Frank D. Keesee, 77, of Belfry, KY, passed away Friday,
March 29, 2013 at Saint Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV.
He was born January 30, 1936 at Belfry, KY the son of the
late Moss and Della Mae Myers Keesee. He was also preceded in
death by two brothers, Clyde Keesee and Albert Keesee; three
sisters; Helen Farmer, Lorene Hensley and Mary Jane Miller and
one niece; Cindy Keathley.
He was a car salesman for Moore Auto Group, a member of
the First Baptist Church of Belfry and attended the Stone United
Methodist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Kim Keesee (James) Maynard of Turkey Creek, KY; one
granddaughter, Erin (Daniel) Marcum of Turkey Creek, KY; two great grandchildren, Brayden
Marcum and Addison Marcum; ex-wife, Joann Keesee of Turkey Creek, KY; two brothers,
Sheriff Charles "Fuzzy" (Edith) Keesee of Phelps, KY and Alben (Josephine) Keesee of Turkey
Creek, KY; one sister, Nancy Worley of McVeigh, KY; sister-in-law, Linda Keesee of Belfry,
KY; one special cousin; Wood Keesee of Vanceburg, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
Funeral services are Noon, Tuesday April 2, 2013, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with
Bob Norman and Elizabeth Blanton officiating. Burial will follow at the Keesee Cemetery,
Belfry, KY, with Daniel Marcum, George Haydu, George Sanner, John Burgraff, Jim Worley,
Jeff Hatfield, Shannon Dotson and Benny Sammons serving as pallbearers. Honorary
pallbearers will be current and former employees of the Moore Auto Group, members of the
Pike County Sheriff Department and his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2013, night at the funeral home with
special singing at 7:00 p.m.

Arland "Bo" Lewis, 64 of Williamson, WV passed away Wednesday, April 3,
2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV.
He was born July 5, 1948 in Pike County, Ky. the son of the late Arlie and Eileen
Helton Lewis. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Elder Lewis, Elmer
Lewis and Jimmie Lee Lewis and one sister, Shelia Rena Maynard.
Bo was a former auto mechanic.
Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Gail Smith of Turkey Creek, Ky.; ex-wife,
Vonnie Lewis of Williamson, WV; sisters, Alice Faye May of Canada, Ky., Minnie
Patricia Starr of South Charleston, WV and Joann Varney of Forest Hills, Ky.;
brothers, Earl Lewis of Williamson, WV and Richard Keith Lewis of Rawl, WV;
grandsons, Paul David Mounts, Matthew Christopher Smith and Samuel Blaine
Smith and a host of other family and friends.
There will not be any visitation, according to his wishes he will be cremated.

Winnie Lee "Wanda" Sellards, 77 of Turkey Creek, Ky. passed away Sunday,
April 7, 2013 at Signature Healthcare, Pikeville, Ky.
He was born November 22, 1935 at White Post, Ky. the daughter of the late
Victor and Sulia Caines Canada. She was also preceded in death by her husband,
James Robert Sellards Jr.; four brothers, Charles, Wade, Ernest and Curtis Canada
and three sisters, Lola Stuart, Dixie Liebiee and Zola Montgomery.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Williamson Area Church of
Christ.
Survivors include her children, Marquita Martin of Delbarton, WV, Danny
Sellards and Carolyn Stanley both of Turkey Creek, Ky., James Sellards and Bennie
Sellards both of North Carolina and Lisa Varney of Stone, Ky.; brother, Landon
(Virginia) Canada of Johns Creek, Ky.; sister, Mattie Costner of Huntington, WV;
ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11 AM in the R.
E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Joseph Crum officiating. Burial will follow in
the Sellards Family Cemetery, Turkey Creek, Ky. with family and friends serving
as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.

Hettie Marie Jude Bostic, 81 of Pikeville, Ky formerly
of Williamson, WV passed away Tuesday April 9, 2013 at
Signature Healthcare in Pikeville, KY.
She was born March 5, 1931 at Williamson, WV to
the late Clarence D. and Emily Brunty Parsley. She is
preceded in death by her first husband; James Ireland Jude,
who died June 26, 1999; brother, William Parsley and one
sister, Emma Louise Lawrence.
Hettie was a former office manager for the Credit
Bureau and a member of the Island Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; Philip Bostic of Pikeville, KY; one son,
James Donald Jude of Williamson, WV; one daughter, Emily Jeanette Jude Coffee
of Athens, GA; step daughters, Wanda Kay Jones of MI and Vonda Chapman of
Lily, KY; one sister, Evelyn Benton of Hot Springs, AK; one grandchild, Michael
Phillip Coffee of Savannah, GA and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Friday April 12, 2013 at R. E.
Rogers Funeral Home with Bob Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain
View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV with friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 PM Thursday night at the funeral home.

Charles Floyd Bowe, 61 of Stone, Ky. passed away
Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home.
Charles was born March 11, 1952 in Mingo County,
WV the son of the late Herbert and Edna Alice Smith
Bowe. He was also preceded in death by his brother,
Marvin Scott and nephew, Michael Bowe Jr.
He was a retired disabled American Veteran. He
served twenty two years in the United States Marine Corps
with two terms in Vietnam. He received the Purple Heart
Medal for wounds he suffered in the Vietnam Conflict. He
received several other medals and distinguished awards
throughout his services to this great country he loved so much. He was very proud
to be an American Veteran. He said, "Once a Marine Always a Marine!"
He is survived by his son, Charlie Preston Bowe of Yuba City, California;
three brothers, Michael (Nina) Bowe Sr. of Stone, Ky., Randy (Margaret) Scott of
Borderland, WV and J. D. (Janet) Bowe of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Ramona Bowe
(Douglas) Hitchens of Blacklick, Ohio and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11 AM in the R.
E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Werntz officiating. Burial will follow in
the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with family and friends serving
as pallbearers. Belfry Chapter #141 DAV will conduct Military Graveside Services.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.

Sally Mae Ellis, 72 of South Williamson, KY went home to be with
the Lord on Monday, April 1st, 2013.
Sally was born on May 17, 1940 the daughter of the late Archie and
Nora Aldridge Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Dingess and Lenora Dingess;
brother Charles Homer Thompson and sister-in-law Gertrude Thompson.
She is survived by her husband Lonnie T. Ellis, of South
Williamson, KY; her son, Duane Dingess of Dingess, WV; granddaughter,
Brittney (Nathan) May of Dingess, WV; former daughter-in-law, Brenda
Bragg of Dingess, WV; step-daughter, Vicki ( Dr. Chuck) Johnson of South Williamson, KY;
step-son, Lonnie T. (Trudy) Ellis Jr. of Ravenswood, WV; two step granddaughters, Mary Beth
Johnson of Louisville, KY and Victoria Ellis of Ravenswood, WV; two step grandsons, Charles
Edward Johnson, III (Chas) of Lexington, KY and Lonnie T. Ellis, III (Trey) of Ravenswood,
WV; brother, James Thompson of Marengo, OH; three sisters, Morine (Grant) Hayden of
Huntington, WV, Linda Sue Morrison of Johnson City, TN, Arisba (Stanley) Fink of Ceredo
Kenova, WV; sister-in-law, Violet Thompson of Dingess, WV and a host of nieces, nephews
and friends.
Sally worked for the Mingo County EOC and was the owner of Sally's Country Kitchen
in Varney, WV. Sally loved and cared for all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 11 AM in the R. E. Rogers
Funeral Home Chapel with Stanley Fink leading the service. Entombment will follow at
Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held after 6PM Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Funeral Home Chapel.
R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry is in charge of arrangements.

John Fred Hunt, 65 of Belfry, KY passed away Friday April 12, 2013 at his residence.
He was born June 15, 1947 in Mingo County, WV to the late
Carroll E. and Mattie Potensky Hunt. He is also preceded in death by his
sister-in-law; Elizabeth "Liz" Hunt.
He was a retired assistant principal at Belfry High School and a Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by his wife; Janice Gayle Grossl Hunt, one son John
(Retha Baldwin) Hunt II of Belfry, Ky, one brother; James Carroll Hunt
of Belfry, KY, one granddaughter; Chelsea (Jeremy Workman) Hunt of Belfry, KY, nephew,
James Carroll Hunt II of Belfry, KY, great nephew; Nicholas James Carroll Hunt of Belfry,
KY, a very close cousin; Lorraine Smith of Belfry, KY and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Monday April 15, 2013 at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church with Father Elpidio Geneta officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View
Memory Gardens at Huddy, KY with Jeremy Workman, Jimmy Hunt, Nick Hunt, John Hunt II,
Keith Baldwin and Cory Matney serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Hunt, Bob Scott, David Lester, Rush Runyon, Rod
Varney, Mark Gannon, Joseph Grossl, Ron Grossl, Stan Clark, Tom Maming and Philip Haywood.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 PM Sunday night at R. E. Rogers Funeral, Belfry, KY.
