Edwin L. Kimbrough Jr.

Edwin Lee Kimbrough Jr., 42, of Clarksville died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at his home.
He was a native of Ann Arbor, Mich., a chicken farmer and attended the Hilltop Bible Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dee Anne Kimbrough; one daughter, Kaitlin Anne Kimbrough of Clarksville; one son, Michael Kyle Kimbrough of Clarksville; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Lee (Coralee) Kimbrough Sr. of Clarksville; and two brothers, John Kimbrough of Clarksville and William Kimbrough of Ozark.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Allen officiating. Burial was in West Mount Zion cemetery.
Active pallbearers were John Lewis, James Stepp, Raymond Woodard, Ty Houston, Jerry Wagoner, and Greg Tumbleson.
Honorary pallbearers were Robert Wofford, Kent Cecil, Steve Willis, Larry Stroud, and Craig Hodge.
Memorials may be made to the Gideons, P. O. Box 243, Clarksville, AR 72830 or the Hilltop Bible Church, Route 3 Box 191 A, Clarksville, AR 72830.

Mrs. Faye Tedford

Mrs. Faye Tedford, 75, of Roby, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at Golden Haven Retirement Center in Roby, Texas.
A native of Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Ed and Florence Gossett Williams, widow of Troy Tedford, retired factory employee, and a Baptist.
She is survived by four sons, Phillip, James, David, and Paul, all of Coal Hill; one daughter, Wilma Lee of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters, Ruby Tschetter of Fort Smith, Josie Lowe of Coal Hill, and Jennie Short of Ozark; three brothers, Garland Williams of Ozark, Kenneth Williams of New Boston, Texas, and Pete Williams of Chouteau, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Batson Baptist Church with Rev. Garland Williams officiating.
Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Active pallbearers were Chad Tedford, Logan Tedford, Billy Don McCartney, Jerry Yarbrough, Johnny Magby and Carroll Sherrell.
Honorary pallbearers were Earl Wyers, Denver Willis, Delorn Cooper, Bentley Yates, Monroe Gober, and Tim Pledger.

Mrs. Gertie Patterson

Mrs. Gertie M. Patterson, 88, of Anderson, Ind., formerly of Clarksville, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at her home.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late John Calvin and Leona Fry Tipton, and widow of Roy Patterson.
Survivors include one daughter, Ina Faye Gibson of Worthington, Ind.; four sons, Robert Patterson of Pendleton, Ind., Donald Patterson of Anderson, Ind., Franklin D. Patterson of Chesterfield, Ind., and James E. Patterson of Clarksville; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at West Mount Zion cemetery with Rev. Sam Howell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Gorman K. Phillips

Gorman K. Phillips, 79, of Lamar died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, at his home.
He was a native of Fort Douglas, son of the late John Logan and Caroline Howard Phillips, and recipient of a 50-year award from the United States Post Office for his service as a rural mail carrier.
He is survived by one brother, Arnel Phillips of North Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Fort Douglas cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Mrs. Jewell C. Haigwood

Mrs. Jewell Cagle Haigwood, 68, of Russellville died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Legacy Lodge Nursing Home in Russellville.
She was a native of Piney, daughter of the late Clarence and Lou Breedlove Cagle, widow of George Haigwood, graduate of London High School, and attended The College of the Ozarks. She was a former resident of Clarksville, member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville and a former licensed practical nurse at Mickel Nursing Home near Clarksville.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Haigwood of Appleton; one son, George Haigwood of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Wanda Vinson of Glendora, Calif., and Betty Campbell of Pottsville; one brother, Bud Cagle of London; and two grandchildren, Michelle Hodges and Tommy Hodges, both of Diamond Bar, Calif.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Moore officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Lillard, Jerry Whorton, Ed Campbell, Eddie Vinson, Phillip Brixey, and Larry Moore.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lynn Pratt

Mrs. Lynn Pratt, 48, of Fort Smith died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999.
She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and member of Coram Deo in Grand Avenue Baptist Church, Euper Lane Volunteer of the Year, was active in Down Syndrome Support Groups and was involved in school and community activities.
Survivors include her husband, Irvin Pratt, a former resident of Johnson County; one daughter, Ashley Pratt of the home; two sons, Todd Pratt of Cedarville and Cody Pratt of the home; parents, Bobby and Doris Brown of Cedarville; one sister, Jan Molnar of Cedarville; and one brother, Dr. Mike Brown of Brookings, S. D.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Private interment will be at Roselawn cemetery at Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Mike Carroll, Randy Philpot, Bill Beall, Tony Beattie, David Dameron, and David Frye.

Marvin G. Felkins

Funeral for Marvin G. Felkins, 85, of Tulsa, Okla., was held on Saturday, Jan. 30, in Tulsa, Okla. Burial was at Floral Havens Memorial in Broken Arrow, Okla.
He was born near Clarksville, son of the late William Ernest and Laura Riddell Felkins, graduate of Clarksville High School, attended The College of the Ozarks, and had been a resident of Tulsa, Okla., since 1949. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Orville and Lee; one sister, Laurabelle Hughes; and one grandson, Alfred Abdo.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lois Lorene Smith Felkins; one son, Marvin Felkins Jr. of Independence, Kan.; one daughter, Sue Abdo of Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Ruby C. White

Mrs. Ruby Clinton White, 76, of Clarksville died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at Paris Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late George and Bessie Cheek Clinton, 1942 graduate of Clarksville High School, and a member of the Clarksville Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Omar White; one son, Larry C. Prescott of Fayetteville; and one brother, Leon Clinton of Rogers.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at the Clarksville Church of Christ with John Ballard officiating.
Burial was in Oakland cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were James Horn, Norman Sexton, Duane Steele, Jim Clark, Elvin Brown, and Flynn Kinman.
