Kentucky Marriage Records by County

Lemon
Kenny Lemon, 61, of Marion, passed away July 26, 2004 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Kenny Lemon of Marion; a daughter, Kim Cosby of Marion; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Lemon; and a son-in-law, Robby Cosby.
Funeral services were July 28 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Sister Lucy Tedrick and Rev. Mark Faughn officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.

Ford
Gale Ford, 66, of Marion, passed away July 26, 2004 at Livingston Hospital. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Grahamville and a member of Local #37 Heat and Frost Insulators Asbestos Workers in Evansville.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ford of Marion; two sons, Kenneth Ford of Marion and Richard Ford of Carmel, Ill.; a sister, Linda Bonacci of Trumansburg, NY; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Estil and Edna Laverne Ford.
Funeral services are 1 p.m., July 29 at Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wendell Ordway and Rev. Cortis Hill officiating. Burial is in Piney Fork Cemetery.
Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice or to Piney Fork Cemetery, c/o Nina Winn, 168 Country Club Drive, Marion, KY 42064.

Modglin
MOUNDS, Ill. ­ Funeral services for Larry R. Modglin, 57, formerly of Tamms, Ill., were July 22, 2004 at Jones Funeral Home Villa Ridge with Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating. Burial was in National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill.
Modglin passed away July 19 at his home. He was a Vietnam War veteran and served as a former village marshal in Tamms. He was a former member of the Cairo Police Department and retired after 27 years as a control room operator with the Tamms Department of Corrections.
Surviving a daughter, Laura Smith of Cairo, Ill.; a brother, Roy Modglin of Mounds; a sister, Betty Parrish of Marion; three step brothers, Louis Wilson, Charles Wilson and Richard Wilson, all of Mounds; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Modglin and Agnes Berry Modglin Wilson.

Fritts
FAIRFIELD, Ala. ­ Nona Lou Fritts passed away July 15, 2004. She was a member of Fairfield First Baptist Church.
She was born in Crittenden County and was a member of Caldwell Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Thompson of Woodstock, Ala., Eddie Fritts of Forestdale and Bobby Fritts of Maytown, Ala.; two daughters, Nancy Cordell of Fairfield and Linda Jones of Gardendale, Ala.; a sister, Della Bozeman of Ft. Worth, Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chastain Fritts; a daughter, Roberta Whitt; and her parents, Edgie J. Brasher and Nannie McClure Brasher.
Graveside services were July 17 at Highland Memorial Gardens.

Bradham
Rickey D. Bradham, 46, of Marion, passed away July 17, 2004.
Graveside services were July 22 at Whites Chapel Cemetery.
Surviving are his parents, Archie and Betty Bradham of Greenville, Miss.; five sons, Rickey D. Bradham, Jr., Phillip W. Bradham, Ryan O. Bradham, Bryan O. Bradham and Christopher W. Bradham, all of Marion; three sisters, Debbie Boyd of Pine Bluff, Ark., Rita Head and Peggie Bradham, both of Greenville, Miss; two brothers, Archie Bradham and Randy Bradham, both of Texas; four grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Truitt
LEXINGTON, S.C. ­ Charles Henry Truitt, 84, passed away July 17, 2004. He was born in Crittenden County. He retired after 45 years with Industrial Welding Supplies, currently known as Holox. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Services were July 19 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in Lexington.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Bloodworth and Becky David, both of West Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Leona Franks of Columbia and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Belt Truitt.

Nolan
FREDONIA, Ky. ­ William Cecil Nolan, 76, passed away July 26, 2004 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Private services are planned. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita Nolan of Fredonia; two sons, William T. Nolan of Ashville, N.C. and Marlon R. Nolan of Salem; a daughter, Diane Nolan of Chicago; four brothers, Ralph Nolan of Fredonia, John Nolan and Tom Nolan, both of Tennessee, and Patrick Nolan of Dallas; six sisters, Anna Lee Brock of Kentucky, Ethel Hannah of Virginia, Etta Lucas of South Carolina, Mary Nolan of Harlan, and Elaine Nolan and Janie Ely, both of Louisville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by is parents, Ted and Nancy Nolan; and two brothers.

Knight
PRINCETON, Ky. ­ Margaret Knight, 86, passed away July 17, 2004 at Caldwell County Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services were July 19 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery in Lyon County.
Surviving are five sons, Wendell Knight, Cecil Knight and Dennis Knight, all of Princeton, Van Knight of Fredonia and Dan Knight of Star, Miss.; two brothers, R.M. Peek of Hopkinsville and Ray Peek of Dycusburg; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. H.D. Knight; a daughter, Janice Carol Knight; a brother, Bailey Peek and her parents, Dave and Lula Wauler Peek.

Arthur
LEDBETTER, Ky. ­ Rosalyn Smith Arthur, 89, passed away July 13, 2004 at Livingston Hospital.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Assantino of Ledbetter; a son, Carl Reed Driskill of Symsonia; a brother, Lee Smith of Tiline; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were July 17 at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Howard officiating. Burial was in Groves Chapel.

Wemhoener
LEDBETTER, Ky. ­ Funeral services for Lucille House Wemhoener, 89, were July 16, 2004 at Smith Funeral Chapel. Bro. Wayne Hicks and Bro. Jerry Howard officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Wemhoener passed away July 15 at Parkview Nursing Home. She was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Georgie L. House of Ledbetter; a sister, Edna Massey of Paducah; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lula Holman; a grandson, Larry House; two sisters; and four brothers.

Bolen
SALEM, Ark. ­ Dorothy Blanche Bolen, 71, formerly of Crittenden County, passed away July 15, 2004 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Ark.
Graveside services were July 17 at Rosebud Cemetery. Rev. David Davis officiated.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Bolen; a son, Tex Hodges of Melbourne, Fla.; a daughter, Sondra Long of Eldorado, Ill; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
