Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 PM at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will be in the Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial gifts are suggested to the J. Michael Hansen MD Oncology Center.
Charles Behlmer

Batesville, IN

Charles Behlmer, 82 years of Batesville, IN passed away Sunday, February 22, 2004 at The Waters in Batesville.

He was born July 16, 1921 in Batesville, IN; the son of Frank & Molly (Johnson) Behlmer. He married Dorothy M. (Nugent) on October 26, 1946 in Bright, IN and she preceded him in death.

Mr. Behlmer is survived by his son Gerald Behlmer of Blytheville, AR; daughters Teri Artley of Elkhart, IN; Susie McFall of Greensburg, IN ad Sherrie Behlmer of Batesville, IN; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his brother Herbert Behlmer and an infant brothers.

He was a retired foreman at Batesville Casket Co., former Scout Master Troop 634, former Jaycee, US Army Veteran of WWII; member of Southeastern Umpires Assoc., Southeastern Indiana Shrine Club, Murat Shrine, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Batesville VFW, Oldest member of the 12 step program and the Milan Logde 31 F&AM.;

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 25, 2004; 10:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads with Pastor Robin Owen officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2004 from 5-8 PM with Masonic Services at 8:00 PM all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Burial will be in St. Mark Church Cemetery. Memorial gifts are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children

James Harrison
(Died May 8, 2011)

James P. Harrison, 54, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on April 28, 1957 to James and Carol (Pritchard) Harrison in Indianapolis. His parents precede him in death.

James was a machine builder for American Feeding Systems. He loved working with youth; loved to coach softball; and played baseball. He was a coach for the Indiana Shockwaves and the Indy Dreams.

He is survived by wife, Kathi Harrison of Noblesville; daughters, Jamie Marie (Jacob) Grau & Julie Leigh (Adam) Hughes; son, Jimmy Harrison; daughter, Katie Harrison; brothers, Tim, Jack & David Harrison; sisters, Debbie Odle, Judy Harrison & Chris Lerman; grandchildren, Adam Hughes, Alex Grau, Owen Hughes, Izzy Grau & Max Grau; and several nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with a time for friends and family to gather beginning at 4:00 pm prior to the service.

Memorial contributions for a college fund for Katie Harrison should be sent to the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation, PO Box 724, Noblesville, IN 46061. Please note on the check that it is for the benefit of Katie Harrison. Donations can be made at any Community Bank Branch as well.

Carla Sue Gentry
(April 28, 1965 - May 8, 2011)

Carla Sue Gentry, 46, of Arcadia, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011. She was born on April 28, 1965 to Ronald and Judy (Lutz) Gentry in Noblesville, Indiana.

Carla was a sales representative 12 years for Osram Sylvania Lighting. She loved horses and Colts football.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion, Glenn Hampton; four sons, Travis Gentry; Josh Needler; Matt Hampton, and Austin McCoy; sister, Kim Gentry; grandmother, Betty Denim; niece and nephew, Halie & Cody Cope; uncle & aunts: Kenneth & Brenda Lutz, and Pam Gentry; plus cousins, Theresa Lutz and Debra Stevens.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Gentry; her aunts and uncles: Charles "Chuck" & Babe Strong; Bob Gentry, and Sandra K. Gentry.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Carla's memory in care of Randall & Roberts Funeral Home.

Esther L. Hensley
(April 14, 1917 - May 9, 2011)

Esther L. Hensley, 94, of Fortville, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011. She was born on April 14, 1917 to John and Georgia Lees in Noblesville.

In 1985, Esther retired after 30 years as a seamstress for LS Ayres. She also worked as a clerk at Meijer for 9 years. Esther LOVED bingo!

She is survived by a son, Robert (Janet) Hensley of Beech Grove; a daughter, Betty Mathis of Indianapolis; a brother, Max Lees of Noblesville; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Hensley; a son, William "Gene" Hensley; and a sister, Helen Lees.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 16, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville. Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2011 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.

Mark Aberle
(Died May 9, 2011)

Mark Aberle, age 60, Noblesville, died Monday, May 9, 2011, following a valiant three year battle with cancer - a warrior to the end. He was born January 14, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Francis John and Edith (Pugne) Aberle and moved to Indiana during his grade school years.

Mark graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne in 1968, and received degrees from Indiana University in 1972 and 1984. He worked at Verizon (GTE) for over 31 years receiving many awards from the company and his co-workers. He was a member of Faith Community Church in Noblesville, where he was an elder, Sunday school teacher, youth group mentor, and jack-of-all-trades. His many hobbies included golf, fishing, reading, and gardening. Mark was also involved in Boy Scout Troop 105 for several years.

He married Becky (Rebecca) Solomon on June 1, 1974. She survives him, as well as their son, John, of Chicago, IL. As a family they enjoyed traveling with friends. They were part of mission trips with their church to Mississippi, Jamaica and New Orleans, where Mark helped in the building and repair of churches and schools. He enjoyed being the Lord’s hands and feet until the cancer prevented him from doing more.

Besides his wife and son, Mark is survived by his mother, Edith Aberle and his sister, Carol Jelen, both of Bluffton, SC; an aunt, Elvia Pugne of Bridgeville, PA; and several cousins, nieces & nephews. He is also fondly remembered by many children and teens who thought of him as a grandfather and mentor.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Francis, and his brother, F.J. Aberle.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 2:00PM at Faith Community Church in Noblesville.

Dorothy L. Stewart
(August 11, 1913 - May 10, 2011)

Dorothy L. Stewart, 97, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on August 11, 1913 to Walter and Effie (Dale) Duckwall in Noblesville, Indiana.

Dorothy worked as a Homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Neese of Frankton, Indiana; a grandson, Robert Jade Head; and a great-grandson, Robert Aaron Head.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Stewart; a son, Bruce Stewart; three brothers, and one sister.

No services will be held. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Siu Mak
(Died May 12, 2011)

Siu C. Mak, 77, died after a valiant fight against lung cancer, A Chinese-American Patriarch to a business family passing from China to Ontario, Canada to Central Indiana will be laid to rest on May 18, 2011 in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers, IN.

Mr. Mak was a long time restaurant owner and farm owner. He owned and operated Golden City Restaurant in Martinsville, IN and a 60 acre corn farm in Middletown IN. He was most dedicated to the youngest son and daughter and their families in his last 10 years of retirement from 1998 until his death. He supported his grandchildren with tremendous educational trips to Hong Kong, China, Canada, Philadelphia and New York. He left a legacy of adventure, memories, pictures, laughter and fun, and purposeful support for his surviving wife. His wife requires the health care of his youngest daughter and son's families.

He was a man who demanded respect and that his family remain united with China, Hong Kong, Ontario, Canada, to Middletown, IN to his final resting place and home in Fishers, IN. His values for family were witnessed & greatly respected by the medical personnel of Community North Hospital during the unanticipated time of death.

He is survived by wife, Siu F Mak, son, Bing F (Sui Hong Mak) Mak, son, Wai H. Mak, daughter, Yan Xia Mai (Terry Dawson) Mak, daughter, Yim Ling Mak, sister, Wai L (Wai Yim Ip) Mak, grandsons, Kin Ming Mak, Kweisi Mak Dawson, and Freedom Mak Dawson, granddaughters, Joanne Mak and Sau Yee Mak, nephew, Pui Hing (Cheung Ng) Ip and Pui Bong (Sun Mei Liu) Ip, great niece, Cecilia (Douglas) Legear, great nephews, Tsz Hang (Wen Lam) Ip and Ho Kuan Ip, great great nephew Lucas Legear.

Mr. Mak had a "Family of Loyalty" of those who loved and cared: Ginger & John McCabe, Craig & Barb Mark, Randy B. & Robin Mark, Yua Ling Mai, Claire Mark Gantz (deceased), Yue Jyn Chun, Shak Lui, Susan Mak, Bei Juiu House, Bei Bei Shuai, Caye Mark Yantcy, Chik & Julie Kim & family, Eva Chan, Kenny & Wanda Chan, Bing Fung Mark, Bing Yin Mark, Bing Yan Mark, Yim Hing Chan, Yim Fung Mark, and Yim Ping Mark.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cheung Choi Mak, mother, Fung Hoi (Yu) Mak and a brother in law Wai Yim Ip.

A farewell gathering will be held at Hamilton Memorial Park Tuesday May 17, 2011 from 6:00 - 10:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at Randall and Roberts Fishers Mortuary from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm Wednesday. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with graveside service from 1:00 -2:00 PM.

Donald Wayne Roudebush
(August 6, 1946 - May 14, 2011)

Donald Wayne Roudebush Sr., 64, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his home . He was born on August 6, 1946 to Carl and Frances (Griffin) Roudebush in Noblesville.

Don was the retired owner of Telecare Inc. He was a firefighter for 10 years with the Anderson Indiana Fire Department. He was very passionate in his faith, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he also enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by wife, Jane Ann Roudebush; mother, Frances Marshall; sons, Donnie Roudebush & Mark Roudebush; step-sons, D.J. Barnett & Brad Barnett; four grandchildren; and sisters, Vickie Riley & Billie Jean Wyant.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Larry Marshall.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Pastor and friend Sean Tienhaara officiating. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home from 1:00 pm - 6:30 pm, prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
