Harry Lee Bingham was passed away Nov. 30, 2005 at the age of 65.
Harry was a resident of the Ava area since 1964. He was a mechanic and was employed with Prestressed Casting Co. in Springfield as a mechanic supervisor for 19 1/2 years.
Harry was a member of Local Union 676 in Springfield and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
On Nov. 1, 1980 Harry and Diana (Phillips) McMaster were united in marriage at Red Bank Baptist Church. Harry attended the Happy Home Church in Ava.
Harry was preceded in Interment was in the Ava born in Brushy Knob, Mo., on Nov. 3, 1922, and death by his parents, his brother, Marion, his first child who Cemetery under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt-Bradley Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove.
Fred A. Burk, 84

Fred A. Burk was death by his parents, one sister and five brothers.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, in the Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial was at 1 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans born July 15, 1927, in Brown Branch, and departed this life Dec. 27, 2005 at the age of 78.
Ailene was a resident of the area since 1955, moving here from Springfield. Ailene was post mistress and operated the general store at McClurg until its closing. On March 24, 1955, Ailene and Lester Adams were united in marriage in Ozark.
Ailene enjoyed hosting the Monday night music party at McClurg for 20 years, loved cooking and gardening and giving to others. She was a member the Bethel Church.
Ailene was preceded in Interment followed in the Bethel Cemetery Fund at the funeral home.
Marine Lance Corporal Christopher B. Best

Funeral services for Marine Lance Corporal Christopher B. Best, of Mansfield, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Mansfield. Burial with full military honors will follow at Hensley died Jan. 4 when a light armored vehicle (LAV) carrying several Marines veered out of control on a freeway bridge and smashed into a railing. Best, 20, and a 22-year-old Navy Corpsman from California, fell to their deaths in the canyon below.
Best’s mother, Phoebe Best, lives at Drury, in eastern Douglas County. His father, David Best, lives in North Little Rock, Ark. Chris Best also has a 2-year-old daughter in Mtn. Grove. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters.
Rayman Howard Minnigerode, 84

Rayman Howard Minnigerode, son of Walter Minnigerode and Hazel Morgan Minnigerode, was born. Rayman and Katherine had been death by his parents and one brother, Walter.
His survivors include his wife, Katherine, of the home in Ava; a daughter and her husband, Rosemary and Jerry Swain, Ava; one granddaughter, Karen Pasczek, Cahokia, Ill.; one step-granddaughter, Lynn Hartzel and husband, James, New Hope, Idaho; two step-great-granddaughters, Stephanie and Jessica; one step-great-great-granddaughter, Mikela; one brother, Gene Minnigerode and one sister, Johoanna Brady and Emory all of St. Louis; a brother-in-law, Tom McManney; a niece, Irene Wobbe and husband, Stretch; a great-nephew, Daniel Wobbe; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today (Thursday) at Styger & Sons Funeral Home, St. Louis, with burial in Calvary died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at his daughter's home in Carthage, Mo.
He was married Niki Killoren in St. Robert, Mo., and she survives at their home.
Survivors in addition to his wife Niki include five daughters, Kay Coleman of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Donelle Frye of Fredonia, Gerry Short of Independence, Menda Harper of Coolidge, Ariz., and Joyce Frye of Carthage, Mo.; one son, Kirk Strikland of Littleton, Colo.; one brother, Dane Frye of Davenport, Iowa; four sisters, Violet Adams of Kansas City, Mo., Geraldine Matney of Fredonia, Mozelle Allen of Saline and Janice Cox of Osage City; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Four brothers, Reginald Frye, Gale Frye, Jack Fry and Norman Fry, preceded him in Cemetery under the direction of the Timmons Funeral Home, Fredonia, Kans. Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiated.
