Terrel L. Ferguson

Terrel Lee Ferguson, 56, of Fayetteville, whose wife is the former Janice Jacobs of Clarksville, died Thursday, May 12, 2005, at his home.
He was a native of Fayetteville, son of the late R. J. Ferguson, veteran of the U. S. Army, retired letter carrier for the U. S. Post Office, member of Local 1004 NALC, and a supporter and coach in Fayetteville Youth Baseball Leagues.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Libby Ferguson and Joe and Alexandria Ferguson, all of Fayetteville; one granddaughter, Julianna Ferguson; mother, Oleta Terry Ferguson of Elkins; two brothers, Allen Ferguson of Fayetteville and Randy Ferguson of Farmington; three sisters, Linda Parrish of Springdale, Brenda Phillips of Phoenix, Ariz., and Marsha Marley of Elkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 16, at Beard's Funeral Chapel of Fayetteville with Rev. Larry Mitchell and Rev. Jasper Hankins officiating.
A private burial was held in Fayetteville National cemetery.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 1068, Springdale, AR 72765 or to Holt Middle School, Principal's Discretionary Fund, 2365 N. Rupple Road, Fayetteville, AR 72704.

Willie Marie Cater

Willie Marie Cater, 86, of Clarksville died Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was a daughter of the late Gus and Fannie Murrell Houston, widow of Elmo Cater, graduate of Clarksville High School and Central Baptist College in Conway, former teacher at Stone Hill, Hartman and Coal Hill schools, member of the First United Methodist Church for 50-plus years, and formerly employed in the office of Dr. W. R. Hunt.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Edward Gaspar of St. Augustine, Fla.; one son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Jane Cater of Clarksville; three grandchildren, Jeff Cater, John Doss and Michelle Doss Asim; and three great-grandchildren, Dwight Cater, and Alexandria and Nicholas Asim.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, May 16, at the Woodland Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Wingo officiating.
Burial was in Woodland cemetery under the direction of Roller- Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were J. G. Houston, Kerry Sears, John Doss, Jeff Cater, Herman Houston, and Barney Pierson.

Charles Lee Eubanks

Charles Lee Eubanks, 81, formerly of Amarillo, Texas, died Sunday, May 22, 2005, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
A native of Clarksville, he was a son of the late Charles Newton and Ella Lingo Eubanks, attended Clarksville Schools and the University of the Ozarks, served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was assigned to Army Airways Communications Service in Hollandia, Dutch New Guinea, and a former employee of Spartan Aircraft in Tulsa, Okla.
He was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church in Amarillo, Texas, the Downtown Amarillo Lions Club, the Wichita Falls Founders Lions Club and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Eubanks; one son, Cragg Eubanks and wife, Stephanie; and grandchildren, Winn and Madeline Eubanks.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, in the chapel of Polk Street United Methodist Church in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the Downtown Amarillo Lions Club.

Gloria Jean Hausler

Gloria Jean Hausler, 63, of Clarksville died Monday, May 23, 2005, at her home.
A native of Lubbock, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Ralph and Opal Hughes Young, graduate of Lubbock (Texas) High School, widow of James Darrell Hausler, member of Lamar Baptist Church, and volunteer at the Pregnancy Help Center in Clarksville.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shari and David Simpson of Spotsylvania, Va.; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry D. and Geri Hausler of Mayflower; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nadine and Bobby Inzer of Odessa, Texas, and Kay and Mack Dyer of Lubbock, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Simpson of Bryant, Jamie Simpson of Conway, Candace Simpson of Virginia, Stephanie Brown of Bryant, and Hannah Hausler, Hunter Hausler, Holly Hausler and Harris Hausler, all of Mayflower.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 27, at Lamar Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Vire officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Vernon cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Friends may visit at her home at 342 County Road 3566.

Geneva L. Thomas

Geneva Lynn Thomas, 50, of Lamar died Monday, May 23, 2005, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Tommy Nowotny.
Survivors include her mother, Bea Nowotny of Lamar; two sisters, Karen Chenault and husband, Keith, of Jacksonville and Janice Thomas of Lamar; one brother, Bobby Thomas and wife, Lisa, of Knoxville; three nieces, Tara Thomas, Kiley Long and Shelby Chenault; six nephews, Brandon Reynolds, Justin Long, Joshua Davenport, Daniel Cartwright, Jordan Thomas and Logan Thomas; and several aunts and uncles.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at the Knoxville cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Shane Waits, Brian Waits, Jim Easom, Jerry Spencer, Jason Wadley, and Jeff Cole.

Lorn Henson

Lorn Henson, 87, of Clarksville died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, in Pasadena, Okla.
He was a member of the Clarksville Antique Tractor Club, former owner of Case and Massey Ferguson Tractor Company in Iowa, retired engineer, Methodist and native of March, Mo.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Larry C. and Penny Henson of Deer Park, Texas; one granddaughter, Amanda Sue Henson of Deer Park, Texas; and one cousin, Nancy Bottom of Cheyenne, Okla.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with burial in Oakland cemetery.

Laura McGuire

Laura McGuire, 80, of Knoxville died Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late Henry Preston and Lula Brison Farmer and was preceded in death by two daughters, Sue Young and Shirley White; one sister, Stella Harmon; and two brothers, Henry and Herbert Farmer.
Survivors include her husband, James McGuire; one daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Rusty Ralls of Clarksville; six sons and five daughters-in-law, L. J. and Dorothy McGuire of Wilson, Frank McGuire of Joiner, Ricky Don and Linda McGuire of Atlanta, Ga., Jimmy and Faye McGuire of Clarksville; Billy and Marie McGuire of Tyronza, and Kenneth and Joyce McGuire of Ozark; eight half-sisters; two half-brothers; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, at Batson cemetery with Rev. Larry Willis officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Mary E. Faught

Mary Edith Faught, 90, of Clarksville died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarksville, widow of Virgil Faught, daughter of the late Isaac Harlin and Maud Belle Heath Ford, and was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, at Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Wingo officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
