Born in Glen Haven, Halifax Co., he was a son of the late Evard and Edna (Johnson) Boutilier.
He was a carpenter all his working life.
He was an avid sports fan enjoying hockey and baseball, as well as a hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ernestine Kempton;
daughters, Barbara Weagle, Wilmot Station, Annapolis Co.;
Leora (Mrs. William Cavanaugh), Wileville;
sons, Granville, Albany New; Vincent, Manotick, Ont.;
13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren;
sister, Bertha Dwinell, Scarborough, Ont.; half-sister, Beulah McDonald, Toronto;
brother, Russell, Golden, B.C.; half-brothers, Hector, Edward, Toronto.
He was predeceased by brothers, Clyde Boutilier, Arthur Gray.
Visitation 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Kempt United Baptist Church,
until time of funeral, 3 p.m., Rev. Paul Blakeney officiating.
Burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Kempt.Family flowers only.
Donations to Queens General Hospital Foundation helipad fund.

Charles Anthony Boutilier

BOUTILIER, Charles Anthony, 75, Port Caledonia, died February 17 1999, in Glace Bay Health Care Complex.
Born in Port Caledonia, he was a son of the late Charles and Katherine (Murrant) Boutilier.
He was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Port Caledonia.
He worked as a miner in collieries #4, #20, #26, and retired from Phalen Colliery in 1987.
Surviving are his wife, Norma (MacLean).
Daughter, Linda (Mrs. Waiter Snow), Port Caledonia;
sister, Margaret (Mrs. George MacLeod), Port Caledonia.
Two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brothers, William, Gordon.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Fatten Funeral Home and Chapel, 71 Union St., Glace Bay.
Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Port Caledonia, Rev. D. Paul Findlay officiating.
Burial to follow in St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, Port Caledonia.

He passed away on February 2, 1999, at 9:20 p.m. at the IWK Grace in Halifax.
He is survived by grandparents, Ann and Virgil Harnish, Lower Sackville.

Born in Dutch Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Caroline (Isenor) Paley. br> She was known as Aunt Dot or Mrs. Boutilier in her community.
She taught school, for over 37 years in Beaver Bank.
She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Good Shepherd Guild.
She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed gardening.
She enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren·
She is survived by daughters, Joyce (Mrs. Jim Hovey), Wards Brook;
Barbara (Leslie Westbury), Mildred (Bob) Soubilere, all of Beaver Bank.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m Friday.

Born in Halifax, he was the youngest son of the late Arthur and Ethel M.(Brown) Boutilier, Halifax.
Educated in the Halifax schools, Ashbury College, Ottawa and Dalhousie University,
he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a pilot,
instructor in the Second World War, and following the war.
He served as president of three photo finishing companies until his retirement in 1972 .
He is survived by daughters, Barbara Clair Armstrong, Halifax;
Catherine Mary (Mrs.Ken Brown), Kelowna, B.C.
Daphne Lynn Boutilier, Los Angeles, Calif.
his son, Arthur George Boutilier, Yellowknife;
grandsons, Michael P. Armstrong, Halifax; Gregory T. Armstron J., Dartmouth,

in the main floor reception room.

She was employed at the VG Hospital and at the Atlantic Colonial Bowling Centre.
She was an avid bowler and knitting was her favourite pastime.
Surviving are daughters, Lillian (Mrs. Harold Calbraith), Halifax; Kathleen(Billy)(Mrs.Clarence Rogers), Fernie, B.C.; son, Ernest Jr. Vanier, Ont.
sisters, Dora Hape, Parrsboro, Arvilla Cuvelier, Hatchet Lake; Martha Rushton, Bellmont; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by husband Ernest; infant son, Donald; brothers, Tom, Michael, Jack, Lloyd; sisters, Mary, Alice.
No visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be at a later date in Springhill.
No flowers by request.
