Springdale, Arkansas
Josiah David May, 20, of Springdale, AR died Friday,
November 20, 2015. He was born February 13, 1995 in Little
Rock, AR to Doug and Amy Deason May.

Josiah was a 2014 graduate of HarBer High School. He earned
the rank of Eagle Scout in 2012, with Troop 777 of Rogers.
In addition to his parents, Josiah is survived by two brothers,
Sean Andrew and his wife, Amanda of Valdosta, GA, Nathan
Lewis May of the home, and one sister, Katie Leigh May of
Springdale.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Monday, November 23,
2015 in The Lodge at Fellowship Bible Church, 1051 W.
Pleasant Grove Rd, Rogers, AR 72758.

Graveside service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, November
24, 2015 at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers with Tom
Stockdale officiating.

Memorials may be made to Josiah May Memorial Scholarship
Fund, c/o Randon Arney, 1811 Lankinshire Place, Springdale,
AR 72762 for the benefit of deserving scouts.

Margaret Christine Staats McGee
August 5, 1932 - September 18, 2015
Gravette, Arkansas
Margaret Christine (Staats) McGee, 83, of Gravette, Arkansas passed away
Friday, September 18, 2015 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She was born
August 5, 1932 in Summerfield, Texas to Oliver Theodore Staats and
MaryBelle (Atchley) Staats.

She was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Gravette for many
years. Margaret enjoyed many hobbies including flower gardening, painting,
music, quilting and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life - and husband of
64 years, Lyndal McGee in 2014; son, Jimmy McGee; daughter, Tammy
McGee; two grandchildren, Jesse McGee, Rick Nehrbas, and one brother,
Joe Staats.

She is survived by three children, Randy (Darla) McGee of Siloam Springs,
Arkansas, Larry (Sandy) McGee of Gravette, Arkansas and Linda (Rob)
Nehrbas of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter-n-law Jodie Olive of Lewisburg,
Tennessee; 15 grandchildren, Josh Caruthers, Chris McGee, Krisha McGee
(Jeremiah) Jech, Sam McGee, Sean (Megan) McGee, Isabella King, Missy
(Chester) Passmore, Robby (Elisha) McGee, Brandi (Blake) Larmon,
Geoffery McGee and Ramsay (Sarah) McGee, Rob (Karyn) Nehrbas, Aron
(Kendal) Matthews, Jessica (Mark) Harrington, and Nicole Nehrbas; 17
great-grandchildren, Kyra Hook, Lexie Passmore, Hannah Passmore, Ched
Passmore, Ethan Powell, Emily Jech, Jordan Jech, Addie McGee, Rylee
McGee, Genevieve Rose McGee, Cayden McGee, Zachary Caruthers,
Aurora Matthews, Bastian Matthews, Calli Matthews, Tessa Nehrbas and
Connor Nehrbas. She is also survived by two brothers, Gene (Shirley) Staats
of Murfreesboro, TN, Robert (Linda) Staats of Hiwasse, AR, and sister-n-
law, Lucetta Staats of Shell Knob, MO.

Funeral services will be at 10:00Am, Saturday, September 26th, 2015 at
Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers, AR with the Rev. Terry
Longan officiating.

Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park cemetery in Rogers.

Visitation will be from 9:00AM until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Circle
of Life Hospice, 1201 NE Legacy Pkwy, Bentonville, AR, 72712.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of
Rogers.

Elmer Ira Stetler
January 24, 1924 - January 29, 2015
Bella Vista, Arkansas
Elmer Ira Stetler, 91, of Bella Vista, Ark. was called home by The Lord
Thursday, January 29, 2015. He was born January 24, 1924 in Olivet, South
Dakota to Lloyd Stetler and Maggie Boegler Stetler.

He proudly served in the United States Navy.

Elmer worked as a truck driver, successfully logging over 3 million miles with a
perfect safety record. He loved to hunt, play golf and was an avid St. Louis
Cardinals fan. He was a faithful member of Bella Vista Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings.

Elmer is survived by his wife of 64 years, Beverly; two daughters, Deanna
Kwyzla and husband, John of Bella Vista, Terry Herrington of West Monroe,
LA; two brothers, Harold Stetler, Verlin Stetler and wife Vi; three grandson’s,
Ryan Kwyzla, Brant Kwyzla, Shane Herrington; one great-granddaughter,
Kiersten and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 1:30, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Bella Vista
Baptist Church with Pastor Michael McCauley officiating.

Burial will be in the National cemetery in Fayetteville with military honors
provided by the Navy.

In honor of Elmer Stetler memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Baptist
Church, 50 East Lancashire Boulevard, Bella Vista, AR 72714.

Jack Edwin Thames
August 5, 2015 - August 6, 2016
Rogers, Arkansas
Jack Edwin Thames, infant son, born August 5th, 2015 in
Rogers, AR to John and Brigid Thames, met Jesus on August
6, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Jack is survived by his parents, John and Brigid Thames of
Rogers; paternal grandmother, Pam Thames, Fort Smith;
maternal grandparents, Patrick and Kathy Godbold,
Russellville; paternal great grandparents, Elizabeth Ann
Chaffee, Onaway, MI and John A. Zeder, Bloomfield, MI;
maternal great grandparents, Dorothy Nash Nunn and Walter &
Sue Godbold, Jackson, MS; uncles, David Thames & Matthew
Thames, Fort Smith, Michael Godbold, Kampala Uganda,
Africa and Kyle Godbold of Fayetteville.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Glenn
Thames.

Funeral services will be at 9:00AM, Saturday, August 15, in
the Bild Training Center Chapel at Fellowship Bible Church,
Rogers, with Pastor Blaine Rogers of Connect Church,
Russellville and Pastor Justin Rusinoski, Fellowship Bible
Church, Rogers, officiating. Burial will follow at Babyland
cemetery in Rogers cemetery.

Memorials may be made in memory of Jack Thames, to
Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 2222,
Little Rock, 72203.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody

John Edward Vermillion
March 17, 1939 - November 4, 2015
Bella Vista, Arkansas
John Edward Vermillion, 76, of Bella Vista, Arkansas
went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on
Wednesday, November 4, 2015. John was born March
17, 1939 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Charley and Birdie
Baker Vermillion.
He proudly served in the United States Army and
graduated from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Mo.
John had a successful career as Vice-President of
Finance at the Computer Science Corporation in Kansas
City for many years, yet his most notable success was
found in his roles of loving and dedicated father to his
boys, and confidante and best friend to his wife of 29
years. John was an honest and humble man with a
servant's heart who valued family, people from all walks
of life, and most of all, his faith. He was an active
member of Cross Church in Rogers Arkansas.
John was preceded in death by his father, Charley
Vermillion, his mother, Birdie Mae Baker Witter; one
brother, Ronnie Vermillion and one sister, Barbara
Vermillion.
John is survived by his wife, Susan Foulkes Vermillion;
three sons, Joseph Vermillion of Medina, Ohio, Jason
Vermillion of Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, Jeffery
Vermillion of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, four brothers,
Charles Vermillion and wife, Norma, William Vermillion,
Jim Vermillion and wife Karyl, Roy Vermillion and wife,
Mary Jane; and three sisters, Peggy Arthur, Linda
Vermillion, Nancy Taylor and husband Mark; numerous
nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
A celebration honoring John’s life will be held at 3:
00PM, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Chapel on the
Creeks in Rogers, Arkansas with the Reverend Doug
Davidson officiating.

Church, 416 South Broadway Street, Medina, Ohio,

Darvone Anton Baier

Darvone 'Darv' Anton Baier, 80, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away
Friday, October 16, 2015 at Circle of Life in Bentonville, Arkansas.
He was born April 1, 1935 in New Ulm, MN to Anton and Estelle
Suess Baier.

He was proud to have served in United States Marines in Korea and
Japan. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He
was of the Catholic faith.

He loved life. He never met a stranger and loved telling jokes and
stories and making people smile. He enjoyed going out on the lake
and fishing with his son, Brad every Sunday and Thursday. He was
an avid gardener. He loved to cook and have parties. His specialty
was BBQ Ribs and sauerkraut. He also loved making daily trips to
Walmart.

Darv loved his wife, children, grandchildren and his puppies very
much. He spent as much time with them as he could.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kelly and one brother,
Jim Baier.

Darv is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean Gleisner Baier; son,
Brad Baier and wife, Angelia of Rogers; daughter, Stacie Baier of
Tucson, AZ; daughter-in-law, Wendy South of Grand Island, NE; one
sister, LaDonna Alfson; one sister-in-law, Dolores Baier; 7
grandchildren, Adrian J. Baier-Ruiz, Libby J. Giedraitis, Kyrra
Baier, Jaron Baier, Savana Clausen and husband Chad, Travis Baier
and wife Cassie, Shamlynn Berggren and husband Troy and 7 great-
grandchildren, Jocelyn, Taylor, Zaden, Naleah, Colten, Brayden and
Brooklyn.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until 4:00PM, Tuesday, October 20,
2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers with a Rosary
at 3:00PM. Following the Rosary military honors will be provided.

Gary Stephen Burnside, 58, of Rogers, AR passed away Friday,
Dec. 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born
Feb. 17, 1957 in Lake Forest, IL to Stephen and Betty Ann
Latterell Burnside.

He had a love for fishing and spending time with his family. He
will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Gary is survived by loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, December
11, 2015 at Rogers cemetery with Deacon Ronnie Hoyt
officiating.

Memorials may be to the Rogers Animal Shelter, 2935 W. Oak
St. Rogers, AR 72758.

Pamela Sue Carlisle

Pamela Sue Carlisle, 59, of Bentonville, AR passed away
December 11, 2015 at Northwest Medical Center. She was
born February 8, 1956 in Hazard, KY to Kenneth and Louise
Parker Williamson.
She had a love for life, family and friends!
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Pam is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Blankenship and
husband, Kyle of Bentonville; a brother, Tim Williamson and
wife, Lisa of Richmond, KY; a sister, Patricia Williamson of
Hazard, KY; two granddaughters, Avery and Gracyn
Blankenship.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Tuesday,
December 15, 2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in
Rogers.

Andre D. Crawford, 54, of Bentonville passed away Monday,
April 13, 2015. He was born December 19, 1960.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman and Maudie
Crawford. Andre is survived by his wife, Vernell; two sons,
Mytaah Crawford, Andre Crawford and wife, Markia all of
Bentonville; one sister, Yvette Robinson of Ruston, La.; one
grandson, Aiden and host of nieces and nephews.

2015 at the Dwelling Place Church, 1855 N Porter Rd.,
