "Katy" Bradfield of Backus, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joseph; and a sister, Lucille Hardzinski.

Schultz
Kenneth D. Schultz, 67, of Park Falls, died Tuesday, June 15, 1999.
Services were held Saturday, June 19, at Evangelical Covenant Church, Park Falls; Rev. Arnold R. Bolin officiating.
Burial was in Nola Cemetery, Park Falls.
He was born Dec. 3, 1931, in Fargo, ND. His parents were Ruben and Viola (Gropp) Schultz.
He grew up and attended school in Park Falls.
He married Delia Plyer July 11, 1953, in Park Falls.
He was a self-employed carpenter and roofer.
He was a member of the Sno-Gypsies Snowmobile Club and a charter member of the Northern Pines Pool League.
He is survived by his wife; a sister, Beverly (David) Plyer of Hackensack, MN; and by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Lynette Smith.

Zilinger
Martin Joseph Zilinger, 83, of Butternut, died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at Flambeau Hospital, Park Falls.
Services were held Monday, June 21, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Butternut; Father Linus Evers officiating.
A parish prayer vigil was held Sunday, June 20, at the Novitzke Funeral Home, Park Falls.
Burial was in St. Cecelia Cemetery, Butternut.
He was born Feb. 19, 1916, in Chicago, IL. His parents were Casmeir and Mary (Czanerski) Zilinger.
He married Lucille Kempa Feb. 19, 1938, in Chicago.
He worked for the Conservation Corps and then became a mechanic and truck driver.
The couple moved to Butternut in 1972.
He is survived by his wife; nine sons, Joseph (Carol) of Butternut, Frank (Hollis) of Valparaiso, IN, Roy (Joan) of Mississippi, Kenneth of Butternut, Richard (Peggy) of La Porte, IN, Larry (Darlene) of Chicago, IL, Marty of Des Plaines, IL, Peter (Carla) of Butternut and Michael (Laura) of Streamwood, IL; four daughters, Theresa (Whitey) Mallery of Lockport, IL, Mary Ann (Wayne) Skoty of Streamwood, IL, Stella Linsmeyer of Eau Claire and Joyce (Steve) Schrieber of Littleton, WV; 53 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Marge Stefanski of Florida; and by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three grandsons, Harry Kempa Jr., Peter Zilinger Jr. and Robert Mallery; two granddaughters, Barbara Zilinger and Mary Theresa Zilinger; a brother, Frank Zilinger; and two sisters, Lucille Zilinger and Bernice Hoetzel.

Borowski
Floyd Borowski, 78, of Milwaukee, and formerly of Butternut, died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at his home.
Services were held Saturday, June 5, at Chapel of the Chimes at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Burial was at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
He is survived by a brother, Walter Borowski; and by many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane; and by two brothers, Royal and Earl Borowski.

Buescher
Cletus G. Buescher, 84, of Fifield, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Flambeau Hospital, Park Falls.
Services were held Friday, June 25, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Fifield; Father Clement Sobr officiating.
Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery, Fifield.
He was born Nov. 8, 1914, in St. Nicholas, MN. His parents were John and Ann (Schmitz) Buescher.
He moved to Fifield in 1917.
He was a mechanic and was co-owner/operator of Buescher Bros. Garage in Fifield.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by a brother, Linus Buescher of Fifield; and by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother, Carl.
