Robert Allen “Bob” Burnes, 69, of Ava, formerly of Nixa, died far too young at the age of 74 in the state of Washington.
The son of Marcus and Araminta (Huff) Hamilton, Duane was interment there will be a graveside service at Goodhope passed away Friday, March 17, 2006, in Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center at the age of 99.
She was death by her husband, both parents, one infant son, one sister, Polly, one granddaughter, Shirley Fleetwood, two half brothers, and one half sister.
Easter is lovingly survived by two sons, Wendell King and wife, Linda, of Ava, and Bob King and wife, Twyla, of Eufaula, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; other special relatives and caring friends.
Funeral services and a celebration of Easter O. King’s life were held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, in the Ava United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Dowler officiating.
Easter was laid to rest beside her husband, Vern, in Harmony passed away March 11, 2006 at a Pocahontas Nursing Home and Rehab Center.
He was death by his parents, John T. and Lillie Lawson McSwain; a brother, Glennard McSwain, and an infant brother.
He leaves to mourn his Cemetery.
Vera Stark, 75

Vera Stark, daughter of Lon Hollingshad and Mae (Summers) Hollingshad, was death by her parents, Lon and Mae Hollingshad; two brothers, Virgil Hollingshad and Noel Hollingshad; and two sisters, Louise Hollingshad Redburn and Opal Carte.
Survivors include one brother, Joseph E. Hollingshad, of Dora; and one sister, Ruth Rickard, of West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at Howell Valley born Aug. 24, 1925, at Highlonesome, the daughter of William “Bill” and Matle (Nelson) Morrison.
In November 1937, Luetta was baptized and became a lifelong member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. On Feb. 2, 1946, she was united in marriage to Bernace Eugene “Gene” Harvill. To this union seven children were death by her husband, Gene, on Aug. 29, 1986, and her husband, Earl Willis, on Oct. 4, 2002; her son, Glen Allen, one infant son, one infant daughter, her parents, and two brothers, Max and Paul.
Luetta raised her family and enjoyed life to the fullest on her farm in Douglas County for many years. She retired from 24 years of service at Fasco Industries of Ozark in 1990.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with the Rev. Carl Thompson officiating. Burial was in Highlonesome passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at her home.
She was married in Kansas City, Kan., and had 61 years of marriage. He survives at the home.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and she and her husband were the owners and operators of the Brown Hardware Store in Leeton. She also was a member of the Leeton Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Calvin Brown and wife, Carol, of Warrensburg, and James Brown and wife, Jackie, of Gardner, Kan.; a daughter, Connie Williams and husband, David, of Leeton; three brothers, Glen Detherage, of Ava, John Detherage, of Sedalia, and Dale Detherage, of Leeton; two sisters, Iris Lane, Sedalia, and Gail Shumate, Warrensburg; three grandsons, Don Brown, Fort Leonard Wood, Dan Brown, Knob Noster, and Jason Williams, Warrensburg; three granddaughters, Amy Tobin, Franklin, Ohio, Christian Bysor, Chilhowee, and Melanie Noble, of San Marcos, Texas; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in Cemetery.
