Sally Kint Cole, 71, a member of the University's development staff for 15 years before her retirement in 1996, died Dec. 13 [1999] in Fenton, Mich.
She served as associate director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences on the Evanston campus before transferring to the Medical School Development Office in 1990 where she handled donor relations and special events.
Mrs. Cole was known for her ability to make friends from all walks of life. Even in retirement, she enjoyed using her people skills by working part time for a special events company.
A native of Rock Island, Ill., Mrs. Cole received a bachelor's degree in English from Lake Forest College in 1950 and a master's degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh in 1952.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Reis and Cindy Adams; two sons, Dick Sarver and Scott Sarver; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 18 in Fenton.
