Imogene Colquitt (Gene) Frazer, died January 15, 1998. She was born in Bonham, TX to Annie Lee and Eugene Colquitt on September 5, 1913. Predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Jim W. Frazer; and daughter, Mary Ann Abosketes. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Genematas (George) and Patricia Burroughs (Robert); six grand children, Nicholas G. (Cynthia), Gene Marie, James, Robert G. (Theresa) Genematas; Robert C. and Christopher Burroughs; five great-grand children, Melissa, Elizabeth, Jamie, and Gene Genematas and Danielle Burroughs; and her brother-in-law, J.V. Frazer of El Paso, TX; and nephews, J.V. Frazer Jr. of NM, and Guy (Peggy) Frazer of El Paso. Having made her home at the Life Care Center for almost four years, she received magnificent care and love from the Esperanza staff. Her family is so grateful to them. Ever devoted to her family and friends, she still found time to be of service to her community through the donation of thousands of hours of volunteer work at St. Joseph and UMC Hospitals. Memorial Service will be held at Chapel Christ the King, Wednesday, 11:30 a.m., January 21, 1998. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ``Those Who Care", 3200 N. Los Altos, Tucson, AZ 85705. ``Nana'' leaves behind her wealth of beautiful memories, a lot of laughter, and a lot of love. She was and is "Our Darling." GILMAN, Gloria B., 63, of Tucson passed away January 16, 1998. She is survived by her husband, Gus Gillman Sr. of 46 years; and four sons, Gus Jr., Scott of Ohio, Ron and Steve. Services pending. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY, 1040 N. Columbus Blvd.

SALAZAR, Dorothy "Granny Dot", 90, of Willcox, AZ, died January 16, 1998. She was born May 22, 1907 in Rochford, South Dakota, to Richard Moore Waugh and Sarah Evelyn Lints. She marriage Bill Salazar October 10, 1958 in Lordsburg, ND. She lived in Klondyke, AZ, from 1958 until 1987 and then moved to Willcox, AZ in 1987, where she lived to the present. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Bill Salazar of Willcox, AZ; daughters, Nina Lyerly McCarville of Tucson, AZ, Zola (Larry) Lyerly Powers of Tucson, AZ, and Sara Lyerly Humphrys of Willcox, AZ; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held atWESTLAWN CHAPEL, on Wednesday, January 21, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Northern Cochise Community Hospital, 901 W. Rex Allen Dr., Willcox, AZ 85643. Arrangements by WESTLAWN CHAPEL & MORTUARY, in Willcox, AZ.

HAN, Rebecca C.L., teacher and scholar, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 18, 1998. She is survived by her son, Samuel Wong; daughter-in-law, Patricia; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Daniel and Matthew. In our hearts she will always be with us. Arrangements byWOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway (881-0338).

HUMBLES, Lillian B., age 85, of Tucson, passed away January 18, 1998. Survived by daughters, Ruth (Wilbur) Mc Kesson of Tucson, and Edna M. Muse of CA; and sister, Edwina Collins of LA. Friends may call at ARIZONA MORTUARY, 7 E. University Blvd., Wednesday, January 21, 1998 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will conclude in New Orleans, LA.

KEISEN, Ruth Kelly, died January 14, 1998. Mrs. Keisen was born January 27, 1909 in Murphysboro, ILL to George and Eliza Smith. She shared the date of her birth with a sister, Ruby Hotz of Tucson who survives her. One of nine children born to George and Eliza, she was raised on the family farm, later graduating from Southern Illinois Normal University and earning a certificate enabling her to teach in the primary and grammar grades in the Indiana school system. She marriage Norman Keisen in 1934 and they shared their life together until he died suddenly in 1952 in Phoenix, AZ. Mrs. Keisen moved to Tucson in 1955 and worked as a staff client coordinator at the Homemakers of Tucson for several years. Earning a ``Seal Peterson Star of the Day Award'' for her service there. Mrs. Keisen though having no children of her own, always showed great loving and caring for her many nieces and nephews and their families. Some of those include, Mrs. Bertha Tuinstra (Chuck) and Mr. Jim Bauersachs (Lynda) of Tucson, Mr. Bob Bauersachs (Janet) of Auburndale, FL, Mr. Bruce Hotz (Donna) of Modesto, CA, Mrs. Jeanie Hudson of Three Rivers, MI and Mrs. Midge (Bob) Graeff of Murphysboro, IL. Several others with whom she maintained contact and affection reside in the midwest. Mrs. Keisen was also preceded in death by her parents, George and Eliza Smith and her brother, Clough Smith and Charles Smith, George Smith, Henry Smith, and sisters, Hester Smith, Edna Richardson, Frieda Heape all residents of the midwest and Helen Bauersachs of Tucson. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 1998 at Casa Adobes Baptist Church. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Casa Adobes Building Fund.

TAYLOR, Karla, 21, of Tucson, passed away January 16, 1998. Survived by husband, Arturo Grijalva; parents, Carlos and Carmen Taylor; daughter, Hazel Grijalva; sister, Crystal Taylor; brothers, Ali and Edgar Taylor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 1998 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Thursday, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.

MORFORD, Glenn Devere, 84, died on January 17, 1998 in Tucson. He was born in Soldier, KS, June 5, 1913. He is survived by his loving current wife, Ruby; and his children, Carol Exline of Salina, KS, Danny Morford of Leavenworth, KS and Cheryl Musick of Overland Park, KS; step-children, Elton Kilfoyl of CA and Randi VenHuizen of CA. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Jim Kilfoyl. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. His wife of 46 years, Margaret, preceded him in death in 1982 and also his sister, Helen Chrisman. Glenn worked for Jordan's Bakery in Topeka, KS for many years before going to work for American Machine and Foundry Co. as a bakery service engineer. He retired from AMF in 1975 and then started his own bakery consulting business. His hard work and dedication to the job at hand, made his reputation outstanding in the business. He will be missed by his family as well as many business friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W. Roller Coaster Rd., Tucson, AZ 85704 or to your favorite charity. Services will be held in Tucson, Wednesday, January 21, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Pastor Daniel V. Valasakos of Dove of Peace Lutheran Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Services will also be held at a later date in Holton, KS at Mercer Funeral Home with burial in Soldier Cemetery, Soldier, KS.

NARDI, Joseph S., 76, died January 18, 1998. Husband of Marie Nardi of Tucson. Father of Kenneth Nardi of Rolling Hills Estates, CA, Joseph J. Nardi of Tucson. Grandfather of Stephanie A. Nardi. Brother of Vito Nardi of Norwood, IL, Yolanda Scannicchio of Westchester, IL, Rose Talano of Glenn Ellyn, IL. Numerous friends also survive. Memorial Mass, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 1998, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7651 E. Pima. Vigil Service 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL. Mr. Nardi was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army and a member of VFW. Arrangements by BRINGS'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

NEWMAN, Ernest M., Born July 7, 1926 in Providence, RI, died peacefully January 16, 1998 in Tucson, AZ, at TMC Hospice after a 3-month battle with Cancer. His wife, Helen Epstein Newman, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughters, Robin (Doreen Dobzewitz) Nozick of Tucson, Eileen (Harold) Rose of North Attleboro, MA, and Betsy (Tom) DelSanto of West Warwick, RI and six grandchildren, Brian and Jay Metzger, Gregory and Mitchell Rose, and Kimberly and Matthew DelSanto. His sister Barbara (Leon) Sloane and her children Richard Sloane and Susan Sugerman and their children also survive Mr. Newman.
A resident for most of his life in Rhode Island, he has resided in Tucson, since his retirement as a Certified Public Accountant in 1992. He was a faithful and loyal friend of Bill W's, having helped countless newcomers at the Northwest Alano Club, where he worked until he became too ill. He will leave a tremendous void at ``The Club'' and in his family land friend's hearts and lives.
Mr. Newman was buried in a family plot in Rhode Island on Monday, January 19, 1998. Visiting hours will be at 2450 West Placita Iglesia Thursday, January 22nd and Friday, January 23rd from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the TMC Hospice, 5301 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712 or The Northwest Alano Club, 4432 N. Romero Rd. 85705.
A Memorial Service will take place at The Northwest Alano Club, Saturday, January 24, 1998 at 2:00 p.m.
"Dad, I am so proud of YOU! I admire your devotion to living the program."

NOLAN, Norma "Kit", 60 years old, died peacefully on Monday, January 19, 1998 in Tucson. Survived by her husband, William of Tucson; four daughters, Patty Nolan Goldsmith of Tucson, Kathy Pozda of Springfield, VA, Maribeth Natchez of Clark, NJ, Carri Nolan Chomiak of Morristown, NJ; eight wonderful grandchildren. "Nana" leaves behind her wealth of beautiful memories and a lot of love. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Carondelet Hospice, P.O. Box 13170, Tucson, AZ 85732. Burial and Funeral Mass will be in New Jersey. Arrangements by WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 881-0338.

PHILLIPS, Dora K., Dora Korenbaum Phillips, of Tucson, died January 14, 1998 at 9:00 a.m. She was joined in death by her beloved sister, Lillian Spitz of Phoenix, who died at 9:00 p.m. the same day. Dora was born in 1909 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and spent much of her life there. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Korenbaum and her husband, Edward Phillips. She is survived by her devoted sister, Eva Cossock of Tucson and sister Myrtle Korenbaum of San Diego. She is also survived by nieces, Leah Loveday of Tucson, Margie Spitz and Barbara Bassett of Martha's Vineyard; nephew David Cossock of Berkeley as well as great-nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly. Also life long friends the Linn family. She was a beacon of love for us all and miss her sorely. We'll always remember her kindness, generosity, and unfailing love. A Memorial Service will be conducted by Rabbi Thomas Louchheim at Broadway Proper 400 S. Broadway Place on February 6, 1998 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please give to your favorite charity.
