Finas Hince Roll
Finas Hince Roll, age 85, of Versailles, born December 15, 1919 at Osage Iron Works, Missouri, the son of James Peter and Flossie Kincaid Roll. He was united in marriage on July 24, 1948 in Versailles, with Pauline Croy. Finas was a World War II Army veteran, having served in Company F, 504th Parachute Infantry. He was a self-employed carpenter most of his life having built numerous homes and structures, and was a member of West Union Baptist Church near Versailles. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Roll of the home; one son, Finas Stephen Roll and his wife Christina, of Santee, California; one sister, Nadean Kindle of Versailles, two grandchildren, James Bradford and Sheena Brooke Roll, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in interment will be in the Versailles passed away Friday, August 26, 2005 at the Laurie Care Center. He was death by one son, James Edwin Marriott of August 26, 2004, two brothers, Walter M. Marriott and Donald Lee Marriott, and two sisters, EvaDean V. Adams and Daphine Marriott. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Rev. Danny Owsley officiating. Robert Ross will sing “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art”, a vocal recording of “Daddy’s Hands” by Holly Dunn will be played. Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Brody, Eddie, Danny and Randy James, and Byron and Rob Marriott. Honorary casketbearers will be Fred, Kenny Don and Jason Marriott, Pete Jones, James Ray, Shannon and Wesley Drury. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

David K. Offield
David K. Offield, age 77, of Gravois Mills, born July 18, 1928 at Stockton, Missouri, the son of Elmer and Cordelia Keller Offield. He was united in marriage on December 14, 1957 with Velora McClanahan. Dave was a self-employed construction contractor, and formerly owned Rail Fence Café and Mission Steak House in Gravois Mills. He is survived by his wife, Velora Offield of the home; one son, John Offield of Gravois Mills; one brother, Merle Offield of Kansas City, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in passed away Saturday morning, September 3, 2005 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was death by one son, Greg, and two daughters, Linda and Sandy. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, at West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, and at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, at Raymore Christian Church in Raymore, with Rev. Jim Sutherlin officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

Madeline C. Bridges
Madeline C. Bridges, age 95, of Versailles, born July 1, 1909 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Howard and Grace Frierson Simpson. She was united in marriage on November 8, 1947 in Basehor, Kansas with Melvin L. Bridges, who preceded her in Interment was in the West Lawn Addition of the Versailles passed away Wednesday morning, May 25, 2005 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. She was death on July 27, 1996. She later death by one son, James Matthew Stevens on June 20, 1962, and one sister, Mary Lou Wilkerson. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Cemetery in Laurie. Pallbearers were Matthew Stevens, Christopher Stevens, Michael Boatright, Ron Anderson, Tony Kotik and Tim Morse. Honorary pallbearers were Audra Schneider, Carrie Stevens, Katie Stevens, Kristen Boatright, Melissa Anderson, Melanie Stevens, and Jaynie Stevens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Morgan County Habitat for Humanity. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

James Ross Harbin
James Ross Harbin, age 65, of Versailles, born January 25, 1940 in Maryville, Missouri, the son of John M. and Elsie Hardy Harbin. He was united in marriage on November 1, 1958 with Myrtle Ruth Webster, who preceded him in death by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Rev. Danny Owsley officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the Grange Hall Cemetery near Rockport, MO. Casketbearers will be Scott Clark, Tim Showman, Pat Berkstresser, Roy Stemberger, Randy Grantham, Roger Yardley, Bob Lingerfelt, Kevin Franklin, Marty Garber and Mike Mullins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions are suggested to the James Harbin Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
