THE BLUE AND GOLD. 25 JI LT A LITTLE SO METH 1 N Just a little figure. written on our card. Makes us made as ever. For we try so hard. Just a little mouse-e, running on the floor. Made all the girls in our class go flying through the door. Just a little book-shelf, piled up full of books, Makes us stride around now, with very serious looks. Just a little tack, supposed to be the prize. Made Roland Parks remember, to at once arise. Just a little rubber, dangling on the light. Made some senior boys wish they were out of sight. Just another rubber, sailing through the air. Paused at Lillian's face and spoiled her golden hair. Just a little German. (Thanks, we have no more) Got Milo upset and made him very sore. Just a little typewriter. made to go too fast. Contracted severe heart trouble and now it's dead—alas! Just a little calendar, hanging on the wall, Says that June is coning, and to he sure. that's all. Just a little mistletoe, on a pretty head, Made a certain boy blush. I won't tell what he said. Just a little note, passing along the line. Caught the eye of Miss K. Well, that note's not mine. II. Stark. '17. CHARACTERISTIC SAYINGS. Lillian —"I don't care." Milo —"What do ya want?" Eleanor —"Is that so?" (emphasis on "that") Roland —"She's a bird." Willis —"That strikes me" (Bowling even ill his conversation.)
