Peggy Joan Livingston, daughter of Vernon and Ruth (Williams) Goin, was death by her parents; her husband, Garman Rousseau; a grandson, Nicholas Brumley; a brother, Rick Goin; and a sister, Anna Marie Brumley.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Don, of the home; four sons, Roger Brumley, and his wife, Tammy, and David Brumley, all of Mansfield, Scotty Rousseau, and Marcus Livingston, both of Marshfield; two grandchildren, Nathan and Kourtney Brumley; a sister, Debbie Harvill, and her husband, Mickey, of Oldfield; a brother, Butch Goin, and his wife, Monica, of Ozark; a sister-in-law, Vickie Goin, of Chadwick; and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Douglas County and attended Ava schools. She was a loving and devoted homemaker, caring for her family.
Peggy had made her profession of faith in Christ, and was a member of Mound Fundamental Baptist Church.
In her spare time she enjoyed working on puzzles, and quilts and loved being outdoors. She was also an avid reader.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Macomb born on April 21, 1928, in Douglas County, and departed this life on April 27, 2006, in Ava, at the age of 78 years and 6 days.
Syble was a lifelong resident of the Ava community. She was a housewife, homemaker and worked on the farm and garden with her husband, Roy.
On Sept. 21, 1945, Syble and Roy Burton were united in marriage in Ava, and to this union five children were death by her parents; a daughter, Anna Jean Burton Cornett; two sons-in-law, Junior Harlin Cornett and Chuck Adams; and four sisters.
Syble is survived by her husband, Roy of the home in Ava; four children and their spouses, Alvin and Becky Burton, Ava, Joyce and Kenny Smith, Ava, Darlene Burton, Ozark, and Sue and Dennis Ramilo, Norwood; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one on the way; and one sister, Reba Turner, of Illinois; and a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Saturday, April 29, at 10 a.m. in the Murray went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at his home in Ava. He was born.
Arlan and Midge established Tacoma Taxidermy in Graham, Wash. and spent many enjoyable summers fishing in Alaska before retiring to Ava in 1999. Arlan enjoyed being active in the Highway Church of the Nazarene. He joined several worldwide Work-and-Witness Teams, and received the Nazarene Missions International Distinguished Service Award. Arlan was also a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in born July 20, 1918 near Rome, Mo., and departed this life Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kan., at the age of 87 years, nine months, and 23 days.
She was united in marriage to Lester Vernon Jenkins Dec. 25, 1938, and to this union one daughter was death Dec. 14, 2002. She was also preceded in Cemetery near Ava, with Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Douglas County Museum and Historical Society or the American Heart Association at the funeral home.
Marlin Reese, 76

Marlin Reese, son of Anna (Wood) and Simeon Everett Reese, was born.
Marlin attended the Coble School and later Cabool Schools. Marlin death.
Marlin left a legacy for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He taught devotion to family, respect, and the value of a job well done. His children learned from his example to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and the natural gifts of the Earth. He was a devoted member of the Fieldstone Church of Christ.
Marlin is survived by his wife, Virginia Lee of the home; one sister, Lois Ilene Janvier and husband Charles; his sons, Marlin Keith Reese and wife, Paulette, Ronald Max Reese and wife, Eloise and Dwight Reese and wife, Valerie; his daughter, Susan Annette Mason and husband, Tom; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one niece, two nephews and many relatives and friends.
He was welcomed to heaven by sons, Teddy Lane and Danny Lee Reese; his parents, Anna and Simeon Everett Reese; his brother, Floyd Arthur Reese and his sister Ina Mae Reese.
Services were at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 30, at the Fieldstone Church of Christ with Evangelist Ron Alexander and Ron Wood officiating. Burial was in the Penner born May 7, 1912 in Macomb, Mo. She departed this life Friday, June 16, 2006, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, at the age of 94.
She was preceded in born in Macomb and attended school in Norwood, where she graduated in the class of 1932. On March 8, 1935, Hazel Cemetery.
