Gene David Watson, 73 of Bristol, TN formerly of Belfry, Ky.
passed away Tuesday night, April 16, 2013 at Bristol Hospice House.
Gene was born January 14, 1940 at Van Lear, Ky. the son of the
late Walter Aaron and Dialphia Spencer Watson. He was also
preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Holsbach and Louise Dotson
and one brother, Rodney Watson.
Gene was a retired coal miner with Eastern Coal Corporation
and a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Survivors include his longtime loving companion, Linda
Sampson of Bristol, TN; son, Trey (Wanda) Watson of Belfry, KY;
daughters, Lisa Watson Thornsberry of Bristol, TN, Gena (Bucky) May of Canada, Ky. and Tia
(Chris) Ratliff of Belfry, KY; brothers, Jimmy, Richard and Mike Watson all of Belfry, KY,
Ronnie and Gary Watson both of Pikeville, KY; sisters, Ollie Rowe of Virginia, Margaret
Matney of Grundy, VA, Shelby Varney of Morristown, TN and Janet Thacker of NC;
grandchildren, Kari Cook, Nathanael Thornsberry, Bryana Deskins, Cheyenne Thornsberry,
Gabrielle Kevish, Tanner Daugherty, Destiny Trey Watson, David Cade Watson and Colby
Daugherty; great grandchildren, Sarah Jane Cook, Mykaela Raine Cook, Jaxon Cole Estridge
and Joshua Bentley Kevish and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with Chris Ratliff, Tanner Daugherty, Mike Watson, Bucky
May, Joshua Watson and Jordan Watson serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Thursday and Friday at the Funeral Home Chapel with
special services Thursday night at 7 PM with Jody Thompson officiating and Friday night at 7
PM with Mike Smith.

Oleta Thacker of Turkey Creek, KY departed this earth and into the arms of the Lord on
April 18, 2013.
She was a devoted Christian, mother, wife, granny, sister and friend. She dedicated her
entire life to serving the Lord and to her family. She loved her husband, children and grandsons
unconditionally. Her smile and laughter would light up the room. Her words of encouragement
and comfort were a blessing. She always made anyone feel at home and had a sense of humor
that could make laughter be heard throughout the house. She was so proud of her children and
grandchildren.
She was born August 27, 1946 at South Williamson, KY. She is walking the streets of
gold alongside her parents Willard and Hazel Sellards and her sister, Annis Clark.
She leaves behind and awaits patiently to be reunited with her husband; Lee Thacker,
daughters; Cheryl Thacker, Angela (David) Hackney and Kari (Brandon) Mayhorn, and son
Derek Thacker. Her precious grandsons; Keaton Hackney, Ethan Hackney, and Trevor Thacker.
Her sisters, Phyllis Williamson and Dollie Preece and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 PM Monday April 22, 2013 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home
with Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens at Huddy,
KY with J.B. Smith, Greg Stepp, Caleb Carter, Caleb Tackett, Noah Carter and Coty
Williamson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be David Hackney and Brandon
Mayhorn.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home with special
services at 7 PM Sunday night.

Aleah Grace Chapman, infant daughter of Kendra Ann Chapman and Daniel Blevins of
Williamson, WV passed away Friday April 19, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Hospital.
She is preceded in death by maternal great grandfather; Angelee Harris Sr., paternal great
grandfather; Earl Robinette, paternal great uncle; Danny Blevins and maternal great aunt; Diane
Harris.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother; Amy Chapman of
Williamson, WV, maternal grandfather; Joe Chapman of Louisa, KY, paternal grandparents;
Murl and Brenda Blevins of Williamson, WV, Maternal great grandmother; Octavia Harris of
Williamson, WV, paternal great grandmother; Linda Robinette of Williamson, WV, paternal
great grandparents; Murl and Ann Blevins of Williamson, WV, maternal aunt and uncle;
Christopher Chapman of Williamson, WV, and Kelly Harris of Williamson, WV, paternal aunt;
Kristina Blevins of Williamson, WV and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and other family
members.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday April 23, 2013 at the Nolan Church
of God with Eugene Preece officiating. Burial will follow at the Family Cemetery, Dick
Williamson Branch Road with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday night at the funeral home.

Denise Williamson Bandy, age 50 of Huddy, left this world
April 20, 2013 to be with Jesus. Denise was a long time member of
Hardy United Methodist Church where she was a very active
member and a child of God and wanted everyone to know that God
came first.
Denise was born June 7, 1962 in Williamson, WV. She leaves
behind a close family and a host of friends. She was the wife of
Dennis Bandy of Huddy, Ky. and the daughter of John Richard
Williamson of Huddy, Ky. and the late Mary Jane Williamson. In
addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her one son and joy of her life, Michael
Jason Ratliff of Louisville, Ky. She is also survived by one brother, Richard Lee Williamson
and sister-in-law, Cathy Marie Williamson of Ivel, Ky. She was preceded in death by one sister,
Janie Diana Williamson. Denise is survived by four nieces and nephews that were so special in
her life, Shane Richard Williamson, Shawna Leigh Williamson, Michael Jonathon Pinson and
Marijane Chanah Williamson. She was inspirational in each of their upbringings taking each of
them to church and teaching them the story of Jesus. Three step children, Cambria Cordeau,
Emily Bandy and Joshua Bandy. She is also survived by special lifelong friends, Lois Williams
Kitts of Pikeville, Ky. and special friend, Darlene Blackburn Stanley. Denise was so very
special to so many friends and family members and will be sadly missed.
Denise worked at South Williamson ARH for the last 18 years where she was more than
just a friend to so many of her peers. She was an inspiration to all; too many to name. Denise
lived her life for God, her family, her friends and would stand up and say she was proud of all.
She will be remembered by all as the one that done it all. Her perseverance to get things done
was second to none and she will leave a hole in so many lives as we try to move on without her.
Funeral services will be held at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, Ky. on Wednesday,
April 24 at 1 PM with Geoff Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View
Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with special friends, family and her ARH family serving as
pallbearers. Her Uncles will be Honorary Pallbearers.
Family visitation will begin at 5 PM on Tuesday, April 23 and after 6 PM for friends.
Special services will be held at 7 PM with Geoff Tackett. Please come join us in the celebration
of her life.

Larry Pem "Webbco" Webb, 63 of Turkey Creek, KY passed away Tuesday April 23,
2013 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.
He was born February 13, 1950 in Pike County, KY to the late John Pem and Emogene
Webb Webb. He is also preceded in death by one son; Larry Bryan Webb and one sister; Rita
Jean Webb.
He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Living Water Church.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica Rose Pittman Webb of Turkey Creek, KY; two
daughters, Aianna Lavette Penelope Webb of Turkey Creek, KY and Crystal Dawn Johnson of
Fl; one son, John Pem Webb of Fl; one step daughter, Robin Adams of Turkey Creek, KY; one
sister, Barbara (Clarence) Crigger of Williamson, WV; two brothers, Buddy Webb of Turkey
Creek, KY and Gary (Roberta) Webb of Turkey Creek, KY; grandchildren, Cassandra Webb,
Gage Johnson, Dylan Webb, Tyler Webb, Emma Webb, Matthew Vincent, Devin Vincent,
Xavier Webb and Kimberly Dotson.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday April 27, 2013 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home
with Johnny Branch officiating. Burial will follow at the Webb Family Cemetery, Turkey
Creek, KY with James Hardin, Richard Chafin, Richard Nelson, Ransom Wolford, Neal Jewell
and Darrin Elkins serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be John Pem Webb.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday night at the funeral home.

Grover Cleveland "Squire" Ramey Jr. 84 of Turkey Creek,
Kentucky passed away Saturday April 27, 2013 at Pikeville Medical
Center.
He was born March 15, 1929 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late
Grover Cleveland Ramey Sr. and Octavia Hunt Ramey. He was also
preceded in death by his six brothers, of which he was the youngest.
He was the service manager for Thompson Pontiac - Buick for 54
years and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Carlotta Smith Ramey of Turkey Creek, Ky.; son, Grover
Cleveland Ramey III of Maryland; special niece, Eva Lynn Kinder of Matewan, West Virginia;
special friends, Sheb and Cecil Hatfield, Pat and Deborah Harris, Bill and Marie Bevins.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday at Mountain View Memory
Gardens with Mike Elswick officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens,
Huddy, Kentucky, with Belfry Chapter #141 DAV conducting Military Graveside Services.
Visitation will be from 6 PM until 9 PM Monday night at the funeral home.

Georgia Ann Scott, 93, formerly of Ransom, Kentucky more
recently of Piqua, Ohio passed away at 8:54 am Saturday April 27, 2013
at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
She was born October 15, 1919 in Ransom, Kentucky to the late
George and Nancy Ann Hatfield Sullivan. She married Jonah Scott; he
preceded her in death May 1, 1988.
She is survived by four daughters, Rita (Bill) Carter of Houston,
Ohio, Loretta (Larry) Haynes, Nada Scott all of Piqua, Ohio, Karoline
(Floyd) Canada of Pikeville, Kentucky; two sons, Lonnie (Rosalie) Scott
and James Scott all of Piqua, Ohio; a daughter-in-law Donna Scott of Piqua, Ohio; eleven
grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Billy Scott, three brothers, three sisters, two
granddaughters, a daughter-in-law and two infant children.
Mrs. Scott was a wonderful homemaker. She was active with the Blue Springs Freewill
Baptist Church of Ransom, Kentucky and attended the First Piqua Freewill Baptist Church. She
loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Scott's family will receive friends locally from 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday April 30,
2013, at the Jamison & Yannucci Funeral Home, Piqua, Ohio 6:00-9:00 pm, and on Wednesday
May 1, 2013 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, Kentucky with a service to honor her life
at 11:00 am Thursday at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Rev. Emery Varney and Rev. Bob
Werntz co-officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy,
Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County,
Inc, P.O. Box 502 Troy, Ohio 45356, the First Piqua Freewill Baptist Church, 1500 Clack Ave.
Piqua, Ohio 45356 or the Blue Springs Freewill Baptist Church, 1272 Dials Rd, Ransom,
Kentucky 41558.
