Garnett V. Waggoner

Garnett V. Waggoner, 92, of Russellville, mother of Marguerite Box of Clarksville, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at her home.

She was a native of Vinita, Okla., daughter of the late Frank and Lula Mae Cole Waggoner, widow of Carl Thomas Longbrake, member of the VFW, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Rebeccas, Baptist, and retired teacher.

She is survived by two other daughters, Lena Mae Speith of Russellville and Neala Dawn Sherrick of Lamar, Mo.; four sons, Carl Gene Longbrake of Widefield, Colo., Norman Deen Longbrake of Stockton, Mo., Larry Neal Longbrake of Jerico Springs, Mo., and Rocky Deen Wilson of Russellville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.

Pallbearers were Josh Leavell, Hiden Key, Joey Key, Rocky Wilson, Norman Deen Longbrake, and Larry Neal Longbrake.

Patricia Gonzalez

Patricia Gonzalez, 18, of Clarksville, a native of Mexico, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident on I-540 near the 28 mile marker in Crawford County.

She is survived by one son, Kaven Osvaldo Gonzalez of Clarksville; two sisters, Maria Gonzalez of Clarksville and Bertha Alicia Gonzalez of Mexico; and three brothers, Jose Guadalope Gonzalez, Teveso Jr. Gonzalez and Fidencio Gonzalez, all of Mexico.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Father William Wewers officiating. Burial will be in Salinas Victoria, N. L. Mexico.

Vinente Rivera

Vinente Rivera, 22, of Clarksville died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident on I-540 near the 28 mile marker in Crawford County.

He was a native of Rio Grande Zacatecas, Mexico.

Survivors include his mother, Elena Robles of Mexico; brothers and sisters of Mexico; and cousins of Clarksville.

The body was cremated.

Local arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Ada Alice Morgan

Ada Alice Rowbotham Morgan, 92, of Clarksville died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

She was a member of the Clarksville Church of Christ, retired employee of Johnson Regional Medical Center after 50 years of service, widow of Clyde C. Morgan, correspondent for the Herald Democrat and Johnson County Graphic for many years, and was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Carl Jennings; one grandson, Steve Edwin Jennings; six sisters, Orla Freed, Minnie Rowbotham, Eunice Ross, Ethel Breedlove, Syble Curtis, and Oda Morgan; and four brothers, Escar, Homer, Coy and Bearl Rowbotham.

She is survived by three daughters, Leona Curtis and husband, Paul, Mildred Dinsmore and husband, Robert, and Shirley Frost and husband, Bob, all of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Morgan Jennings and wife, Charla, of Hagarville, Lisa Russell and husband, Rick, of Springdale, Stephanie Brandon and husband, Michael, and Craig Frost and wife, Shelley, all of Clarksville, and Don Alan Frost and wife, Laura, of North Little Rock; 13 great-grandchildren, Nellie and Stevie Jennings of Hagarville, Christy Sparks and husband, Jason, of Lamar, Roberta Duling and husband, Doug, of Elkins, Chase Fultz of Springdale, Sydney and Reanee Hunt and Hall, Rachel, Isaac and Tyler Frost, all of Clarksville, and Zane and Kiley Frost of North Little Rock; four great-great-grandchildren, Cody and Michael Chase Sparks of Lamar and Kimberlyn Grace and Hannah Marie Duling of Elkins; two step-grandchildren, Paula Rice and Sheila Pearce; three step-great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua and Justin Brandon; and two step-great-great-grandchildren, Dylan Sparks and Eli Duling.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Clarksville Church of Christ with John Ballard and Todd Rabalais officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Airy cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Morgan Jennings, Craig Frost, Don Alan Frost, Rick Russell, Jason Sparks, and Doug Duling.

Memorials may be made to Green Valley Bible Camp, P. O. Box 65, Rogers, AR 72757.

Anna Marie Willey

Anna Marie Willey, 84, of Clarksville died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

She and her husband owned and operated Willey Construction Company in Clarksville until their retirement in 1989.

A native of Clarksville, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Martha Anna Buchanan Payne, graduate of Clarksville High School, member of the First Baptist Church in Clarksville, and was preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Ruth Keith, .

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Edward Milton Willey.

Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Oakland cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Payne and Rev. Kenneth Butler officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Clarksville First Baptist Church or the Clarksville First United Methodist Church.

David Sacrey Jr.

David L. Sacrey Jr., 75, of Knoxville, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at his home.

He was born Dec. 4, 1932, at Russellville to David Louis Sacrey Sr. and Ruby Victoria Tate Sacrey. He was inducted into the Russellville High School Hall of Fame and was a member of the 1951 graduating class. From 1953 until 1956 he was a member of the U.S. Army and then graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1959. He was the former owner of Sacrey’s Plumbing Co., a volunteer fireman for 22 years, a Scottish Rite Mason, and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Jo Ann Grimes Sacrey; and a sister, Marian Sacrey Vaughn.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia J. Sacrey; a son, David Sacrey III of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Stan Hilliard of Greenbrier; a stepson, F. A. Drew Jackson of Richmond, Texas; a stepdaughter, Catherine D’Alessandro of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren, Michael David Sacrey of Russellville, Haley, Ashley and Kristen Hilliard, all of Greenbrier, Trinity, Andrew Jordan and Trevor Dean Jackson, all of Richmond, Texas, and Catie, Samantha and Victoria D’Alessandro, all of Oklahoma City, Okla.

The family conducted a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at West Side Church of Christ with Dan Lightfoot officiating.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Sacrey home in Knoxville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Dorothy Lee Horan

Dorothy Lee Horan, 91, of Clarksville died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008.

A native of Greeley, Colo., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Edna Ellis Mackley, widow of Thomas Horan, member of Stillwell Bible Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by one brother, William Mackley; three grandchildren, Edwin Kimbrough Jr., Mark Kimbrough, and James McMurtree; one great-grandson, Steven Horan; two great-great-grandchildren, Harley Costa and Cody Adam Horan; two sons-in-law, Lee Kimbrough and Bill McMurtree; and one sister-in-law, Marie Horan.

Survivors include two daughters, Coralee Kimbrough and Joyce McMurtree, both of Clarksville; one son, Thomas Horan of New Haven, Miss.; ten grandchildren, John Kimbrough and wife, Dianne, William Kimbrough and wife, Kathy, and Patricia Stepp and husband, Phillip, all of Clarksville, Dennis McMurtree of Plano, Texas, Cindy Wright and husband, Morris, of Florida, and James Horan and wife, Rhadonna, Randall Horan, Kathy Brian and husband, Glenn, Dorothy Smith and husband, Allen Dale, and Gary Horan and wife, Tonya, all of Mississippi; 40 great-grandchildren, Johna Costa, Jadd Kimbrough, Katlin Kimbrough, Kyle Kimbrough, Mark Steven Kimbrough, Daniel Kimbrough, Nicole Lesinski, Reney Fox, Anthony Stepp, Charcina Stepp, Larry Stepp, Charlie Stepp, Patrick Horan, Tommy Horan, Kimberley Wright, Stephanie Wright, Jimmy Horan, Casey Walker, Amanda Grimes, Brandy Redmond, Randy Horan, Vicki Parker, Jamie Creel, Jonathon Bridges, Krista Horan, Samantha Hall, Kellie Welborn, Andy Saranthus, Denise Yocher, Amy McGuire, Andy Brien, Casey Barnard, Lance Little, Trent Little, Allen Smith Jr., Margo Little, Ashley Wingate, Bradley Lewis, Ashley Lewis and Ben Brien; and 38 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Stillwell Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Goodman and Rev. Steve Askins officiating.

Burial was in West Mount Zion cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were John and William Kimbrough, Dennis McMurtree, and James, Randall and Gary Horan.
