Passed away Thursday, February 4, 1999, at Saint Mary's hospital. Age 39 years. Arrangements by the Cederberg Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. on Saturday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Family would like to thank the people of Saginaw who had sent cards and said many prayers for Tina's recovery. Traverse City, Michigan area and enjoyed sports. Survivors include his wife, Mary of Traverse City; one daughter, Carly M. Herweyer of Traverse City; his mother, Gertrude Herweyer of Saginaw; his grandmother, Nellie Doehring of Saginaw; three sisters, Judith A. (Michael) Nagy of Saginaw; Rose Mary (Joseph) Smith of Corpus Christi, Michigan.
Passed away Wednesday evening, February 3, 1999, at the Timberstone Adult Foster Care in Remus, Mich. after a lengthy illness. Age 80 years. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Home, Freeland.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 1999 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland. Rev. Fr. Larry Pashak will officiate with a private committal service 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 1999 at St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery in Saginaw. Friends may call at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home, 310 E. Michigan.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 1999 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Robert Konopa, O.F.M., will officiate with entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Prayer Service 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Passed away Wednesday, February 3, 1999, at her residence at the age of 86 after a short illness. Leola was born November 29, 1912 in Mayville, Illinois; six grandchildren, Jon, Sara, Molly, DeLynn, Scott, Marcy; three great-grandchildren, Kellen, Mykaela, Kyle; five nieces and nephews; one sister, Vera Temple of Vassar and one sister- in-law, Eulah Mason of Grand Blanc. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a great- grandson. Funeral services for Leola will be Saturday, February 6, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at Vassar Baptist Church with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Vassar. Pastor Douglas Stockwell will officiate the services. Friends may call at the Hanlin Chapel for Funerals in Vassar on Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Leola will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
