Ninfa F. Ader
ATHENS - Ninfa F. Ader, 70, of Riverside Street died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Rogersville with the Rev. Pat Driskel officiating.
Burial will be in Wallace Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Ader retired as vice president of United Jersey Bank in Flanders, N.J., and was a member of Eastern Star and the American Legion Womens Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Frederick Ader of Athens; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol A. Field and Jeffrey Field of Athens; two brothers, Joseph Feneck of Port Morris, N.J., and Vincent Feneck of Dover, N.J.; and two sisters, Marion ORourke of Rockway, N.J., and Carmella Williams of Mine Hill, N.J.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Limestone County or the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church building fund.

Gladys Blankenship
ATHENS - Gladys McGuire Blankenship, 81, of 21567 Bean Road died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 11 a.m. at McConnell Chapel with Dr. Carl Witty and the Rev. Robert Fudge officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Blankenship was a lifelong resident of Limestone County. She served for many years as a Red Cross volunteer at the Athens-Limestone Hospital and was a member of Ephesus Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Billie Sue Whitt of Athens; two brothers, Jimmy McGuire of Athens and Johnny McGuire of Herndon, Va.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Dorothy T. Blue
Dorothy T. Blue, 77, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. William H. Bostick Jr. officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home will in charge.
Mrs. Blue was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Blue.
Survivors include three sons, John D. Blue and William T. Blue, both of Huntsville, and Ernie C. Blue of Los Angeles; two daughters, Donna D. Blue of Huntsville and Lani Blue Taylor of Oakland, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be sent to Girls Inc., 4600 Blue Springs Road, Huntsville 35810.

Garland D. Brown
PONTIAC, Mich. - Garland D. Brown, 80, formerly of Huntsville, died Tuesday in a Pontiac hospital. A memorial service will be today at Summerford Funeral Home in Pontiac.
Survivors include one daughter, Melody Batozynski of Pontiac; three sons, Ricky Brown of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Dewayne Brown of Pontiac and Larry Brown of Pontiac; two brothers, John D. Brown and Kelley Brown, both of Huntsville; and eight grandchildren.

Janie Stevens Brown
TAFT, Tenn. - Janie Stevens Brown, 85, died Thursday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Timothy Dawson officiating.
Mrs. Brown taught school for many years in Madison and Limestone counties, including Harvest and Ardmore.
Survivors include six sons, Paul Brown of Madison, Jonathan Brown of Harvest, Timothy Brown of Cowan, Tenn., Joel Brown of Shorewood, Minn., John Stephen Brown of Estill Springs, Tenn., and Elmon H. Brown Jr. of Bristol, Va.; five daughters, Judith Lamb of Toney, Sarah Brown of Florence, Rebecca Wells of Madison, Miss., Cynthia Williams of Silver Spring, Md., and Ann Glover of Federal Way, Wash.; 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be sent to Taft Baptist Church.

Ida Bell Connally
GUNTERSVILLE - Ida Bell Connally, 64, of 3613 Perry St. died Wednesday at a Marshall County hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be at Hayden Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Connally; two daughters, Stephanie Hillis of Grant and Janice Washco of Trinity; four sons, Frankie Lynn Hudgins of Woodville, Stanley Hudgins of Grant, William Ray Hudgins of Springville and Turman Meckling of Owens Cross Roads; two stepdaughters, Kaye Holling of Taft, Tenn., and Judy Springer of Athens; one stepson, Paul Connally of New Mexico; four sisters, Juwel Wiley of Huntsville, Pearl Haga of Valhermoso Springs, Dovie Whitehead of Oneonta and Patricia Cash of Ohio; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nora Inez Diehl
Nora Inez Diehl, 89, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Williamd ''Eddie Diehl of Huntsville; two daughters, Nancy Irene SMith of Grapevine, Texas, and Evelyn Atmore of Tennessee; one brother, William ''Bill Blankenship of Huntsville; four sisters, Wilma Andrews of Harvest, Margaret Hulsey of Toney, Mary Sanderson of Pulaski, Tenn., and Alda Slayton of Cantonment, Fla.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Billy W. Dorning
WINCHESTER - Billy Wayne Dorning, 57, died Tuesday at a Tennessee nursing home. The burial was Friday at Tuck Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one brother, James W. Dorning of Huntsville; and three nieces.

George Fowler Jr.
GRIFFIN, Ga. - George Wallace Fowler Jr., 78, of 1404 MacArthur Dr. died Friday, Nov. 20 at his home. A memorial service will be Sunday at Gurley Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ron Bynum officiating.
Mr. Fowler was a Marine veteran who served in World War II and the Korean War and attained the rank of captain. He lived in Griffin three years after spending many years in Huntsville. Mr. Fowler was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Griffin.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Fowler; one son, George Wallace ''Buck Fowler of Huntsville, one sister, Helen Scott of Peachtree City, Ga., and two grandchildren, Jesslyn Grace Fowler and Christopher Wallace Fowler, both of Huntsville.
Memorial donations may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church in Griffin, Ga., at 1349 Macon Road 30223.

Carolyn Jeffress
DECATUR - Carolyn J. Jeffress, 69, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Scotty Letson and the Rev. Buddy Simmons officiating.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Town Creek.
Mrs. Jeffress, a retired nurse, was born in Lawrence County and was a member of Courtland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlyn ''Jeff Jeffress.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Lynn of Guntersville and Felton Blackwood of Decatur; one daughter, Susan Mayhall of Huntsville; her mother, Susie Hill of Courtland; two brothers, Coy Hill of Decatur and James Hill of Town Creek; five sisters, Helen Givens of Courtland, Shelva Hardy of Decatur, Melba Peebles and Patricia Moreland, both of Town Creek, and Nancy Tolbert of Columbia, Tenn.; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert H. Lanford
OWENS CROSS ROADS - Robert H. Lanford, 63, of 1083 Cave Spring Road died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be at Gurley Cemetery.
Survivors include two brothers, Clarence Lee Lanford of Brownsboro and Monroe G. Lanford of Owens Cross Roads; one sister, Sylvia Moore of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home.

Cynthia McNair
ATTALLA - Cynthia McNair, 91, died Wednesday at a hospital. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Jackson and the Rev. George Harris officiating.
Burial will be in Reeves Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. McNair lived most of her life in Etowah County and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley ''Roy McNair.
Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Silvey of Rainbow City; three sons, Robert McNair of Huntsville, Gordon McNair of Gadsden and Bill Wilson of Attalla; two sisters, Lillie Mae Hickman of Gadsden and Ethelyn Tarrance of Southside; two brothers, Claude Hollingsworth of Opelika and J.T. Hollingsworth of Glencoe; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Louise Miller
PISGAH - Louise Miller, 82, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Crump and the Rev. Elmer Bishop officiating.
Burial will be in Goosepond Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Miller.
Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie OLinger of Pisgah; one sister, Carolyn Andrews of Chattanooga; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lessie Moon
GUNTERSVILLE - Lessie Moon, 92, of a local nursing home died Thursday at the nursing home. The funeral will be today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, James Moon of Pinson and Arvil Moon of Guntersville; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

George Ray Neely
FAYETTEVILLE - George Ray Neely, 83, of 12 John Poole Road died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Jenkins officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Neely was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ, an Army veteran and a retiree from Continental Oil Co. of New York City.
Survivors include two brothers, Woodie Neely of Fayetteville and Clay Neely, a twin, of Hazel Green ; three nieces, Mary Wade Rucker of Nashville and Brenda Malone and Nancy Lindsay, both of Hazel Green ; and several great-nephews and nieces.

Willard Nicholson
ATHENS - Willard Neil Nicholson, 62, of Easter Ferry Road died Friday at a Decatur hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Craig officiating.
Burial will be in Athens Cemetery.
Mr. Nicholson was born Nov. 9, 1936, in Limestone County. He was a retiree from Fluid Drive in Brookston, Ind., and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include one son, Douglas E. Nicholson of Athens; two sisters, Ruby Clinard of Athens and Syble Cribbs of Bellwood, Ill.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Ruth Rosenheimer
GUNTERSVILLE - Ruth Rosenheimer, 90, of 307 Bayshore Dr. died Friday at a local hospital. The memorial service and Burial will be announced later.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Rosenheimer; one daughter, Thelma Parris of San Diego; two sons, Mark Rosenheimer of San Francisco and John Rosenheimer of Reno, Nev.

Gerald W. Treadway
MADISON - Gerald Wayne Treadway, 53, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, at his home. The graveside service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Taylor Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty Kirk of Memphis and Brenda Hayes of Southaven, Miss.; and one brother, Franklin Treadway of Memphis.
