PRINCE, Gerrie M., 60, passed away July 1, 2000 at her home in Alhambra, CA. Long time resident of Tucson. preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survived by husband, Bob N. Prince, daughters, Tricia Calta, Sharon DeLaughter, Mary Volkmer; sons-in-law and six grandchildren. RUBBO, Catherine B. 'Kay' passed away on Sunday July 9th, 2000 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 77.
Kay was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on March 23rd, 1923 to Charles and Margaret Baxter. She grew up with her family in Loretto and Houghton, MI as one of seven children. Kay was a teacher at the Iron Mountain High School and at the Dickinson Area Catholic School. She married Kenneth F. Rubbo and enjoyed 24 years of marriage until his death in 1970. Kay spent most of her retirement years in Tucson, AZ.
As well as her loving husband, Kay is predeceased by her brothers, William and Charles Baxter; and sister, Alice Gribble. She is survived by brother Robert (Irene) Baxter, Hoyt Lakes, MN; and sisters, Betty Monroe, Petosky, MI and Sr. Marguerite Baxter, Duluth, MN; sons, Tom (Laura) Rubbo, Tucson, AZ, Bill (Ann) Rubbo, Macon, GA, and Dick (Jean) Rubbo, The Woodlands, TX; daughters, Peg Rubbo, Phoenix, AZ and Cathy (Larry) Johns, Iron Mt., MI; grandchildren, Michael Rubbo, Milwaukee, WI, David Rubbo, Macon, GA, Maureen and Tom Johns, Iron Mt., MI, John (Jeanne) Rubbo, St. Paul, MN, Sarah Rubbo, Tucson, AZ, Jacob, Jaclyn, and Annelise Rubbo, The Woodlands, TX.
We know that Kay is relieved to once again be in the arms of Kenny. During her life Kay always gave support and comfort to family and friends and as a life long teacher, provided the lessons of unconditional love and faith in God. May the Lord bless you Mom, and may you truly be at peace.
A celebration of Kay's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd., Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers Kay asked that memorial contributions be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.

MARIA 'TERRY' SANCHEZ - passed away July 08, 2000 to eternal Life with the Lord Jesus Christ. Survived by her husband, Tony; sons, Roy (Christina) and Marco; daughter, Sonia; grandchildren, Roy Jr., and Angel; mother, Maria Richmond; brothers, Rene (Mary), Lionel (Rosa), Jimmy (Elia) and Ruben (Lupita). Family, friends and fellow employees of Lynn Urquides School will sorely miss the joy and compassion for others she exhibited throughout her life. SCHMIDT, Albert R., born in LaRue, Ohio 1920 passed away July 5, 2000. Served his country during WWII in the Eighth Army Air Corp. Made Master Sargeant, was a Line Chief in charge of 90 men. He met and married Vera in England 1944. He saw service in France and Germany. Moved to Tucson in 1962. Worked at 'The Barn Furniture' over 20 years. He was a loving husband and loving father to his daughters, Lorian (Jeff), Lorraine (John); also his grandchildren, Ryan, John and Jamie Lyndah. We miss him so much. We loved him so much. Cremation was private. HEATHER MORTUARY.

ARAGON, Erlinda C. entered to rest on June 24, 2000. Born August, 1920 in Tucson, AZ. Moved to San Jose, CA, 1956. Survived by two children and three grandchildren. Visitation will be held at ARIZONA MORTUARY UNIVERSITY CHAPEL, Thursday, July 13th, between 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass service will be at St. Margaret's Church on Friday, July 14th, at 10:00 a.m. Private burial to follow.

ANNETTE COCKLIN-BURBECK, 65, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2000. She is preceded in death by her first husband, David Cocklin; and son, Terry Cocklin. She is survived by her husband, Paul A. Burbeck; daughter, Pamela (Martin) Hansen; grandchildren, Hunter and Cody Hansen, Jessie Sampson and Aaron Porath, Becky Campbell; step-children, Ronda Sampson, Mike and Eddie Burbeck.
Annette was an active member of the Elks Club and owned her own business, Cocklin and Gentry Tax Service, for many years. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. Her hobbies included reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and making others feel loved and appreciated. Her smile and laugh will forever be imprinted on the hearts of those she loved and touched.
The memorial service will be at Annette's home church Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 8845 N. Silverbell Road on Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church Building Fund.

CULPEPPER, Claude A., (Col. USAF Ret.), 86, died July 10, 2000. Survived by wife, Sylvia; children, Robert, Mary and John; five grandchildren. Col. Culpepper had a distinguished military career. Memorial service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2000 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to TMC Hospice.

DAVIS, Dorothy R., born July 8, 1912 in Wapakoneta, Ohio passed away in Tucson, AZ on July 5, 2000. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Ivan Davis. She is survived by son, Douglas Davis and daughter, Rose Mayer; and three grandchildren. Interment Holy Hope cemetery. Mass intentions to be held in Tucson and Wapakoneta. Special thanks to Park Villa Nursing Home.

HAUCK, Dorothy Mary Isett Lahart, passed away on June 28, 2000. Dorothy was a warm and wonderful, endlessly active spirit, who will be missed by friends and family. Born in Chicago, IL on April 23, 1912, she was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Isett. She spent her youth and young adulthood in Minneapolis, where she married Martin Lahart, one of the Untouchables, who preceded her in death in 1975. Dorothy and her family spent many happy years in Honolulu, where she worked for U.S Customs, before moving to the Tucson area in 1970. Dorothy leaves behind her beloved husband of 20 years, Edwin J. Hauck. She also leaves behind a son, Martin Lahart of Alexandria, VA; a daughter, Nancy Deschamps of Tucson; granddaughters, Wendi Lahart of Portland, OR, Heidi Lahart of Seattle, WA, Renee Deschamps of New York; nephew, Charles Nygaard and his family, wife Kathleen, their children, Vanessa, Sarah and Alexander, and Julie Hauck, her husband Ed's granddaughter. A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 13, EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Afterwards there will be a time for friends to call on the family in the Sitting Room at The Forum, 2500 N. Rosemont at 10:30 a.m.

HENDERSON, Ellen, 52, of Tucson. Ellen was born July 11, 1947 in Peoria, IL and has lived in Tucson the past ten years. She was a registered nurse working with the elderly. She is survived by her son, Stephen (Hollie) Henderson; and daughter, Laura (Dean) Vomacka; her mother; three sisters; and four grandchildren. Ellen touched many people in her life with her kindness, generosity and humor. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. We love you, your family. Private services will be held by her family.

LASH, Laura Belle, 82, born April 14, 1908 in Madison, Sewickley Township, PA to William F. and Loma Katherine Leasure, passed away July 10, 2000 in Tucson. preceded in death by husband, Daniel Ralph Lash; and grandson, Daniel Paul Lash. Survived by children, Arval L. (Marilynn) Lash, Loma Sue (John) Journey, Mrs. Jay (Barbara Ann) Lunsford; grandchildren, Linda Leigh McMullen, Allan Brent and William Raymond Journey, Tina Dawn Klingenberg, Brian Curt Lunsford; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Zelma Palmer. Mrs. Lash taught school in Sewickley Township. She retired from TUSD where she was employed as an educational administrative assistant for over twenty years. She was a past member of First Baptist Church of Tucson and a current member of El Camino Baptist Church here she served in many leadership roles. Memorial service 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2000 at Camino Baptist Church, 7777 E. Speedway. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Private interment South Lawn cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the WMF Missions Program, in care of El Camino Baptist Church, 7777 E. Speedway, Tucson, 85710.

MAHER, Nellie, 93, of Tucson, AZ, died July 11, 2000. Nellie was born June 23, 1907 in Rahway, NJ and moved to Tucson in 1959. She was a longtime resident of Highlands Mobile Home Park, and was one of the original members of St. Odilia Catholic Church. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick, Sr; and her son, Patrick, Jr. She is survived by her adopted family, Jack and Dee Lytle; their children, Jodi (Steve) Karlan, Barb (Doug) Fallwell, both of Tucson, David Lytle of Denver, Susan Conderino of Baltimore; adopted great-grandchildren, Rachel, Seth, Christopher, Rebekah and Katie Karlan and Matthew and Kayla Fallwell. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. (@ Magee) Wednesday, July 12, 2000 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 7570 N. ALINE C. MASSEY, 72, beloved mother, passed away July 11, 2000 after a long illness. She was a professional woman, loving mother and wife. She is survived by daughter, Diane Boomershine (Thomas) of Tucson; sisters, Irene Martin (Gene) of Portales, NM, Leona Norris of Dunn, NC, Pauline Sessoms (Leroy) of Erwin, NC; sister-in-law Anne of Erwin, NC; brother, Earl Cox (Helen) of Erwin, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. preceded in death by husband, William Massey of Tucson; and brothers, James, Arthur and Charles of Erwin, NC.

JOSEPHINE H. MUNIZ, 71, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away July 10, 2000. preceded in death by brothers, Alberto, Alfredo and Manuel Contreras. Survived by daughters, Cecilia (Don) Muniz-Willhelm and Carol (James) Navarrette; sons, Alex (Irene), David (Marcia) Albert (Cheri), Cruz Daniel (Arlene) and Joseph (Monica) Muniz; sisters, Celia Contreras, Amalia (Frank) Valdez and Emily (Richard) Johnson; brothers, Carlos, Enrique (Delia), Ernesto (Norma) and Gustavo (Cecilia) Contreras. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2000 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, North Chapel, 240 S. Stone Ave., with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Friday, July 14, 2000, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope cemetery. Josephine was a loving Mother and Grandmother, raising her seven children and three of her Granddaughters, Evelyn Quijada, Gina and Stephanie Muniz. JOSEPH VINCENT PARENTE, 44, died July 10, 2000. Husband of Anna Parente; father of Matthew, Daniel, Joseph and Jacob Parente; son of Joe Parente; brother of Michael (Lynn) Parente and Rebecca (Rick) Bessett; son-in-law of Rosy and Robert Brooks; nephew of Mary Spencer; brother-in-law of Bryan Brooks; uncle of Derek, Brian, and Jillian; grandson of Theresa Rogers. Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL. Mass will be offered 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2000 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo. Burial will follow at East Lawn cemetery. Grant Rd., T/A 85712. Joe was a lover of life. He adored his wife and family was a priority in his life. He brightened our world and his smile lit up every room he entered. REBECCA A. POLINSKI, 35, of Tucson, was tragically taken from us on July 8, 2000. Survivors include her loving husband, Ken; children, Tanya and Tyler; parents, Narciso and Florita Anover of the Philippines; father and mother-in-law, LeRoy and Carol Polinski, of Rhinelander, WI; sister, Adora Ortega; brothers, Ceasar, Narciso Jr., Salvador, Romeo, and Noel Anover all of the Philippines; brother-in-law, Dennis of West Bend, WI; and sister-in-law, Beth of Rhinelander, WI. Dodge Blvd., at Speedway, Thursday, July 13, 2000 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, on Friday, July 14 at 3:00 p.m. Rebecca will return to the Philippines for her burial.

RASOR, Anita V., went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 10, 2000. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, O.W. 'Chub' Rasor. She is survived by nieces, Natalie Miller Orozco and Desmond Miller Orozco; brothers-in-law, Cecil (Wanda) Rasor of Tulsa, OK and Larry (Edwina) Miller of Tucson.
Anita was born February 27, 1916 in Tucson, graduated from Tucson High School and worked along side her husband in the business, Miller-Rasor Radio. She was a member since age four of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway) with Rev. Mark Hallemeyer officiating. Interment will follow at South Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to service time. Contributions in Anita's memory may be made to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 830 N. 1st Ave, 85719.

RAUSCHER, Albert G., 72, of Tucson, Arizona passed away July 09, 2000. He was born June 16, 1928 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Rauscher. He is survived by his two sons, Joseph and Albert G. Jr. Rauscher; two sisters, Gloria Gerk and Lillian Roe; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He will be greatly missed by all who love him. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 13, 2000 at 9:30 a.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Entombment services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at South Lawn cemetery. Services entrusted to SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY.
