TRIANO, Gary Lee, 52, of Tucson, died Friday, November 1, 1996. He is survived by his children, Heather, Brian, Trevor, Lois and Elliot. He is also survived by his mother, Toni Schultz; brother, Dennis; and sister, Toni. He was born in Sacramento, CA on November 6, 1943. He graduated from Rincon High School in Tucson, served in the U.S. Air Force and graduated from the University of Arizona in 1968, where he then attended law school. Gary was involved in and contributed to the community both politically and charitably. He was the precinct captain of the Republican Party, vice-president of the Boy Scouts of America, YMCA board member, member of the Executive Committee of the Republican Party, U.S. Senate Inner Circle member, member of the Community Center Commission, member of the Presidents and Wildcat Clubs of the University of Arizona, and member of St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. Gary received numerous awards including Couple of the Year from the City of Hope, Patron of Youth from the YMCA, Medal of Merit from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Task Force and the Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America. Gary contributed to the Special Olympics, the American Heart Association, Arizona Wildlife Federation, Tucson Boys Chorus and Boys Club of Tucson. Gary was a loving, devoted father and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Donations may be made in Gary’s memory to your favorite charity. A Memorial Mass will be held November 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5150 N. Valley View Drive, Tucson.

TRIPP, Bessie Mae, 91, of Tucson, died Sunday, November 3, 1996. She was born March 9, 1905 in Corbin, Kentucky. She had been a resident of Flower Square Health Care Center since September 1979. She was an active member of the Southside Church of Christ Congregation prior to her entering Flower Square. Bessie and her husband, Oliver Tripp, who had been married for 41 years, came to Tucson from Michigan in 1955. Oliver Tripp deceased in 1965. She is survived by her goddaughter, Sandra J.Waldon and family, all of Tucson. Also preceding in death were her parents, three sisters, and two brothers. Services Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., EVERGREEN MORTUARY, with Brother Dewayne Ester of Southside Church of Christ officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.

WYMER, Marion, 92, went to be with the Lord November 3, 1996. She is survived by her son, Donald (Resauda) Wymer of Tucson; and daughter, Diana Wymer of Albuquerque, New Mexico; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Jack Wymer and Audrey Merian. She was a member of the Tucson Baptist Temple prior to entering Devon Gables Nursing Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hudgel’s SWAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Services will be at Tucson Baptist Temple, Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, North Oracle.

BERG, Minnie B., age 88, passed away Saturday, November 2, 1996. She is survived by daughter, Jean (Dwane) Osterloh-Fickle of Tucson; granddaughter, Traci Wessel of Tucson; grandson, Kevin (Joni) Osterloh of San Mateo, CA; 4 great-grandchildren, Neva, Brittany, Kelsey, and Ashland; and nephew, Robert (LuAnn) Albertsen of Phoenix. She was born to Eugene A. and Martha E. Horst on March 3, 1908, in Muscatine, Iowa. Mrs. Berg moved to Tucson in 1968 and was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church and various senior citizen organizations for many years. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee, Tuesday, November 5, 1996 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service conducted by Rev. Eric Northard beginning at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Orange, CA.

DURNIL, Kitty 'Alma' Lillian Boone, 71, died October 30, 1996. Survived by three sons, Ronald L. Boone of Tucson, David Boone of Tucson, Mike Boone of Tucson; and one daughter, Terest L. (Boone) Morton of Texas; one granddaughter, Jennifer (Morton) Lofton; one grandson, Jeff Morton of Texas; and one great-granddaughter, Debra Marie Lofton of Texas. Visitation will be held at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tuesday, November 5 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

FELKER, Dylan Lex, age two weeks, died November 1, 1996. Survived by parents, Ryan and Jill (Rossi) Felker; sister, Haley; grandparents, Sidney and Dianne Felker; Dean Rossi and Carmen Hayes; great-grandparents, Willis and Virginia Snyder, all of Tucson, and Leora Rossi Kasson, MN.Private Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. KALER, Ruth Evelyn, 84, resident of Tucson for 65 years, passed away at Hospice Care, November 1, 1996. Surviving is a son, Don (Donna) Kaler of Pinetop, AZ; a daughter, Marjorie (Elton) Endebrock of Los Alamos, NM; her grandchildren, Cheryl Kaler of Sunnyvale, CA; Steve (Kerry) Kaler of Chandler, AZ; Ellen Endebrock of Newhall, CA; Eric (Cathy) Endebrock of Melbourne, Australia; two great-granddaughters, Kasey and Kenzey Kaler of Chandler, AZ. Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 5 at the Broadway Christian Church, 4741 E. Broadway, Tucson, AZ 85711, with Dr. George L. Tolman officiating. McCANN, Penny Anne, 48, of Tucson, died Thursday, October 31, 1996. Survived by her daughters, Jennifer Medoff and Stephanie Medoff, both of Tucson; her sister, Kathleen Cianciulli (Francis Cianciulli, M. D.) of PA; two nieces, Lisa Borowski of PA; Lori Cianciulli of Washington; one nephew, Francis Cianciulli, Jr. of PA. Private Services have been held. McGUIGAN, Helen, wife of the late attorney, George McGuigan, died October 31, 1996 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson. Born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, Mrs. McGuigan attended the University of Arizona and had resided in Tucson for the past 38 years. She is survived by a son, Brian; and two grandchildren, Eve and Michael, both of Tucson. She is in our hearts forever. Interment private. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.

COVIC, Karen Sue (Conley), 48, of Tucson, Arizona, died Thursday, October 31, 1996. Survivors include: husband, CM Sgt. Robin R. Covic, stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, AZ; son, Sgt. Clinton V. Covic stationed with the Army in Japan; parents, Vernon and Gay Conley of Willowick. Born April, 3, 1948 in Painesville, Ohio. Graduated from North Hugh School in Eastlake, OH. Mrs. Covic died at her residence. Friends may call one hour before services on Monday at Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home, 4154 Clark St., Willoughby, Ohio.Funeral will be at Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home, Monday, 11:30 a.m., with Rev. DANIELS, Ray, died October 27, 1996, at age 83. Survived by his son, Dwight E.Daniels of North Carolina. Memorial Service to be conducted November 2, at 2:30 p.m. United Church of God, 450 N. Pantano, by Steve Buchanan, Minister.

FISKE, Harold J., 78, of Tucson, died Tuesday, October 29, 1996. He is survived by wife, Dorothy; son, Robert; daughter, Cathleen (Rob) Cunis; step-sons, Jim (Carol) and Joe (Janet) Burns; brother, Russ; and five grandchildren. He was a retired C.P.D. and an avid golfer. At his request no services were held. Donations may be made in his name to American Cancer Society, 1636 N. Swan Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712. MORGAN, Elane Daniels, 76, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 1996. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Richard H. Morgan of Tucson. Born in Tucson September 12, 1920. Elane was a graduate of Nogales High School and the University of Arizona. For many years she was an Advisor to the Chi Omega Sorority. married in Nogales in 1943, Richard and Elane lived in Chicago, Illinois until 1950. Upon returning to Tucson, Dr. Morgan set up a practice as an Optometrist and a home for their three children. Preceded in death by her mother, Clotilda Carey.Survived by her husband, Richard Morgan; her daughter, Barbara Martino of Mission Viejo, California; her sons, Kent Morgan of Tucson and Richard Morgan of Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren, Tom Martino, Shawnna Martino Rogalla, Brice Morgan, Tanner Morgan, Barbara Morgan and Tyler Morgan; three great-grandchildren, Nicolas Martino and Travis Rogalla and one on the way; brother, Jack Daniels of Santa Barbara; niece, Sharon Holzer; and nephew, John Daniels of California. Also survived by numerous other members of the De La Ossa family. We will always remember her kindness, warmth, sense of humor and English grammar lessons. We love you Mom. Russell of Maryland; sister of Jacqueline Ragan of Tucson, Bess Morrison of Queen Valley, Ina Lee Jones of Benson and Laura Ann Keith of Benson; five grandchildren also survive. She was a member of the Eastern Star and A.B.W.A. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 1996 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL with Pastor John Aker officiating. ARMSTEAD, William Francis, 54, died October 27, 1996 in Tucson, AZ. Survived by his daughters, Monique Armstead of Santa Rosa, CA; brother, Ernest J. Armstead Jr. of San Bernadino, CA; sisters, Lucretia Faulk of New Haven, CT and Catherine Armstead of Redding, PA. BEUCKMAN, Adrian Peter, 81, greeted everyone with a firm handshake and great sense of humor, met with God on October 30, 1996. Adrian was born in East St. Louis, IL and raised his family in Jefferson City, MO with his wife Amanda Josephine. He worked for Missouri Power and Light, when in 1957 he moved his family to Tucson. He worked for Tucson Gas and Electric and retired from Southwest Gas in 1983. Husband of Amanda Beuckman of Tucson; father of Tom (Barbara) of Tucson, Chris (Kim) Beuckman of Tucson and Walter (Kimberlie) Beuckman of San Diego, CA; brother of Florian (Myrtle) Beuckman of O’Fallon, IL, Rosemary Hugo of Carlsbad, NM, Pauline Kirshbaum of Oakland, CA, Dorothy (John) Gillespie of Rio Rancho, NM and Ernestine Beuckman of St. Louis, MO; grandfather of Noel, Brett, Michael, Preston Adrian, Crystal, Lacey and Brittnee; great-grandfather of Douglas and Amanda.Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 1996 at TMP, East Lawn with Chaplain Mark S. FINNE, David D., Jr., Maj. U.S.M.C. Ret., 68, of Tucson, AZ, died Sunday, October 27, 1996 at home after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Finne of Tucson; former wife, Wanda Finne of Las Vegas, Nevada; one son, David D. Finne III; daughter, Colleen Finne; one granddaughter, Shoshana; two great-grandsons, Jimmy and Tony, all of Las Vegas; and daughter Eileen Finne of Mountain View, CA. A private Memorial Service will be held by family.

GANNAN, Henry Roscoe, 'Hank', Maj., USMC, Ret., 63, of Tucson, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 27, 1996.Beloved husband of Jackie; loving father of Matthew Scott Gannan, Kevin Wade Gannan, and Laura Lynn Ann Gannan. In 1954, Mr. Gannan graduated from Austin Peay University in Clarksville, TN, and was commissioned in the USMC. He retired from the Marine Corps in 1974 and moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona Law School. He graduated with his Law degree in 1977 and has since been a practicing attorney in Tucson. He is a member of the Arizona Bar and the California Bar. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 1996 at Pantano Christian Church, 10355 E. 29th St. Private Burial was held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.Memorial donations may be made to Discovery Time For Jesus, the Children’s Ministry at Pantano Christian Church.

GATES, James M., 91, of Tucson, AZ, died Wednesday, October 30, 1996 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He had been a resident of Tucson for the past 53 years. Mr. Gates was born July 22, 1901 in South Fork, PA. to John and Catherine Gates. James M. Gates was the former Post Master in South Fork, PA. Upon moving to Tucson, Mr. Gates continued working with the Postal Service until his retirement in 1975. Mr. Gates was involved in the Audubon Society and the Nature Conservancy. He was an outdoor enthusiast. Mr. Gates is survived by his wife, Eugenia Gates of Tucson; nephew, William Leonard of Tucson; niece, Elizabeth Borquez of Sierra Vista and Anne Coulihan of Setauket, NY; also, several grandnephews and nieces. Mr. Gates was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Anne, Catherine and Mary (Gates) Leonard. The family has requested memorial contributions be made in James M. Gates name to the Su Casa Nursing Home, 720 W. 41st Street, Tucson, AZ 85713.

GILMOUR, William, Sr., 73, of Tucson, died October 30, 1996. Survived by wife, Alice; children, Donna Wrightson, Elizabeth 'Betty' Breen, James Gilmour II, Marion Woltman, John Gilmour and Tom Gilmour; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Sarah Abel and Martha Wilding. He is preceded in death by sons, William Jr. and Robert. Edwin Bradford will be an honorary pallbearer. Mr. Gilmour was a life member of the DAV, honorary life member of Edgar Rice Burroughs Society and attended the Tanque Verde Baptist Church. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., where Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor John Sheley Sr. officiating. The DAV will perform military honors. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Peckville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Tanque Verde Baptist Church, 2200 N. Tanque Verde Loop Rd., Tucson, AZ 85749.
