Myrtle Meacham, 91, Colby, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 15 at United Methodist Church, Colby. Burial was in West Spencer Cemetery, Town of Sherman, Clark County. Her nephew, Rev. Virgil Holmes, and Rev. Lois Takata, pastor, presided.

Edward E. Engel, 89, Owen-Withee, died Friday, April 6, 2001 at the Continental Manor, Abbotsford
Funeral services were held Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Withee, with the Rev. Tom Myhre presiding. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen and again on Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church until service time.
Orin S. Kramer
Orin S. Kramer, 84, Abbotsford, died on Monday, April 9, 2001, at the Continental Manor, Abbotsford, where he had resided since September 1999
Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, town of Colby. The Rev. Dr. Paul C. Hunsicker presided and burial was in Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Pall bearers were Jim Eiden, Dennis Grambort, Rock Eiden, Clarence Barkow, John Siemering and Orville Barkow.
Visitation was Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Colby.

Lorrie M. Smith, 55, Abbotsford, formerly of the Owen-Withee area, died on Thursday, July 26, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
The family received relatives and friends on July 29 at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.
Caroline Halverson
Caroline R. Halverson, 86, Medford, formerly of the Town of Frankfort, rural Edgar, died on Saturday, July 28, 2001, at the Wausau Hospital in Wausau.
Funeral services were held Aug. 1 at the Peace Lutheran Church, town of Frankfort, Edgar. The Rev. Jeff Tarris presided. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clayton Brugge, Byron Farner, Darrell Ankney, Al Selk, Tony Hinde and Dan Henke.
Visitation was held Aug. 1, a the Peace Lutheran Church.

Spencer D. Graves, 73, Spencer, died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Spencer United Methodist Church. The Rev. Lois Takata presided. Burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerome Heckel, Harry Heckel, Tom Loughead, Jim Sautner, Steve Heckel, Elliot Graves, Nick Graves, Ken Graupner and William Graves. Honorary pallbearers were Jacob Weaver, Timothy Kraus, Erica Graves, Brittany Graves, Lauren Graves and Michelle Weaver.

Ella I. Mildbrand, 95, Dorchester, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, where she had resided since February, 1998.
Funeral services were held Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Dorchester. The Rev. Jerome Freimuth presided. Burial was in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Pall bearers were Jim Mildbrand, Jr., Tadd Pribnow, Donald Witt, David Witt, Jason Howard, and Kenneth Smith.

Memorial services were held Monday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen. Inurnment was in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. The Rev. Brian Andersen presided. Military rites were given by Colby VFW Post 2227.

Armella M. Wozniak, 91, Abbotsford, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at Continental Manor Nursing Home, Abbotsford.
Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. Burial was in the Athens Cemetery. The Rev. John Malik presided. Pallbearers were Tom Wozniak, Dennis Wozniak, Ivo Wozniak Jr., Mike Bornheimer, Chad Feltz, and Ken Bartnik. Visitation was held Friday at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, and again Saturday until time of services at the church. A parish rosary was said Friday evening at the funeral home.
Marlyn Sommer
Marlyn J. Sommer, 74, Curtiss, died Thursday, June 7, 2001 at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, where he had been a resident since March 2000.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Green Grove. The Rev. Dr. Paul Hunsicker will preside and inurnment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be donated to the charity of choice or to the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church Building Fund.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Holway. The Rev. Father Frederick Brost presided. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
