Julia Ann Stark
July 12, 1935-Oct. 9, 2005
Julia Ann Stark, 70, of Noel, Mo., departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, in the Beverly Health Care Center of McDonald County in Anderson, Mo.
Julia was born July 12, 1935 in Carbondale, Ill., daughter of the late John and Eleanore (Lowery) Hastie. In 1967 she was united in marriage to William E. “Bill” Stark and to this union one son was born. Throughout her life she was a loving homemaker to her husband and family. In 1982 she and Bill left the state of Mississippi. She married William Fortenberry, Dec. 23, 1978, in Picayune, Miss., he survives. She is also survived by a brother, Michael Dees of Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Leo Dees.
The body has been taken for cremation and no services are planned.

M. June Thompson
Nov. 17, 1918-April 27, 2006
M. June Thompson, 87, Goodman, Mo., died at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2006, at her home in Goodman, following a short illness.
Mrs. Iowa, and moved to the Goodman area in 1950 from Thompson in 1940 at Thompson West and husband, Terry, of Joplin, with their daughter, Angela McGinnis and husband, Marcus, with their children, Keesha, DaShawn and Drake;
Ben Thompson and wife, Kathleen, with their children, Heather, Jennifer, Taylor and Cody; and their daughter, Brandie Walters and husband, Jason, and their children, Tyler, Brent, Cayle and Haley;
Ardie Thompson and wife, Ingrid, Anderson, Mo., and daughter, Michelle.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a great-grandson.
Graveside services were Monday, May 1, 2006, at 1 pm at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery south of Neosho. Friends called at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, on Saturday from noon until 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. and the family received friends Sunday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Nora Belva Levitch
Sept. 24, 1924-April 25, 2006
Nora Belva Levitch, 81, of Wheaton, Missouri, the daughter of the late Henry I. and Lula E. (Nichols) Utter.
She was a member of the Wheaton Church of Christ.
Surviving are one brother, George Utter of Purdy, Mo., and one sister, Jane James of Exeter, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
A memorial service was held at Wheaton Church of Christ Thursday, April 27, 2006, at 2 p.m. with Harold Reaves officiating.

Loyal Keith Larson
Jan. 28, 1925-April 25, 2006
Loyal Keith Larson, 81, Goodman, Mo., went home to be with his Savior at 5:17 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at Medicalodge of Neosho after a six-month illness.
Mr. Larson was born Jan. 28, 1925, at Bird City, Kan., the son of Joseph Godfrey and Bessie Ethel (Banister) Larson. He had been a resident of the Goodman community for more than 20 years moving there from Neosho, Mo.
He was a member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworkers. He worked in construction approximately 40 years, building bridges, missile silos, the United States Air Force Academy and other buildings.
Mr. Larson was a Naval veteran of World War II serving in the Atlantic. Loyal attained the rank of Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class. For many years he was active in the American Legion. In the early 1980s he served as Commander of Neosho Post 163.
Mr. Larson served on the Neosho City Council after being appointed to fill a vacancy. He later was elected to two terms on the council. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Newton County Health Department and various other boards and committees. He was a member of the Anderson First Christian Church.
Loyal married Margie Catherine Ketchum on Aug. 14, 1946, in Columbus, Kan., she survives.
His parents, four brothers - Virgil, Dale, Gene and Norvin, and one sister, Marla Jo Wright, preceded him in death.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Sarratt, Goodman, and Cassandra (Sandy) Jordan and husband, Orville, Neosho; one son, Robert Larson and wife, Donna, of Neosho; two sisters, Reva Wright of Peyton, Colo., Scott and Kathy of Pineville, Mo., and Kelly and Valerie of Denver, Pennsylvania, Janet Polhemas of Pineville, Mo., and Judy Polhemas of Pineville, Mo.; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Visitation services for Mr. Frank Kauffman, III were held from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006, in the Ozark Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Mo. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website - www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
