Jeffrey David
06/06/51 – 03/09/98
was taken from us March 9, 1998 at the age of 46. His life was extinguished by those among us who steal what they should earn. A lifelong resident of Tucson, Jeffrey left only to serve his country as a Nuclear Electricians Mate in the U.S. Navy. After receiving an Honorable discharge, hereturned to Tucson and was hired by Duval (now Cyprus Minerals) to work as an electrician at their operation south of Tucson. It was there that he met his wife, Shelly and they formed a deep friendship that was the basis of their later love and marriage. Working together to help Shelly get her nursing degree, Jeff took over the household chores and worked overtime, while Shelly worked and went to college, both full-time. They had realized their dreams as they designed and built their home in the foothills. They did as much of the work as possible and Jeff was working on the house when he was murdered.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, June Smyers; and is survived his wife, Shelly; his father, Ernie; second Mom, Mary; siblings, Steve, Linda, Bruce, James, adopted sons, Keith Langen and Alan Brierly; daughter-in-law, Becky; grandchildren, Dustin and Christen; and numerous brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at 5475 N. Camino De Oeste, Saturday, March 28 starting at noon. All that knew and loved him are welcome.

Box 2310, Tucson, AZ 85702 (747-5593). Arrangements by family owned ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).
