Randy Dean Adams, 37

Randy Dean Adams, son of Louanna (Byerley) Adams and Robert Nelson Adams, was passed away on March 3, 2008, in his home, Wasola, at the age of 37 years, 8 months and 13 days.
Randy was a resident of the Wasola community for several years. He was an Ava High School graduate. Randy worked on the farm, cut wood and also did tree trimming for Townsend Tree Service. He enjoyed working on the farm, cutting timber, riding his three-wheeler, caring for the cattle, working in the hay and being with his family. Randy was a Christian and raised Baptist. He later became a member of the Catholic Church.
Randy was preceded in Cemetery with the Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Love offerings can be made to the family at the funeral home.
William “Billy” Frank Kratky, Jr., 48

William F. Kratky Jr., the son of William Kratky Sr. and Florence (Stille) Kratky, was passed away suddenly at his home on March 1, 2008, at the age of 48 years, 7 months and 28 days.
Bill lived in Ava, for 18 years after moving from Illinois.
He was a boiler installer and a master of anything mechanical. Bill enjoyed going floating at Vera Cruz, working on the farm, animals and spending time with friends.
He was a son, father, brother and an uncle. But, most of all a friend and a helping hand to all he met. Bill had nothing to give, but would give the shirt off his back if you needed it.
He is survived by his parents; two daughters, Ashley and Nicole, of Ava; a son, Scott Kamysz and wife, Sabrina, of Springfield; three sisters, Kathy Tomlinson, of Illinois, Karen Jaffke and husband, Kim, of Rogersville, and Krista Huth and husband, Chip, of Kansas City; two brothers, Keith Kratky and wife, Diane, of Illinois, and Kirk Kratky and wife, Noelle, of Santa Fe, N.M.; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services were held Wednesday, March 5, at 10 a.m., in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel, Ava, with the Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating. Visitation was from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Love offerings can be made to the Kratky family at the funeral home.
Dave William Fleetwood, 80

Dave William Fleetwood, son of William Dave Fleetwood and Maggie (Hitchcock) Fleetwood, was passed away July 8, 2008, at the age of 80 years 10 months and 15 days.
Dave was a life long resident of Squires. On March 6, 1959 Dave and Sylvia Marie Maples were united in marriage by Rev. Earnest Hamby in Ava, and they were blessed with one son, Robert, who resides in Branson West, Mo., and is employed by Silver Dollar City. Dave was a road construction laborer and farmer. At the time of his born. Dave attended Murray Church.
Dave was preceded in Interment will follow in the Murray Cemetery.
Lloyd M. Hancock, 90

Lloyd Marr Hancock, 90, formerly of Wilder and previously of Douglas County, Mo., born March 18, 1914, in Douglas County, Mo., to parents, Jim and Liza Hancock, where he spent many happy boyhood years roaming the Ozark Mountains. He attended school at the Champion School House in Champion, Mo.
Lloyd was working as a milk route drive when he met and born. For many years, Lloyd drove a school bus for the Mtn. Grove School District and was later employed for Feese Chevrolet in Mtn. Grove. Lloyd also owned and operated the local Texaco Service Station for a time and finished his lifetime career as a mechanic at M & G Motors for George and Richard Smith.
After suffering a stroke in 1974, Lloyd lived several months with his daughter, Peggy, and Tom Carreras, and family in Loomis, Calif. He then came to live with his son, Wesley, and Susie Hancock, and family in Wilder for the next 20 years, where he enjoyed the outdoors and made many friends. He was a regular patron of the Homedale Senior Citizens.
In 1994, Lloyd moved to Lovelock, Nev., to be in the care of his daughter. He lived 10 years at the Pershing General Nursing Home, where he made more friends and experienced the care and loving kindness that the staff bestowed upon him. He hated missing his snack times when we all came to visit.
He is survived by a son, Wesley Hancock, and his wife, Susie, of Wilder; a daughter, Peggy Carreras, and her husband, Tom, of Twin Falls; six grandchildren, Shawn (Brent) Harrison, of Caldwell, Shane (Jeannette) Hancock, of Wilder, Nikki (Gary) Sorrell, of Parma, Rachel (Bill) Voight, of Los Osos, Calif., Holly (Tony) Boche, of Colfax, Calif., and Jim Carreras, of Lovelock, Nev.; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He loved all his family, including his nieces and nephews in Missouri and Idaho. He often reminisced about all of them and liked to tell stories about the good times he had when they were all growing up together.
He is preceded in Cemetery, west of Drury, Mo., where he wanted to be buried with the rest of his immediate family.
Hugh Stout, 96

Services for Hugh Stout, of Lawrence, Kan., who interment following at Blanche born April 27, 1912, at Blanche, the son of Jake and Ada (Bell) Stout. He was the last surviving member of nine brothers and sisters.
Until he moved to Lawrence in 2003, he lived in rural Douglas County where he was the proprietor of rural grocery stores, farmed and for a short time carried the mail.
He enjoyed his garden and was an accomplished outdoorsman who loved hunting, trapping and fishing in the Ozarks woods of Douglas County.
He was preceded in Cemetery.
Augusta Lansdown, 85

Augusta (Wallace) Lansdown, 85, of Mansfield, formerly of Rock Port, Mo., born Aug. 12, 1923 in Douglas County, Mo., and graduated from high school in Ava. On Oct. 1, 1945 she passed away in 1980.

Orbrey (Jim) Shindler, 90

Orbrey (Jim) Shindler was died Sunday, April 3, 2005, in Olathe, Kans., at the age of 90 years.
On Nov. 28, 1935, he married for 65 years.
Orbrey was baptized Oct. 6, 2005, with 26 family members present. He faithfully attended church services at Johnson County Nursing Center where he lived.
Orbrey was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also loved baseball, playing bingo, going to sales, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a volunteer for the Wasola Fire Department as well.
Orbrey was preceded in Cemetery at Wasola. Memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove, Souder, or Herndon Cemeteries.
