Martha Peters, 92, of Cairo, Neb., formerly of the Taylor/Loup County area, Cemetery west of Taylor.
Mrs. Peters was death by her first husband, Ernest Reynolds, second husband, Ralph Young, third husband, Britton Peters, and a son, Bill Reynolds, of Boelus, Neb.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Raymond Robertson, of Cairo, Neb.; five sons and two daughters-in-law, Edward Reynolds, of Arizona, Duane and Shirley Reynolds, of Litchfield, Neb., Raymond and Betty Reynolds, of Ava, Larry Reynolds, Burlington, Colo., and John Reynolds, of Hazard, Neb.; a daughter-in-law, Deb Reynolds, of Boelus, Neb.; three sisters, Albertha Cole, of Sargent, Neb., Lula Gardner, of Iowa, and LaVonne Patterson, of Missouri; a brother, Howard Sheldon, of Kansas; a sister-in-law, Ruby Shelton, of Taylor, Neb.; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Martha was the second born to this union.
She graduated from Loup County High School in 1931, having celebrated her 74-year class reunion in Taylor High School.
Martha loved her yard and garden, and spent lots of time enjoying her winter birds. Lots of her time was spent reading, quilting and sewing.
She was a devoted Christian who taught adult Sunday school classes for 50 years. She was a member of the Cairo United Methodist Church.
She was also preceded in died at 12:17 a.m. March 26, 2006, at his home in Ava.
He was married at Tecumseh to Wanda Blackburn, who survives.
He was a retired owner and meat broker for V and W Brokerage.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of Gainesville Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda, of the home; two daughters, Tracy Smith and Rhonda Flood, both of Independence; brothers and sisters, Mike Smith, Zanoni, Bonnie Luna, Gainesville, Blanch Sukow, Springfield, Norene Loftis, Hardenville, Nancy Kelley, Dora, Floyd Smith, Ava, Floy Tucker, Rockford, Ill., Dave Smith and Bernice Ziegler, Wichita, Kan., Rosell Howard, Belton, and Frank Smith, Independence; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in Interment was in Smith Chapel born July 14, 1936, in West Plains, and departed this life March 25, 2006, at the age of 69 years, 8 months, and 11 days.
Bob was a resident of the Ava area since 2004, moving here from Nixa. He owned and operated a heating and cooling business for many years. On April 9, 1955, Bob and Barbara Riley were united in marriage in West Plains and to this union three children were death by his parents, a brother, Lawrence "Larry" Burnes, a sister, Lorna Burnes, and a grandchild.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara, of the home, Ava; a son, Alan Burnes, Ava; two daughters, Cheryl Howell, Ava, and Holly Jackson, Springfield; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be announced at a later date and time.
Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. The family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
Floyd Lee Lamb, 70

Floyd Lee Lamb was death by his parents; two sisters, Willa Mae Francis and Lois Kay Norman; and four brothers, Roy Everett Lamb, Junior Ray Lamb, Robert Wayne Lamb and James Arthur Lamb Jr.
He is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Pat; a son, Floyd Lee Lamb Jr. and wife Sherry, Ava; a daughter, Debra Darlene Summers and husband Sam, Seymour; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Leota Grant, Gallatin, Tenn., Dorothy Lou Alexander, Middleburg, Fla., and Judith Ann Zernicke, Ava; one brother, Chester Frank Lamb, Ava; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with Pastor Les Hallmark officiating. Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of America.
Smith Taylor "Smitty" Brown II, 87

Smith Taylor Brown II, son of Smith Taylor Brown and Nancy Elizabeth (Pyle) Brown, was death in 1997. In 1998, "Smitty" and Marilyn C. Jennings were united in marriage in Laughlin, Nev. Marilyn preceded him in Cemetery at Mound with Greg Chamberlain officiating and full military honors by American Legion Post 112 and VFW Post 5993.
