Edmond Vanden Bosche
Edmond Gaston Vanden Bosche, 78, of Morgantown, died Feb. 26, 2001, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born March 7, 1922, in California, Pa., son of the late August H. and Rebecca L. Vanden Bosche. He was raised in Crescent Heights, Pa. He graduated from California High School, Penn State University, the University of Maryland Dental School and Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1947 and the U.S. Public Health Service from 1947-1949. He practiced dentistry in Baltimore for 13 years and taught dentistry at the University of Maryland for 27 years. He also taught at West Virginia University from 1976-1988. He was a retired professor emeritus from W VU, a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Morgantown, a member of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathryn H. Martens Vanden Bosche, from Peoria, Ill.; five children, Kathryn L. Mears, Edmond R. Vanden Bosche, G. Thomas Vanden Bosche, Martha J. Goodlett and John H. Vanden Bosche; a brother, August H. Vanden Bosche; a sister, Mary Louise Pacana; 14 grandchildren and four nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 309 Baldwin St., in Morgantown, at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, with a luncheon reception following. Charles Terry Hawkins
Charles Terry "Hawk" Hawkins, 53, of Wheeling, formerly of Morgantown, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Morgantown on May 1, 1947, son of the late James H. and Margaret Smith Hawkins-Schertzinger. He was a 1965 graduate of Morgantown High School, and received his bachelor's and master's degrees from West Virginia University in 1971. He was employed by West Virginia Rehabilitation Services. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Church, and coached the seventh- and eighth-grade basketball teams at St. Vincent Grade School, from 1980-94. He was the public address announcer for the Wheeling Central Catholic boy's basketball team. He is survived by his mother-in-law, Bertha Truax, of Wheeling; a brother-in-law and spouse, Edward "Skip" Jr. and Margy Truax, of Wheeling; and two nieces, Jamie Lynn Truax, and Kassi Garan, of Wheeling. Paul Benjamin Byrd
Paul Benjamin Byrd, 30, of Section, Ala., formerly of Morgantown, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at home. He was born Aug. 25, 1970, in Fort Leavenworth, Kan., son of Colonel Johnnie and Carolyn Byrd. He graduated from St. Francis High School and attended West Virginia University. He was a member of St. Thomas a' Becket Episcopal Church, in Morgantown. He is also survived by a brother, Ted L. Byrd, of Tampa, Fla.; a sister and spouse, Elizabeth and Chris Hayes, of Roanoke, Va.; a great-aunt, Jeanette Hollifield, of Morgantown; two aunts, an uncle, and nine cousins. Services will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, in Scottsboro, Ala., at 10 a.m. Friday, March 2, with the Rev. Howard W. Whitaker officiating.

Naomi Ruth Miller
Naomi Ruth Miller, 108, of Davis, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Cortland Acres Nursing Home, Thomas. She was born June 30, 1892, in Romney, a daughter of the William Edward and Betty Alkire Patterson. She worked as a telephone switchboard operator, starting in 1908 and retiring in 1954. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church. In appreciation for her dedicated service to the county, June 20, 2000, was officially declared Ruth Miller Day by the Tucker County Commission. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Pat (Caroline) Kosko Pell; seven grandchildren, Pam, Mont, Leigh Ann, Janice, Jon, Mary Lou and George; and 11 great-grandchildren, Will, Rachel, Nathan, Jordan, Zachary, Matthew, Megan, Cara, Bethany, Ian and Natalie. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Miller, in 1929; a son, William Miller, in 1968, and two brothers, Barton and Carl. Edward P. Kinchley Jr.
Edward P. Kinchley Jr., 75, of Lakeview Estates, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Sundale Nursing Home. He was born May 12, 1925, in Little Ferry, N.J., son of the late Edward P. Sr. and Elsie Kratz Kinchley. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, reaching the rank of quartermaster second class. He received the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Medal, European Theater Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal and the Victory Medal. He was president of Volunteer Savings & Loan from 1947 until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the Lions Club, Little Ferry, N.J.; the Morgantown Lions Club, and Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ridgewood, N.J. He is survived by his wife, June O'Neill Kinchley; two sons and spouses, Edward P. III and Mary McGee Kinchley, of San Francisco, and James J. and Rebecca McGillivray Kinchley, of Swampscott, Mass.; a daughter and spouse, Holly K. and John Plunkett, of Morgantown; a brother and spouse, Jack and Sally Kinchley; a sister, Norma Louise Thomas; and four grandchildren, Douglas Kinchley, Peter Kinchley, Emma Beames and Tomo Watanabe. Rosedale Miller
Rosedale Miller, 75, of New Freeport, Pa., died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born April 14, 1925, in Littleton, daughter of the late P.B. and Myrtle E. Booth Gorby. She was the owner of the Log Cabin Service Station in New Freeport, Pa. She and her late husband, Forrest "Snuffy" Miller ran Miller's Grocery in Aleppo, Pa., from 1965-1969. After closing the grocery, they opened the Log Cabin Service Station. She was a charter member of the New Freeport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; a Greene County Democrat committeewoman; inspector of elections in Freeport Township; and served as a township auditor for many years. She was a graduate of Waynesburg High School Clas s of 1943 and a member of New Freeport Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons and spouses, Danny and Ruth Miller, of New Freeport, and Dennis "Pepper" and Vickie Miller, of Waynesburg, Pa.; two daughters and spouses, Connie and Richard Widdup, of Holbrook, Pa., and Cindy and Steve Varner, of Littleton; a brother, Zinn Gorby, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; three sisters, Jeraldine Eichberg, of Towson, Md., Deloris Kennedy, of New Freeport, and Myrtleann Gorby, of Hanoverton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Scott, Melinda and Melissa Miller, Tara, Todd and Natalie V arner and Michael Widdup; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Forrest "Snuffy" Miller, on March 3, 1986; her second husband, Paul DeGarmo, on June 18, 1994; and a brother, Harry R. Gorby. Laura Ethel Hammack
Laura Ethel Hammack, 89, of Terra Alta, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Garrett Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md. She was born Feb. 12, 1912, in Terra Alta, daughter of the late Walter D. and Mary Ella Bucklew Liston. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church, Terra Alta, and Evergreen Baptist Missionary Society. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Lee Metheny, of Terra Alta, with whom she made her home; a son, Robert Dailey Wolfe, of Terra Alta; three brothers, John A. Liston and Dailey Liston, both of Terra Alta, and Bobby Liston, of Wadestown; seven sisters, Ruby E. Ringer, of Reedsville, Georgie Sisler, of Terra Alta, Ida Row, of Morgantown, Betty Martino, of Wadestown, Maxine Friend and Lucy Mayne, both of Arthurdale, and Kathleen Emerson, of Kingwood; seven grandchildren, Twila, Donald, Kenneth, Barbara, Bobby, Patty and Delmas; 15 great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Patsy, Jamie, Tashina, Misty, Billie, Miranda, Kenneth Jr., Crystal, Daniel, Derrick, Curtis, Kyle, Scott and Amy; three great-great-grandchildren, Kieran, Brooke and Gracie. Ruth B. McDonald Greathouse, 87, of Fairchance, Pa., died Thursday, March 1, 2001. She was born Dec. 11, 1913, in Dellslow, daughter of the late Charles Wesley McDonald and Nannie Catherine McFadden McDonald. She was Protestant. She is survived by eight children and spouses, Joseph Charles and Connie Greathouse, of Key Largo, Fla.; Donna Jean and Martin Kloock, of Mentor, Ohio; Emil and Marie Greathouse, Carolyn and Francis Dutkewycz, Roger Lee and Debbie Greathouse, Terry Duane and Lee Ann Greathouse, Danny Eugene and Melinda Greathouse, all of Fairchance; and John L. and Linda Greathouse, of Warren, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister and spouse, Ethel "Mae" and Woodrow Wilson, of Fairchance; a sister-in- law, Hazel McDonald; and a brother-in-law, Frances McDonald. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Florence Gray Sams
Florence Gray Sams, 83, of Morgantown Unity Manor, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, in Monongalia General Hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1917, in Charles Town, daughter of the late Henry E. and Nellie Brown Birkitt. She was a member of the Spruce Street United Methodist Church for 59 years, its J.O.Y. Circle and the Wayside Helpers Sunday school class. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Fizer, of Morgantown; two sons, Douglas A. and Brian E. Sams, both of Morgantown; four grandsons, Douglas II, of Inwood, Jay Sams, of Martinsburg, Christoper Sams and Zackery Fizer, both of Morgantown; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Sams; a daughter, Mary Nell Phillips; a sister, Mason Frankhouser; and two brothers, Winston and Willard Birkitt. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Spruce Street United Methodist Church with Dr. Roger L. Smith and Dr. Stacey L. Groscup officiating. Ella Summers Jones
Ella Summers Jones, 84, of Oakland, Md., died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at Cherry Hill Assisted Living Residence in Accident, Md. She was born July 4, 1916, in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Goff and Mary Lynch Summers. She was a graduate of Glenville State College and attended West Virginia University. She had been a math and science teacher at high schools in Tanner, Widen, Rainelle, Glenville, Cheat Lake and Morgantown, where she retired in 1973. In 1985, she and her husband moved to Oakland from Morgantown. Since 1966, they have been summer residents at their cottage on Paradise Point in Deep Creek Lake, Md. She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Oakland. She had started a quilting class in the paris h hall there and had taught quilting to more than 200 women throughout Garrett County. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lloyd M. "Casey" Jones; a son and spouse, Judge William Goff and Christine Jones, of Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter and spouse, Sarah Elizabeth and Bruce Stuart, of Charlotte; two sisters, Susan Kleis, of Sykesville, Md., and Marybell Shaver, of Glenville; a brother, Goff Lynch Summers, of Glenville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was cremated. Service will be at noon, Saturday, April 14, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Oakland; and at Glenville Presbyterian Church in Glenville at a later date. Joseph Crane Weeks
Joseph Crane Weeks, 66, of Rocky Point, N.C., formerly of Oakland, Md., died Thursday, March 1, 2001, of cancer at home. He was born July 19, 1934, in Garrett County, Md., son of the late Raymond L. and Gladys Crane Weeks. He was employed in the insurance industry for 23 years as an agent for State Farm Insurance Co. and a regional sales manager for Federal Kemper Insurance Co. In later years, he was the owner of an after-market auto and truck parts business in Hagerstown, Md., from which he retired in 1996. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church, Rocky Point, N.C. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joann Hollen Weeks; a son, Joseph C. Weeks II, of Rocky Point; a daughter, Jennifer C. Hoyt, of Pinellas Park, Fla.; and three sisters, Marjorie W. DeBerry, of Cocoa, Fla., his twin, Jo-Ann Dodge, of Finksburg, Md., and Rayma Jean Weeks, of Mountain Lake Park, Md. Robert Joseph Holepit
Robert Joseph Holepit, 81, of Tremont Avenue, Morgantown, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Monongalia General Hospital. He was born June 2, 1919, in Connellsville, Pa., son of the late Edward and Mary Gurskey Holepit. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a construction worker and coal miner. He was also a member of the Labor International Union of North America, Local No. 379, a life member of the VFW Post 548, and a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church. He was a coach for the Little League baseball for both Rotary and Baker & Coombs teams. He was also an avid gardener and liked football. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anne Medvick Holepit, of Morgantown; a son, Robert J. Holepit Jr., of Morgantown; a grandson, Jeffrey Robert Holepit, of Morgantown; a granddaughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Holepit, of Morgantown; two sisters, Irene Burian, of Point Marion, Pa., and Cornella Sparks, of Jere; and a half brother, John Lako, of Jere. He was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Joseph Holepit, Lewis Holepit, Edward Holepit Jr., John Holepit, Bill Lako, Bailey Lako and Bradley Steven Lako; and a sister, Gizella Barko. Nina Mabel Graham
Nina Mabel Graham, 97, of Lenox Community, Albright, died Friday, March 2, 2001, in Windy Hill Manor Personal Care Home, Kingwood. She was born Aug. 14, 1903, in Albright, daughter of the late Sanford Henry and Jessie Blanche Welch Hartman. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons and spouses, Elwyn and Madeline Graham, and Clayton and Bonnie Graham, all of Albright; a daughter, Evejean Bolinger, of Lenox; seven grandchildren, Carol Hynes, of Anoka, Minn., Michael Graham and Rick Graham, both of Bruceto Mills, Mark Graham and Candy Hayes, both of Kingwood, William F. Bolinger II, of Lenox, and Lisa Fearer, of Albright; 14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Alga Miller; and a son-in-law, William F. Jerry L. Keener
Jerry L. Keener, 51, of Fairmont, died Friday, March 2, at Fairmont General Hospital, after a long illness. He was born April 21, 1949, in Fairmont, son of the late Alva "Jack" Keener and C. Lucille Lance Keener Gill Carroll. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969-1971 during the Vietnam War. He also served in the Marine Corps reserves. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Viola Union Mission Church. His hobbies were fishing and hunting. He is survived by a son, Shawn Keener, of Indiana; a daughter, Charity Keener, of Fairmont; a brother, Jeff Gill, of Elkins; four half brothers, Henry Gill, of Mannington, James Gill and Orvil Gill, both of Virginia, and Carl Gill, of Florida; five half sisters, Mary Ellen Fulk, Edith Jane Simpson and Patsy Bennett, all of Virginia, Virginia Wilson, of Fairmont, and Barbara Lance, of Grafton; two grandsons; a granddaughter; two uncles and spouses, Harry and Terri Lance, of Colfax, and James and Barbara Lance, of Grafton; a stepfather, Paul Carroll, of Fairmont; and close friends, the Rev. Donald and Lou Stemple. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence "Pop" and Irene Lance. John 'Ace' Adams Sr.
John "Ace" Adams Sr., 70, of Fairmont, died March 1, 2001, at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born June 8, 1930, in Barrackville, son of the late Thomas and Mary Saponos Adams. He was retired from Americlean Systems Inc. He was also a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish in Fairmont. He was also an avid pool shooter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Stibler Adams; two daughters and spouses, Linda and Joe Yearace, and Debbie and David Merrill, all of Fairmont; a son, Thomas Adams, of Nutter Fort; his mother-in-law, Goldie Stibler, of Fairmont; two sisters and spouses, Mary Helen and David Nickolich, of Fairmont, Margaret and Don Cleveland, of Oregon; a sister-in-law, Juanita Adams, of Fairmont; and eight grandchildren, Jason and Kelli Wright, Mandy, Andrew, Lauren and Chelsea Adams, and Dustin and Devina Merrill. He was also preceded in death by a son, John "Ace" Adams Jr.; five brothers, Julius, James, Andrew, Thomas and William Adams; and a sister, Josphine Star. Frances Smiers
Frances Marie Astrino Smiers, 76, of Fairmont, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Fairmont General Hospital, after a long illness. She was born Oct. 7, 1924, in Chiefton, daughter of the late Rosario and Rosa Astorino. She graduated from Fairmont Senior High School and worked at the Westinghouse Lamp plant from 1943-1950. She was a homemaker. She also enjoyed watching sports and daytime soap operas. She was Catholic. She is survived by two daughters and spouses, Monie and Mattio J. Mugnano, and Nancy and Joseph A. Romeo, all of Fairmont; two sons and spouses, Richard and Sharon Smiers, and David and Barbara Smiers, all of Fairmont; a brother, Ben Astrino, of Fairmont; eight grandchildren, Mattio, Michael and Jamie Mugnano, Joe and Rachel Romeo, Samantha Smiers, Jennifer and Brian Smiers. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Walter C. Smiers, who died Dec. 13, 1987; two brothers, John Astrino and Salvatore Asterino; and a sister, Victoria Astorino. The body is being cremated. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fairmont at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, with the Rev. Casey Mahone as celebrant. Olive Pearl Mitchell
Olive Pearl Mitchell, 90, of Fairview, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at County Comfort Personal Care Home. She was born May 10, 1910, in Confluence, Pa., daughter of the late Lula Parker. She is survived by a half sister, Dorothy Eddy, of Akron, Ohio; and two half nephews, Gary Eddy, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and James Goughenour, of McKeesport, Pa. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Dolly Lamos, Lea Lander, Bertha Keffer and Evelyn Goughenour; and two brothers, Ernest Osler and Orville Desellems. Florence H. Dillow
Florence H. Rowan Dillow, 70, of Millersville Community, Fairmont, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born March 12, 1930, in Baxter, daughter of the late John Addison and Holly Mae Ryan Rowan. She was employed in her youth by the C&P Telephone Co. and retired from Westinghouse/North American Philips after 30 years of service. She and her husband were folk artists and tole painters and crafted clocks and other woodcrafts. She was a Telephone Pioneer Life member, a member of the Wednesday Housewives Bowling League, the Young at Heart (Central United Methodist Church) and the Class of 1948 Fairmont Senior High School Reunion Committee. She attended Grace Lutheran Church. She was a direct descendant of John Francis Rowan, of Ireland, who was exiled to America in the 18th century by the English for authoring and distributing articles on "Home Rule." His son, the Rev. John Rowan, served in the American Revolution for the patriots under Capt. Samuel Smith and later purchased land in Randolph County, Va., near Roaring Creek, now known as Mabie, the birthplace of her father, John Addison Rowan. She attended the annual Rowan family reunion in Mabie in August of every year. She is survived by five daughters and spouses, Nancy and Donald Hibbs, of Fairmont, Judith Dillow, of Warren, Ohio, Mary Stewart and Sandra Vilar, both of Fairmont, and the Rev. Donna and David "Gene" Hawkins, of Winchester, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Christopher Hibbs, Tracy Childers, Lara Deem, Andrew Carter, Erin and Ryan Vilar, and Jessica, Jacob, Ashleigh and Elijah Hawkins; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Childers. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Arthur Dale "Sonny" Dillow; five brothers, Clinton Sherwood Rowan, John Ellwood Rowan, Edgar Osborn Rowan, Stanford Grey Rowan and Woodford Rowan; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Viola Appel Dillow. Salvatore Jimmie
Salvatore "Sam" Jimmie, 74, of Rivesville, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born Dec. 23, 1926, in Rivesville, son of the late Joseph and Angeline Collosimo Jimmie. He was a member of the St. Peter Fisherman Catholic Church, Fairmont, and Our Lady Assumption, Rivesville. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War for two years. He was retired from Fairmont State College, working in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Fairmont Moose Lodge. He also was an active leader in the community of Rivesville. He is survived by a son and spouse, Greg and Yvonne Jimmie, of Riverton, Utah; a daughter and friend, Paulette Marie Cimino and Ron Simmons, of Midvale, Utah; two brothers and spouses, John and Phyllis Jimmie, of Fairmont, and Sam and Jean Jimmie, of Morgantown; a sister, Rose Gallo, of Bayside, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Melissa Joiner, Corinne Staley, Andrea and Gregory Salvatore Jimmie, and Jay Freeman, all of Utah, and Rockee Freeman, of Marrow, Ga.; and seven sisters-in-law, Ann, Veronica "Sis," and Helen Jimmie, all of Rivesville, Mary Lord, of New York, Julie Hanlan, of Loraine, Ohio, Sophia Rowan, of Baxter, and Fay Smerka, of Morgantown. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Tony, Bennie, Joseph, Charlie and Emil Jimmie; and two sisters, Fanny and Catherine Leva. Kara Jo Gum
Kara Jo Gum, 69, of Daybrook, died Friday, March 2, 2001, at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born May 28, 1931, in Daybrook, daughter of the late Arley Earl and Dossie Dell Ammons Hamilton. She was a member of Daybrook Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Cecil Buster Gum; five sons and spouses, Cecil Earl and Debbie Gum, of Wana, Jackie P. and Myra Gum, of Oriville, Ohio, Don J. and Molly Gum, of Daybrook, Bobby G. Gum, of Daybrook, and Billy K. Gum, of Morgantown; a daughter, Regina S. Eddy, of Blacksville; a brother and spouse, Don and June Hamilton, of Daybrook; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Carney David Gum; an infant daughter; a great-grandchild; a brother, Denzil (Dink) Hamilton; and three sisters, Lorna Tennant, Leona Wilson, and Regina Fordyce. Dominic A. Berolatti
Dominic A. Berolatti, 77, of Vienna, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born in Morgantown, son of the late Pete and Teresa Marco Berolatti. He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. He is survived by a brother, Pete Berolatti, of Parkersburg; and four sisters, Fanny Berolatti, of Vienna, Virginia Wytko, of Parkersburg, Anna Wytko, of Arizona, and Catherine D'Abate, of Pittsburgh. Margaret Jones
Margaret Jones, 75, of Tyrone Avery Road, Cheat Lake, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, in Green Cove Springs, Fla. She was born March 24, 1925, in Fairmont, daughter of the late John and Madge Summers DeVault. She had been employed as an inspector at the Morgan Shirt Factory and also worked at Neely's Florist and was a member of the Westover Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter and spouse, Rosemary and Charles E. Dudley Sr., of Morgantown; a son, Bradley M. Jones, of Morgantown; a brother, John DeVault, of Silver Springs, Md.; two sisters, Lucille Ruziska, of Phoenix, and Luella Willard, of Westover; two grandchildren, Kimberly Bolyard and Malissa Carrallino; and four great-grandchildren, Chasity Dudley, Kevin Rowan, and Louie and Seria Carrallino. Richard R. Crow
Word has been received on the death of Richard R. Crow, 85, of Rocky River, Ohio, who died at home. He was born in Point Marion, Pa. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from California State Teachers College in 1936 and earned a master's degree in industrial arts from Ohio State University in 1938. He worked for the aircraft division of Curtiss-Wright Industries in Columbus, Ohio. He also worked for U.S. Rubber Co., in New York. He was a management consultant and former personnel executive for Stouffer's Corp. and the Sherwin-Williams Co. He belonged to human resources organizations and was active with the National Personnel Roundt able. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary J. Crow; a daughter, Megan Barnette, of Lexington, Ky.; a son, Philip Crow, of Jackson, Mich.; and five grandchildren. Services were held at Westwood Country Club, Rocky River.
