Bernice B. Johnson
Bernice B. Johnson, 78, of 221 Allen St., Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, at Lakeside North Nursing and Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls.
She was born July 7, 1921, in the town of Woodmohr to Elsie (Albrecht) and Joseph Hilger. She graduated from Bloomer High School in 1939.
Bernice married Edward W. Johnson in 1948. She was employed at the Northern Center for the Developmentally Disabled for over 30 years, retiring in June, 1983. She became a resident of Lakeside North Nursing and Rehabilitation in July, 1999.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls, and the Chippewa Valley YMCA.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Gary) Krauter of Colby, Karen (Gerald) Overhulser of Eau Claire; one son, Joseph (Sandi) Johnson of Yuma, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Benjamin Johnson, Lori Evans, Matthew Overhulser; one sister, Florence Pederson of Chippewa Falls; her sister-in-law, Lucille Hilger of Bloomer; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on June 18, 1996; one sister, Lorraine Gallagher; and one brother, Walter Hilger.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls, with the Rev. Donald C. Thorson of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and until the time of service Thursday at the funeral chapel.
Bernice was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Thomas Lee Seng
HOLCOMBE — Thomas Lee Seng, 35, of Holcombe, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, as the result of a single care accident in the town of Colburn, Chippewa County.
He was born Dec. 6, 1963 in Ladysmith, the son of Earl and Marion (Nash) Seng. He attended school in Holcombe and was owner and operator of Hop Seng’s Repair Service in Holcombe.
Survivors include his fiance, Elizabeth Tomczak of Thorp; one brother, Dale (Josephine) Seng of Gilman; three sisters, Patricia (Gerald) Jones, Martha Poppe and LaVonne (Roger) King, all of Holcombe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Lyle.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4 at the Borton Funeral Home, Cornell, with burial in the Holcombe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.

DeLos A. Roth
DeLos A. Roth, 65, former resident of Cornell, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at his home in Chippewa Falls.
He was born Sept. 14, 1934, in Cornell, the son of Albert and Viola (Thorson) Roth. He was raised in Cornell where he attended school. He moved to Minnesota where he worked in sales, selling furniture, appliances and real estate.
DeLos was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and especially enjoyed camping. He was a volunteer with the Salvation Army and an active member of Green Thumb, both in Chippewa Falls.
Survivors include his children, Kathryn Ann (Terry) Kyzak of Alabama, Richard Allan Roth and Teresa Roth, both of Minnesota; two sisters, RonaDon (Larry) McDonald of Barron, Marilyn Epp of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; four brothers, LaMont (Marion) Roth of Eagle River, Glenard (Wanda) Roth of Alvin, Larry (Ann) Roth of Park Falls and John (Dianne) of Chippewa Falls; and four grandchildren, Amy, James, Jason and Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Susan Louise.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Cornell, with Father Jeremiah Cashman officiating. Burial will be in the Cornell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Borton Funeral Home, Cornell.

Marjory H. Stanley
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Marjory Helen Stanley, 94, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Sacramento, Calif.
She was born Feb. 15, 1905, in Velva, N.D., the daughter of Benjamin and Gertrude Wellman.
Marjory married George (Lyle) Stanley on May 26, 1924, in Rochester, Minn. They lived in Chippewa Falls before moving to Oxnard, Calif.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chippewa Falls and Oxnard, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Chippewa Falls. She had been living with her daughter, Helen, in Sacramento.
She is survived by: three sons, Rev. Edwin L. (Marjorie) Stanley of Velma, Okla., Rev. Lee G. (Katherine) Stanley of Lancaster, Calif., and Jay L. (Cordelia) Stanley of Ventura, Calif.; two daughters, Ada M. (Jerome) Reischel of Bloomer and Helen A. Stanley of Sacramento, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Benjamin; three sisters, Pearl, Marie and Dorothy; and one brother, Edgar.
Memorial services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Oxnard.
Graveside services will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls at a later date.
Simple Traditions is in charge of cremation.

Sister M. Eltrudis Thiemann, OSF
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Sister M. Eltrudis Thiemann, 94, of the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, died Thursday, March 2, 2000, at St. Francis Convent, Springfield, Ill.
Sister M. Eltrudis, the former Hedwig Thiemann, was born Aug. 9, 1905, in Langenbielan, Silesia, Germany, the daughter of Herman and Emma Grenlich Thiemann. She entered the congregation on May 28, 1931, and professed her religious vows on May 3, 1934.
Sister performed domestic tasks at hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin. She served at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls, from 1958 until 1982. She moved to the Motherhouse due to failing health in 1982.
She is survived by: one brother, Joseph Thiemann of Germany; one sister, Gertrud Polzer of Germany; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Father John Ostdiek, OFM will celebrate the Eucharistic Celebration and Rite of Christian Burial on Monday, March 6 at St. Francis of Assisi Church at the Motherhouse. Burial will be in Crucifixion Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 5 at the Motherhouse with a wake service to be held at 4 p.m.
Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Moe service
A funeral service for Beverly M. Moe, 75, of 721 Veronica St., Chippewa Falls, was held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2000, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Donald C. Thorson of Christ Lutheran Church officiated, with music provided by Judy Brist. Family comments were given by daughters, Julie Moe, Marsha Feuster, and Kathy Moehagen.
Spring interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery, town of Hallie. Honorary pallbearers were brothers-in-law, Bill and Dick Moe; brother, Jim Strum; and sons-in-law, Sam Feuster, Ed Moehagen and Al Gaynor.

Ruben ‘Skip’ Fauks
MESA, Ariz. — Ruben “Skip” Fauks, 76, of Mesa, Ariz., died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Myrtle Werth Hospital-Mayo Health System, while on vacation in Menomonie.
He was born Nov. 14, 1923, in Clear Lake, the son of Fred and Bertha (Boss) Fauks. Upon his graduation from Clear Lake High School in 1941, he entered the U.S. Air Force. He served in the Air Force from August 1942 until September 1945, in the European Theatre.
Skip married Lois Vrieze on June 14, 1947, in Menomonie. They just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
He worked at Lakeside Aluminum Company in Menomonie from 1945 to 1947 and then at Menomonie Refrigerated Lockers, which he purchased in 1955. He operated the Locker Company until he retired in 1985.
Skip was a member of the United Methodist Church all the years he lived in Menomonie. He was also a member of the Menomonie Lions Club for 35 years, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and playing cribbage. He’ll live on in the many pieces of stained glass work that he shared with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Lois of Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter, Peggy (Donald) Strand of Chippewa Falls; two grandsons, Matthew Strand of Hudson and Timothy Strand of Chippewa Falls; one brother, Otto Fauks of Milwaukee; four sisters, Trudy Webert of Port Angeles, Wash., Clara Kunkel of Seattle, Wash., Edna Owen of St. Paul, Minn., and Dee (Ralph) Spendal of Salem, Ore.; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 19 at Olson Funeral Home, Menomonie, with the Rev. Marilynn Rushton officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard of Menomonie.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the Veterans Memorial in Clear Lake.

Keith D. Henneman
Keith D. Henneman, 77, of 7274 178th St., Chippewa Falls, died Thursday evening, June 15, 2000, at St. Mary\'s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
He was born Dec. 18, 1922, in Chippewa Falls, to Irene (Koenig) and Irvin Henneman. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School and was a lifelong resident of Chippewa Falls. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Loretta Felce. Keith worked as a plumbing steamfitter for the State of Wisconsin. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, United Commercial Travelers, Disabled American Veterans, and Knights of Pythias Lodge.
Keith married Dorothy E. Roycraft Lowe on Oct. 4, 1966, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls. He enjoyed scroll woodworking as a hobby. He also loved hunting and fishing and served as a Boy Scout leader.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Chippewa Falls; two daughters, Diana (Dallas) Olson of Bloomington, Minn., Linda (Dr. Ken) Wallmeyer of Madison; two sons, Terry Henneman of Chippewa Falls, David Henneman of Eau Claire; two brothers, Harold Henneman of Eau Claire, Gordy Henneman of Camp Douglas; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Robert) Hoffman, Ben Winget, Ryan Winget, Leigh Wallmeyer, Tara Henneman, Nick Olson, Erin Olson, Andy Wallmeyer; one great-granddaughter, Saraya Hoffman; his aunt, Lorena Henneman of the Rutledge Home; and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his stepdaughter, Linda (Ray) Benedict and their families, Rick, Kelly, Carol, Jeff and eight great-grandchildren; and his stepson, Leonard (Lana) Lowe of Chippewa Falls and two grandchildren, Steven Lowe of Wisconsin Rapids and Michael Lowe of Chippewa Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bruce Henneman; two sisters-in-law; and a friend, Helen.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 18, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls, with the Rev. Richard Estrem-Fuller officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
Memorials to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund in Keith\'s name would be appreciated.
