Barbara Jean Dodd

Barbara Jean Dodd, 77, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at her home.

She was a native of Los Angeles, Calif., daughter of the late Jacob Roper and Cecilia Marie Leach Chaney, widow of Elmer Edd Dodd, retired, and preceded in death by one son, Rodney Edd Dodd.

She is survived by one daughter, Lori Jean Dodd and husband, Douglas Lee Cation, of Clarksville; one son, Randy Allen Dodd of Los Angeles, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in California.

Local arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Bella V. Neves

Bella Virginia Neves, 86, of Clarksville died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Sicily, daughter of the late Manuel and Palmira Oliveira Bento, and preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Jones; one grandson, Kenny Jones; and one granddaughter, Kim Jones.

Survivors include grandchildren, Brian LaLone, Debi Rainey, Wilma Jones, Keith Jones, Joleen Schurman, Kris Jones, Steve Anderson, and Linda Yriarte; great-grandchildren, Ryan Wright, Chelsea and Tim Vaughan, Evelyn Jones, Meg Ann and Jeffrey Briant, Brittney Schurman and Russell Jones; great-great-grandchildren, Alexis Vaughan, Dixie Briant, and Joseph Pevahouse; and one son-in-law, Richard G. Jones.

Crematory arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Billy W. Robinson

Billy Wayne Robinson, 70, of Coal Hill died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at Veterans Hospital in Little Rock.

A native of Limestone, he was a son of the late George and Lola Jewell Robinson, Army veteran, member of Belle Grove Masonic Lodge No. 410, attended Hartman Baptist Church, former employee of Ceco Steel, and preceded in death by one son, Allen Robinson.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Robinson; four sons, Mike Robinson and wife, Shelley, Lewis Robinson and wife, Tina, and Bryan Robinson, all of Coal Hill, and Greg Robinson and wife, Tracy, of Hartman; two sisters, Esther Collette and husband, William, and Dorothy Savage, all of Dover; one brother, Vernon Robinson and wife, Virginia, of Missouri; one stepbrother, Carl Pritchett and wife, Donna, of Oklahoma; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Mack Smith officiating. Burial was in Holman cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Chris Case, Gary Ragsdale, Larry Marvel, Lloyd Hill, Craig Harderson, and Dennis Stepp.

Honorary pallbearers were members of Belle Grove Masonic Lodge No. 410.

Delana G. Berry

Funeral for Delana G. Berry, 59, of Mountainburg, who died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at Peachtree Hospice in Fort Smith, was at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Oark cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Glenn Diddo Stepp Jr., Jason Stepp, Jeff Stepp, Jeremy Stepp, Nathan Stepp, and Weston Stepp.

Honorary pallbearers were Mike Stepp and Alan Stepp.

She was a daughter of the late Efton and Opal Arbaugh Stepp and former employee of the Singer Company and Sara Lee Company.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Berry; three daughters, Stacy E. Magby of Clarksville, Gretchen Jones of Wesley, and Dondru Berry of Mountainburg; five brothers, Glenn Diddo Stepp Sr., James Deloren Stepp, Delbert Keith Stepp, Dolen Suel Stepp, and Ronnie Dale Stepp, all of Oark; and two grandchildren.

Dorine Carol Cole

Dorine Carol Cole, 78, of Lamar died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Cole; two sons, Mark Roberts of Knoxville and David Roberts of San Jose, Calif.; parents, Fred and Pezely Jewell; two sisters, Margaret Henry of Van Buren and Jayce Cortez of Victorville, Calif.; one brother, Lee Jewell of Spokane, Wash.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Crematory arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Jack Edward Voeller

Jack Edward Voeller, 72, of Holts Summit, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at his home.

He was an administrator for the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Army veteran, former resident of Mountainburg, Presbyterian, native of Kansas City, Mo., son of the late Rochus Jacob and Sarah Catherine Holland Voeller, and was preceded in death by two daughters, Judy Mae and June Kay Voeller.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Voeller; six sons, Mark Dewayne Voeller of Chester, Keith Alan Voeller of Alma, Brian David Voeller of Fort Smith, David Franklin Dutton of Dardanelle, Eugene William Dutton of Hartman, and Charles Henry Dutton of Clarksville; one sister, Catherine Patricia Laster of Grapevine, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at the U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

The sons served as pallbearers.

Jack M. Cline Jr.

Jack McNary Cline Jr., 63, of Clarksville died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, after a long illness.

Jackie, as he was known by friends and family, was born on Aug. 23, 1947. A graduate of Clarksville High School and The University of the Ozarks, Jackie was a member of Clarksville First United Methodist Church. He served in the Air National Guard, was a former employee of Clarksville Machine Works, and retired from the Arkansas Forestry Commission.

A nature lover at heart, Jackie was an avid fisherman and hunter, who had a keen understanding of game and wildlife in the Ozarks. He was a sports enthusiast and an excellent golfer. During his last active days of life, Jackie could be found watching his golf buddies as they finished up their rounds for the day.

Jackie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harve J. (Mattie) Taylor of Ludwig; paternal grandparents, Grace S. Cline and John J. Cline, both of Clarksville; and father-in-law, Loy Park of Clarksville.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sandra Park Cline of Clarksville; two sons, John Jason Cline (Jennifer) of Rogers and Scott William Cline of Conway; his mother, Anna Jane Cline Warren (John) of Clarksville; his father, Jack M. Cline Sr. (Rita) of Knoxville; sister, Mitzi Carol Cline Link (Max) of Birmingham, Ala.; mother-in-law, Verladean Park of Clarksville; sister-in-law, Lisa Park Martin (J.D.) of Clarksville; and brother-in-law, Barry Park (Debbie) of Clarksville.

Additional survivors include nephews, Taylor Cline Prewett of San Diego, Calif., and Brian Park of Heber Springs; niece, Misty Park Kyles (Josh) of Bentonville; great-nieces, Hailey Elizabeth Park of Clarksville and Uma Elizabeth Kyles of Bentonville; and great-nephew, Parker Andrew Kyles of Bentonville.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at the First United Methodist Church in Clarksville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1835, Clarksville, AR 72830 or the First United Methodist Church FLB, P. O. Box 535, Clarksville, AR 72830,

The family would like to thank the many friends and loved ones in the community for the outpouring of love and support.

Jeanie Moessinger

Jeanie Moessinger, 70, of Lamar died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Wichita, Kan., daughter of the late Orville Lawrence and Lois Chisham Miller, member of East Mount Zion Trinity Baptist Church, receptionist and bookkeeper, and member of Johnson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and Disabled Veterans Association.

Survivors include one daughter, Terrie Melson and husband, James, of Lamar; three sons, Tracy Kite of New Mexico, Kenny Kite and wife, Rachel, and Kelly Kite and wife, Lynn, all of Arizona; three sisters, Lynnell Howard of Clarksville, Lee Ann Longbotham of New Mexico, and RoseMary Fisher of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and friend, Billie Hill of Clarksville.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at East Mount Zion Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Jackson officiating.

Crematory arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1835, Clarksville, AR 72830.
