Harry Zachariah McGinness, of Santa Paula, Calif., was death by his wife, Mildred; his parents; a sister, Roxanna Baggerly, of Bremerton, Wash.; four brothers, Jim, of Tribune, Kans., Louis, of Niotage, Kans., George of Ava, and an infant brother, Abinah William.
He leaves behind three daughters, DeAnn Rutudye and husband, Allen, of Oxnard, Calif., Ronda Williams and husband, Walter, of Ojai, Calif., Leanna Fox and husband, Henry, of Torrance, Calif.; two sons, Harry Eugene and wife, Linda, of Laughlin, and Mycul Fisher, of Santa Paula, Calif.; one sister, Jessie Horner of Ava; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Graveside services were conducted Friday Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. with burial at Santa Paula, Calif.
Linda (Dobbs) Scott, 47

Linda Scott, the daughter of Johnny William Dobbs and Gladys (Leroy) Dobbs, was death by her parents, two brothers, Jerry and Gary, and two sisters, Marjorie and Karen.
She is survived by her children, Casey Lea Dobbs and companion Jason Bewley, of Ava, Winston Scott and Rebecca, Theodosia, and Brandy Scott and husband, Chris Engelhardt, Ava; grandchildren, Bailey and Ashton Bewley, Tristin Engelhardt, and Dylan, David and Riley Scott; two brothers, Ray and Margie Dobbs, Ava, and Larry and Willa Dobbs, Plano, Iowa; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial service was held Tuesday, March 11, at 3 p.m., in the New Hope passed away Thursday, March 17, 2005, in Theodosia, at the age of 59.
Hervil was married that year on Oct. 31 in Theodosia. He worked as a supervisor for Hodgson Mill for several years, and then was employed by Empire Gas Company. Also, he and his family ran a beef cattle farm.
He had accepted and devoted his life to Christ. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, Cally and Kyle.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene Clayton, of the home, Theodosia; one son, Darrin Dean Clayton and wife, Lois, of Theodosia; grandchildren, Cally Clayton and Kyle Clayton, both of Theodosia; a brother, Harlin Clayton and wife, Donna, Theodosia; a half brother, Ronnie Clayton, Mtn. Grove; half sisters, Kathy Goodman and Connie Stephenson, both of Mtn. Grove; and his mother, Beaulah (Mahan) Clayton Mashburn, of Theodosia.
He was preceded in Cemetery at Longrun.

Fisher Heath Harvill, infant son of Tad and Melanie (Arington) Harvill, of Mansfield, death by his maternal great-grandparents, L.P. “Shorty” and Dottie Robertson; maternal great-grandmother, Virginia Arington; and paternal great-grandmother, Billie Harvill.
Fisher is survived by his parents, Tad and Melanie Harvill, Mansfield; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Dede Arington, Ava; his paternal grandfather, Floyd “Tody” Harvill, Nixa; his paternal step-grandfather, Henry Welch, Norwood; his maternal great-grandfather, Rev. Wesley Arington, Springfield; his paternal great-grandparents, Loyd and Judith Harvill, Ozark; his paternal great-grandmother, Letha Matthews, Anderson, Mo.; his maternal great-great-grandmother, Rose Arington, Olathe, Kan.; and many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of the family.
Private graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, in the Mansfield born April 28, 1929 in Ozark County, Mo. Bernie was a truck driver and also worked at Dayco and Kraft in Springfield. On Oct. 30, 1948 Bernie was united in marriage to Anita Linder. To this union five children were death by his parents and an infant son, Danny Wayne.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Anita; four daughters, Sue Smith, of Springfield, Donna and Larry Scribner, Judy Wilson and Rodger, Marsha Blakey and Ellis, all of Ava; eight grandchildren, Bryan Johnson, Kena Smith, Mark, and Ashley Wilson, Shannon Wilson, Chase and Michika Blakey, John Blakey, and Chris and Ashley Scribner and J.J. Scribner; seven great-grandchildren, Shael and Ireland Wilson, Blythe and Chesnea Blakey, Jaylin Wilson, Kylee Williams and Konnor Scribner; and one sister, Glenda and Gordon Sanders of Ava.
Services will be held today (Thursday, July 17) at 10 a.m., in Clinkingbeard Chapel at Ava, with the Rev. Robert Roberts and the Rev. Neal Crum officiating. Cemetery. Visitation was held on Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. The family requests memorials to Seasons Hospice, 1831 West Melville, Springfield MO 65803. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
Lula Mae Bloomer, 76

Lula Mae Bloomer, daughter of Ted Jenkins and Oval (Clements) Jenkins, was passed away in her home with her family by her side on July 18, 2008 in Ava, Mo., at the age of 76 years.
Lula Mae was a lifelong resident of the Ava community. She was a homemaker. On Aug. 13, 1949 Lula Mae and George Bloomer were united in marriage in Mtn. Home, Ark., and to this union three children were death by her parents; two brothers, Verlin and Teddy Jenkins; and her husband, George, in 1985.
Lula Mae is survived by three children and their spouses, Ronnie and Lesia Bloomer, Roger and Kandy Bloomer, all of Ava, and Debbie and Jack Hall, Springfield; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Betty Jenkins and Meredith Stamper, both of Ava; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services for Lula Mae were Monday, July 21, at 10 a.m., at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Tom Maples officiating. Cemetery. The family requests memorials to donors’ choice of charity.

Leora Elizabeth (Allen) Hicks, age 91, born Jan. 16, 1917, in Douglas County, Mo., to the late Charles and Ethel (Walker) Jones. She was the wife of the late Clyde Allen and of the late Arthur Hicks. Leora was a member of the Church of Christ, Seymour, Mo.
Leora is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley (Allen) and Richard McCrite of Channahon Ill.; two daughters-in-law, Carol Allen of Ava, and Fern Allen of Twin Falls, Idaho; her eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; special friends Don and Addie Blomquist; and other extended family and friends.

Memorial service for Fena L. Johnston, of Lakeview, Ark., was held July 22, at Bethel Baptist Church, with Pastor Patrick Norris officiating.
Fena Johnston born Sunday, Sept. 26, 1937, in Douglas County, Missouri, the daughter of Otis Collins and Myrtle Tetrick. She death by her parents; brothers, Don Collins and Dale Haskell; a sister, Marie Hicks, and infant twin sister, Relda Collins.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
