A resident of Coden, AL died Sunday, December 5, 1999. Funeral services will be held today at 2:00 P.M. from Charles Haynes Lodge with interment in Dorlon Cemetery. Arrangements by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Mobile, AL.

Patricia Welch Kimble:
Born to the union of Frank & Luverne Welch, Sr. departed this life on Saturday, December 4, 1999 in McIntosh, AL. She leaves to cherish her memory, a husband, Thomas (Jed) Kimble of McIntosh, AL; a son, Alton Wilson; a daughter, Luverne Taylor of Detroit, MI; her parents, Frank Welch, Sr. of Detroit, MI, Luverne (Amos) Thompson of Citronelle; three brothers, Wallace (Aletta) Welch, Melvin Gragham of Citronelle, AL, Frank Welch, Jr. of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Paulette Welch and Sheila (Derrick) Holloway of Detroit, MI; six grandchildren, mother-in-law, Mrs. Hattie Kimble; four brothers-in-law, six sisters-in-law, nine aunts, nine uncles, one great aunt, Azalene Welch, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church, Thursday, December 9, 1999 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral with Rev. Jacques West, Pastor, Rev. Ida Pritchett officiating. Interment in Carlo Cemetery, Citronelle, AL. Sympathetic and professional services are by MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 1302 Viaduct Street, Prichard, AL.

Mrs. Eva Christine Lofton Storey:
A native of Noxapater, MS and resident of Saraland, died on Monday, December 6, 1999 in a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, William Curtis Storey; four children, William D. (Nancy) Storey, Carolyn (Thomas P.) Toomey, Kenneth L. (Pauline) Storey, and R. Patrick (Susan) Storey; one sister, Betty Copeland, Jackson, MS; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, December 8, 1999 from 5-8 PM . Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, December 9, 1999 at 10 AM. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, AL.

Mildred Luker White:
Born December 24, 1910 in Lasca, AL and a resident of Mobile for 66 years, died Sunday, December 5, 1999. She is the daughter of the late Robert Straugher Luker and Lucinda (Lucy) Elizabeth Digman Luker. She is survived by one daughter, Fredda White-Crenshaw of Destin, FL; two grandsons, George Roland Crenshaw, III, and Luker Keith White Crenshaw, both of Mobile, AL; three sisters, Lucille Luker Centanni, Saraland, AL, Ella Faire Luker Sasser, Crestview, FL, and Mary Catherine Franklin Luker, Brewton, AL; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of The Pines Mausoleum, Pine Crest Cemetery on Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at 11:00 AM. The family wil l also receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM in The Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 808 Downtowner Blvd, Suite G, Mobile, AL 36609 or Pressley Street Baptist Church Children's Program, 903 South Pressley Street, Atmore, AL 36502. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Veda Mae Willis:
Age 78, native of Langston and longtime resident of the Mobile area, died on Monday, December 6, 1999 at a local nursing facility. Mrs. Willis was a charter member of the Lott Road Church of God where she also previously served as Youth Director. She was also a member, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by four children, Howard (Margaret) Anderson of Chalmette, LA, Marie (James) McLeod of Wilmer, Jerry (Lilly) Anderson of Semmes, and Jimmy (Brenda) Anderson of Eight Mile; one sister, Dot Kutts of Newman, GA; nine grandchildren, Becky (Dion) Pizzatola of Chalmette, LA, Connie (Troy) Constance of Chalmette, LA, Sandy (Danny) Fincher of Semmes, Jim (Ellen) McLeod of Wilmer, Lee Anderson of Columbus, GA, Darlene (Roland) Boykin of Gilbertown, AL, Michelle (Paul) Stokley of Semmes, Ashley (Eric) Peacock of Wilmer, and Tonya (Richard) O'Gwynn of Eight Mile; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 1999 from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 9, 1999, 2PM from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Lott Road Church of God. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, AL.

Mr. Levi C. Young:
Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Radney Belmany Funeral Home, Grelot Rd., on Tuesday, December 7, 1999 at 12:00 noon. Officiated by Rev. Jeff Spiller. The Eulogy and remarks were offered by Past Potentate Hank Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers were, all Past Potentates, Divan Members and the Nobilty of Abba Temple Shrine. Active pallbearers were, Brothers, Herman Smith, Drake Smith, Dr. Joseph Nix, Jr., Christopher Thornton, Claude Stringfellow, Fred Dean, Sr., Bob Womack, Robert Bolton, Richard E. Lee and Ben Bailey. Masonic Graveside services were rendered by Athelistan Lodge #369 F&AM with past Grand Master, Marvin E. Leachman 33rd Degree presiding. Interment was in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY-BELMANY FUNERAL HOME, 6110 Grelot Road, Mobile, Alabama 36606.

Mrs. Henrietta Bell:
A native of Orrville, AL and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL departed this life Sunday, December 5, 1999. Mrs. Bell was a retired employee of the United States Army Corp of Engineers. She was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her only devoted brother, Leroy Wright, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted sister-in-law, Arvilue Wright of Mobile, AL; two devoted nieces, Mrs. Joann Williams and Mrs. Annie Lou (Willie) Coleman all of Mobile, AL; one devoted cousin, Mrs. Diesey Mosley of Detroit, MI; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, one devoted friend, Mrs. Mary Gallery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 1999 at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 1151 Congress St. from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour with Rev. Fred Autrey, Pastor and officiating minister. Interment will be in the Gethsemane Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to HODGES FUNERAL CHAPEL, 701 Dr. M.L. King Ave., Mobile, AL.
