ALBANY - Bill Frank Powell Sr., 82, of Albany died Saturday, October 5, 2002.
The funeral service will be held today, 2 PM at Central Baptist Church with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Edd Spurlock will officiate.
A native of Newnan, GA, Mr. Powell had lived in Albany for the past 38 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Crusaders Sunday School Class. He was in building maintenance at the church for 17 years. A veteran of WW II, Mr. Powell served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes D. Powell.
Survivors include his sons, William P. Powell of Dallas, Texas, Warren D. Powell of Anderson, S.C., B. Frank Powell Jr. of Grayson, GA, and Joel T. Powell of Albany; 9 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Asa Powell of Newnan, GA.

MOULTRIE - Elaine Howell Bundy, 59, of 516 Tree Farm Road, Moultrie, died Monday, October 7, 2002, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Chapel with interment in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Dion Brown and the Rev. Ronald Barrett will officiate.
Casketbearers will be Robb Howell, Rantz Murphy, Clint Murphy, Jimmy Dickens, Robby Dickens, and Chris Littleton.
A native of Bibb County, GA, Mrs. Bundy was born February 14, 1943. She was owner and operator of Elaine's Beauty Shop and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Bundy was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Steele Howell and Robert M. Howell Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Brantley Merrell Bundy of Moultrie; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Duke and wife Velda of Moultrie; daughter and son-in-law, Connie Duke Patterson and husband Mike of Moultrie; grandchildren, Brooke Ellis, Hailey Duke, Taylor Duke, all of Moultrie; brother, Robert M. Howell Jr. of Moultrie; and three sisters, Sandra Howell Murphy of Leesburg, Dale Howell Jones of Ocean Springs, MS, and Debbie Howell Goans of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.
Visitation will be 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
