HUTCHISON

Willie Mae Hutchison

Willie Mae Hutchison died in Woodland Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004 at age 76. Mrs. Hutchison was born May 7, 1928 in Red Bay, Ala. and had been a Yolo County resident for 44 years. She was employed by the Catadina Cannery for 22 years.

Mrs. Hutchison's survivors include Edward Lee and Sue Smith of Woodland, John and Judy Smith of Coring, Lena and Chris Duke of Yelm, Wash., Charles H. Smith of Woodland, Tina M. and Joseph Quinn of Esparto, Debbie and David Dickey of Harliton, Texas, Andy and Jennifer Hutchison of Roseburg, Ore., Rodger and Robin Hutchison of Woodland, Pegee and Mike Bimboo of Reno, Nev., William G. Hutchison of Missouri and 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Hutchison.

Services: Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30 at McNary's Chapel of Woodland, 458 College St. Burial is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 31 at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland. McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.

HUTTO

J. Sterling Hutto III

J. Sterling Hutto III died April 12, 2002, at his home in Davis. He was 38.

Born in Georgia, he had been a resident of Davis for the past three years. He grew up in St. Simons Island, Ga., attended local schools, graduated from Frederica Academy and received his electrical engineering degree from Auburn University in 1986.

He was co-founder of Vivid Studios in San Francisco and founder and CEO of Leverage Information Systems.

He is survived by his wife, Kristine of Davis; his parents, Jack Hutto of St. Simons Island and Anna Henry of St. Simons Island; two brothers, Hank and Luke Hutto of St. Simons Island; and a stepsister, Vikki Woodruff of Portland, Maine.

A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. in Muir Beach Community Center, 19 Seacape Drive in Muir Beach.

HUTZLER

Orlando Joseph "Oly" Hutzler

Orlando "Oly" Joseph Hutzler died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006 at age 83.

Mr. Hutzler was born Jan. 9, 1922 in McCartney, Wis. Survivors include Mr. Hutzler's wife of 40 years, Mildred "Midge" Hutzler of Woodland; his daughters, Sheila Hutzler of Woodland and Diane Hutzler; his son, John Hutzler of Oregon; his stepdaughters, Fran Maxwell of Oregon and Sharon Holguin of Woodland; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; his sister, Genevieve Sandvick of Dixon; and his brother, David "Blaine" Hutzler and wife Joyce.

The family requests memorials in Mr. Hutzler's name be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95617; or the American Cancer Society, 1765 Challenge Way, Suite 115, Sacramento, 95815.

Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Hutzler, a private memorial service for family is planned. The Nautilus Society of Northern California is assisting the family with arrangements.

FRAZIER

John Carl Frazier, Jr.

Family and friends mourned the passing of Lieutenant Colonel John Carl Frazier, Jr. (USAF ret.) on Friday, March 16, 2001, at the age of 82. Mr. Frazier was born on Dec. 11, 1918 in Mobile, Alabama, and lived in El Macero since 1970. He died at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base after a short illness.

First and foremost, Mr. Frazier was a military man. He joined the Army Air Corp at an early age and became a bomber pilot in the USAF Strategic Air Command, serving in World War II, the Korean War and the Viet Nam Conflict. After service at many duty stations including Texas, Oklahoma, England and the Pacific, Mr. Frazier was stationed at Travis Air Base, Military Air Transport Division, from where he retired in 1966.

Many area residents knew Mr. Frazier as the owner of Markley Cove Resort from 1964 to 1987. He loved hearing and telling fish tales. His stories entertained fishermen coming and going. He was even known to occasionally catch a "big one" himself.

Mr. Frazier loved to drive through the countryside of California. He was captivated by the beauty of Lake Berryessa and the business opportunities offered. For years he opened the store at 6 a.m. and visited with whoever had the time or inclination to talk with him.

Mr. Frazier is survived by his wife, Elna; daughter, Leigh Sutherland; son and daughter-in-law, John and Linda Frazier; grandchildren Chad and Betsy Frazier, and Quincey Sutherland, all of Winters.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 23, at 2 p.m. at Smith's Colonial Chapel in Winters. A celebration of his life will follow.

FRAZIER

Mary Alice Frazier

Mary Alice Frazier died peacefully on Feb. 21, 2006 at Alderson Convalescent Hospital in Woodland at the age of 91.

She was born on July 12, 1914 in Yolo County to Lewis J. Richter and Kate (Morris) Richter. She is preceded in death by her brother, Elwyn R. Richter.

Mary Alice is survived by her sons, Karl Frazier and companion Linda Teal of Woodland and the Reverend Earl Frazier and his wife Chong Boon of Milpitas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Susan Frazier, Edward Frazier, Tamara Frazier and Kyle Frazier and great-grandchildren Marissa Souza and Ava Frazier.

Mary Alice lived her entire life in Yolo County. She was a 1933 graduate of Woodland High School and a 1937 graduate of Chico State College. She was a member of Delta Phi Upsilon, National Honorary Professional Kindergarten-Primary Fraternity, Delta chapter. She was an elementary and high school teacher for the Woodland Joint Unified School District for seven years.

Mary Alice kept weather observation records for the State Department of Water Resources beginning in 1949. She was a volunteer at St. John's Retirement Village for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and devoted many hours to sewing clothes for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Entombment services will be private in accordance with Mary Alice's final wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Alice Frazier's name can be made to St. John's Retirement Village or the charity of the donor's choice. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.

FRAZIER-HANSEN

Sharon "Sharrie" L. Frazier-Hansen

Sharon "Sharrie" L. Frazier-Hansen died at Woodland Memorial Hospital Saturday, July 16, 2005 at age 56.

Mrs. Frazier-Hansen was born Jan. 17, 1949 in French Camp to Edward and Lucille Frazier. She had been a Yolo County resident for three years. She worked as a slot key technician for a casino.

Survivors include Mrs. Frazier-Hansen's children, Dawn Eaton, Teresa Manning and Billy Brown; seven grandchildren; her sister, Donna Cashero; her brother, Dan Frazier; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services: A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 2544 Plymouth Road, Stockton. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

FREDERICKS

David Alan Fredericks

David Alan Fredericks died at his home in Winters Saturday, May 21, 2005 at age 56.

Mr. Fredericks was born July 16, 1948 in San Francisco. He had been a Yolo County resident for more than 30 years. He graduated from Redwood High School in Marin County in 1966, attended the College of the Redwoods and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute. He was a farmer for 30 years and was a carpenter.

Survivors include Mr. Fredericks' daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Fredericks; his mother, Helen Fredericks and his brother, John H. Fredericks, all of Winters. He was preceded in death by his father, John G. Fredericks.

Services: A celebration of Mr. Fredericks' life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday, June 5 at the John G. Fredericks ranch in Winters. Ashes will be scattered in the San Francisco Bay. The Neptune Society is assisting the family with arrangements.
